Agile Monkey offers quality instruction in Pilates and Core Align.
Private Sessions are always focused on the individual needs of the client and will teach each client to work more efficiently in their own body, regardless of their current fitness level. The instructors at Agile Monkey will help their clients understand their postural tendencies, correct their imbalances, significantly improve their physical condition and reduce their likelihood of future injury. We will teach you how to find your inner monkey, and feel better than you have in years.
Group Classes are kept small to allow all of our clients to exercise in a way that is going to be most positive and beneficial to their bodies. We offer Mat, Ball, Springboard, and Reformer classes six days of the week.
History
Established in 2006.
Agile Monkey is a family business, located in downtown Santa Cruz. We have consistently been voted the Best Pilates Studio in the area, and we love what we do. We offer private instruction and group classes to accommodate all needs and budgets, as well as comprehensive Pilates instructor education programs.
Agile Monkey was founded by Lisa Graham and brought together talented instructors that possess the skill to identify the positive impact that Pilates can have on each and every one of us. Business Owner
Lisa Graham is the owner of the Agile Monkey Pilates Studio, Pilates and Core Align faculty for Balanced Body, and published author.
Lisa was first introduced to Pilates at UCLA in 1993, where she studied dance and kinesiology. With over 20 years of experience studying and teaching movement, Lisa works with a broad spectrum of clients and instructors on a daily basis, and is always excited to see what a profound impact the practice of Pilates and CoreAlign can have on an individual.
As an educator, Lisa has trained instructors locally, across the United States and internationally. Her students have gone on to great success and now teach all over the globe. She is honored to be able to pass on her knowledge and mentor a new generation of Pilates and CoreAlign Instructors.
