Dylan Murray, DC

A co-​worker referred me to Dr. Murray over a year ago when I was suffering from an extremely intense shooting pain in my upper back. I chose to see him because of his attention to smaller/​supporting muscle groups, as opposed to major adjustments with no love to adjoining areas. Long story short, he healed me with 5 treatments! Now I’ve returned to see Dr. Murray for prenatal care and need to turn my breech baby. I must say I’m completely shocked with his ability to treat such a speciality area. He’s also doing work on an old jaw injury that has resurfaced with this pregnancy. His attention to detail and knowledge surpasses any other chiro I have ever seen in the past 11 years. As if this testimony doesn’t cover A to Z, I also want to comment on his professional yet beautiful bedside manners (which I take extremely seriously). He’s fantastic, A plus!

I’d always been looking for a chiropractor with a healing touch and magic hands, and finally found one in Dr. Murray. His soft tissue massage gets right to the heart of the issue, and is enjoyable and beneficial. He listens to what you say and remembers. The staff is friendly and helpful with payment and insurance, and able to find an appointment when you want one. In contrast with past doctors whose adjustments were painful and didn’t produce results, I always look forward to seeing Dr. Murray.

Great chiropractor! I’ve had pain in my back and other areas for years and been to other doctors but Murray is the only one who’s helped with the back pain so much that I feel like a new person after our visits. He has all kinds of ways of working your muscles and can tell what’s really going on with your body. I’m also pregnant and he has special pillows and things that I can lay safely on my stomach and get help with pains during pregnancy.

Dr Murray was very affective in helping my boyfriends back feel better. He knows what he is doing and is very caring to his customers along with the rest of the employees. Everyone was so sweet! They have a lot of options and its a great place to go if you want to get better

Let me start off by saying there are a ton of places to go in the Santa Cruz area to get PT, Massage, and Chiropractic work done, and I have been to a TON, but this place exceeds them all!
After having a baby, braking my tail bone, finding out I had mild scoliosis (that which NOT one Dr. in the past had caught), major back problems and a few other deep tissue issues, I found myself in major need of treatment.
My husband had been going to Spine and Sport for a while and was trying to convince me to try it out and I was biased because of all my experience in the past! But THIS place has seriously saved me. Dr. Dylan has been the best Chiropractor I have ever seen. He not only adjusts, but he cares deeply about how you are feeling and gets to the bottom of it! He does deep tissue work as well as shows you different ways to work out and stretches to help with the areas you are in pain with. He is willing to see you as much as needed and has a lot of flexibility with his schedule making it easy for you to come when needed! I honestly went from being a grumpy super in pain (on a scale of 1 – 10 … A 9) so in just 5 weeks feeling almost 100% better. I HIGHLY recommend seeing him! He is a genius with the body!!!
Also the front desk girls are so kind, personable, and friendly! They are super cute and professional! Every time I walk in the door I feel like it’s family, and they remember everything you tell them! I love this place!
Oh and if your looking for a massage, this is the place to go! It’s not «fu-​fu» they really want to help fix you and know how to! Best massage I’ve ever had in my life! I walked out feeling the best I’ve felt in my whole life. I recommend Tiffany for a deep tissue massage, she has helped my neck and upper shoulders feel so much better!

I came to Dr. Murray after several other chiropractors and he is by far the best I have ever seen! He really listened to my issues and worked with me to create a plan to relieve my pain. I really appreciate how he takes the time to get to know me as compared to others who just try and get you in and out as quickly as possible.

I had a headache for 10 days straight and at that point was willing to go to a witch doctor for help. Thankfully I didn’t have to resort to drastic measures and stumbled on Dr Murray on a Friday afternoon. My headache was gone by Saturday morning. I cannot say enough good things about him and the place he works for on Frederick St. I have been coming here for about a month and planning on making this a regular part of my week. I just can’t believe the difference Dr Murray was able to make in my life. I didn’t even know my headaches were coming from my neck. Lots of thanks to the good Dr and highly recommended to anyone with headaches and back issues.

Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Murray. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a very honest, pressure free and caring Chiropractor. I had been desperate to find a chiropractor before a long trip out of the country to help with bad neck pain. Dr. Murray fit me in that day, and spent extra time with me since it was my first visit just to really listen to my pains and health history. He makes you feel incredibly comfortable, explains everything that he is doing, and it is clear he really cares about you as a patient and getting you healed. I felt SO much better for my trip and have continued to feel great now for over two months. Thank you!

First of many thanks to Dr. Murray for all of his helpful suggestions for my serious alignment issues. When I can take home some of the healing practices, it really makes the visits worth it. My neck and shoulders are regularly tense and full of knots, so it’s great that Dr. Murray will focus on loosening up my tissue to get a good adjustment, and more movement where i’ve felt locked up. Body pain sucks super bad, and we shouldn’t have to feel like we live in it for so long. This guy and the rest of the great people at Spine and Sport take away my pain, help me work through it, and prevent more of it. I’m extremely grateful.

I was on vacation and hurt my neck. I needed help fast. I found dr Murray on Unilocal made an appointment and hoped for the best. When I arrived the receptionist was very friendly and I hoped the doc would be just as nice. Not only did he spend quality time with me. He didnt just lay me down and adjust me, he physically stretched my muscle then proceeded to give me and unbelievable adjustment. From the moment I met him I felt in good hands. He is very intelligent and knows how to treat pain. Wish I lived in Santa Cruz or at least near because he is one of the best Chiropractors I have every been too. Thanks for saving our vacation!!!

I’m nothing but great full and thankful for having Dr. Murray as my Doctor. I been suffering of a pinch nerve along my right shoulder and my neck causing painful headaches. Dr. Murray took care of me since the first time I went to see him and I immediately starting healing after the first session. He is truly as good as they come. Not only he is very professional but he is also very true to his patients. His staff is very friendly and understanding. I truly recommend him to anyone that wants to get heal fast and correctly of if you just want a good cracking :).

Dr. Murray is awesome! I concur with everything others have said on this page. I’ll add that he is fantastic at working with teen athletes. He’s able to understand the source of their soreness, explain it, correct it and then work with them on exercises that will keep them strong. My child has been several chiropractors and physical therapists. Dr. Murray is the only one she’s responded to. He has worked very hard at putting together a training program that has increased her strength and posture. He even consulted the physical therapists in the office on her behalf. Santa Cruz is very lucky to have Dr. Murray.

Spends a good amount of time with you every visit and does not seem rushed. Works on the things you ask for and continues to ask about other problem areas after the main ailments are addressed. This guy knows and understands that people don’t just have one messed up thing and the rest of their body is perfect. A lot of times there are multiple injuries that need work and Dr. Dylan will help you out!

I have to admit I was a little skeptical that Dr Murray could help me as I’ve gone the chiropractic route before with only marginal results. As participants at our company health fair he and Jessica were warm and friendly, but it was Dr Murray’s hands on demo and feedback that got me into his office. After just one visit I experienced noticeable improvement in my chronic knee and hip pain that I thought would never go away. Dr Murray called the day after my treatment to check in and see how I was doing. His soft tissue work with an occasional adjustment has been the miracle to get this old (ish) lady back to workouts without compromise. Now, just several weeks later I am practically pain free. I highly recommend Dr Murray. And thanks to the staff for keeping the office running so smoothly… I’ve never had to wait for my appointment, no matter what time of day!

I came to Dr. Murray with incredible neck and back pain and daily migranes. After 1 visit, I felt relief from my headaches. He clarified for me what was going on with my neck and back and told me what the plan was to put me back together! 3 visits later and I feel like a different person! The adjustments are great and the soft tissue work they offer does wonders! All of the staff there is very friendly and they are always willing to work with you. I recommend Dr. Murray to anyone who is in pain and needs relief!
OH! And the prices for the services are great too! Better than a lot of other Chiropractic offices in the SC area. FIVE STARS! (:
