My name is Margo Kerber and have been grooming since the age of 16.{I am now 47}. I have done all my grooming here in Santa Cruz. My staff and I {Orianna Bradley}, welcome you and your pets to come see us at our shop. You will find a clean and safe enviroment for your precious ones. We use all natural products, we take the greatest of care in handling your pets. Safety is always our first concern. We are prompt in appointment times and make sure to return all calls in a timely manner. Our hours are flexible, walk ins welcome. All grooming is done in 2 – 3 hours max. {No need to worry about leaving your pet all day}We also have pet sitting and boarding avail.

I’ve used 3 – 4 groomers in Santa Cruz but these guys are the ones I’ve settled on for my normal groomers. Very flexible, often same day appointments. My doodle always comes out great. My dog got skunked a week before his normal grooming and they gave me a call right back and got him in the same day. I had called about 10 places including vets and no one else could fit him in. A local neighborhood business that really cares.

I happened to be walking by with my dog and saw this place. I went in to see if they had any spots available and the owner took my German Shepherd right away. She was sweet, fast and did a great job. Also very affordable

Just got my cat Mika back from Margo at Animal House. The cut was fast and looks good, can’t complain about the $ 30 price tag as this is way more reasonable than some other places I’ve been to. I would recommend for cat grooming as Margo was very caring and gentle with my cat, I wouldnt go back otherwise and I will be.

I am so glad I took my cats here. I highly recommend Animal House Grooming. Margo was great. She was sweet with my cats, the place was clean, she did what I asked, she charged a fair price, and answered my questions when I picked up my cats.

This is the first review I have ever written. I am doing it as a warning to anyone considering taking their pet to Animal House Grooming. They neglected to trim the dew claws of an elderly dog. The dew claws grew into the foot of this poor dog causing excruciating pain. The dog had to have surgery to removed the claws from under the skin. Protect your loving companion and PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE TO BE GROOMED!!!

Margo the Owner gave my golden retriever a bath and haircut. I thought her initial manner a bit gruff. After talking with her, I was concerned that she hadn’t really listened to me as she continuously talked over me when I was speaking.
Despite her shop being clean and well organized, my fears about listening to me were confirmed when I went back to pick up my dog. She had cut everything I had expressly told her not to — our favorite curly parts of our dog were hacked, especially his beautiful feathery tail. It now looks like a rope. People ask me now if he is a lab.
Margo is timely and well-​priced, but I am disappointed with her ability to understand and communicate with her clients. She explained her deviation from my instructions by saying that my dog was her advertising in the community and she wasn’t going to let him leave looking sloppy. Offensive to say the least.
My only consolation is what I tell myself if I get a bad haircut. Thank God hair grows.

Margo clipped my bird’s wings at a very reasonable rate compared to what the Vets charge. My little guy bit her but she was very calm and understanding. Easy scheduling, called her and got in 30 min later. Will be back.

I took my German shepherd here and she loved it and came out clean as ever! Usually she starts to panic when i take her to a groomer but when i handed her off to Ori she calmed right down! Thank you! Fantastic service. See you in 2 months!

Margo, the Owner went above and beyond! She groomed our long haired Persian cat impeccably, and even trimmed his nails. Her shop is clean and Margo made sure our little boy was trimmed up exactly as we wanted.
Highly recommend this place — I like to patronize locally owned shops who do a good job and care, and this place definitely does!!!

Animal House is an excellent place to bring your dog to be groomed. I was impressed by the care that Margo gives every dog. My Havanese and Lab were both happy and well groomed.

I’ve only gone twice. Because I had to. Too cold to wash my dog In yard during winter. Lady is forward and rude. Customer service not her thing. Rarely opened. Great at washing but doesn’t groom at all. Paid for it but had to do it my self because it was obvious she books her self back to back so she has no one on one with ur dog.

If you don’t want your cat to be in agonizing pain, avoid this place. The lady who runs it cut my elderly cat’s quick. In my opinion, she has no idea what she’s doing.
