Swihart Painting

Tim Swihart Painting just finished a job for us this week and did a fantastic job!
I had looked on Unilocal for painter recommendations and saw that Swihart had consistently received high reviews I contacted Tim (owner) to get an estimate to paint our master bedroom, newly constructed loft, living room, dining room, as well as all the crown moulding and base boards in the associated rooms. He answered on my first call, arrived promptly for our appointment, his bid was competitive (I had 2 other competing bids) and he was able to start the project within our tight schedule.
Once the work started, Tim and Angel (his partner) were very polite, professional and helpful on questions or changes we required. They left each day with the area they had been working in clean and safe to navigate around (we have children). Once complete the rooms looked fabulous and exceeded our expectations. Tim came by to do a final inspection to make sure we were happy and hired him to do more work for us in a couple of weeks.

Picture this: an 80’s-era kitchen, dining area, living room and hallway coated in a dingy, band-​aid shade of pinky brown (an unfortunate color choice if there ever was one), topped off by a graying, frankly hideous popcorn ceiling. A combination so awful, I despaired every day when looking at it.
Today, those ugly walls and ceiling are gone, transformed miraculously into a lovely jewelbox of perfection: light, creamy walls the exact shade of candlelight, bordered by crown molding crafted to perfection in a crisp, clean white. And that ceiling? Now a smooth, expanse of brightness that changes the whole feeling of the space, a wonder to behold. I could never have imagined my home looking so pretty. It’s everything I could have wished for, and it fills me with joy.
All the credit for truly outstanding workmanship and professional integrity goes to the splendid and dedicated guys who are Swihart Painting. Tim, Angel and Andrew brought their expertise to bear on my home to such great good effect that I can never thank them enough. You will not go wrong in choosing this remarkable crew: on time, courteous, helpful to the max, affordable, supremely likeable… and ridiculously careful to leave everything clean and tidy when the job was finished. So pleased to give them the highest recommendation!

Tim & Angel just finished painting the inside of our house. We are more than happy with the way it came out. These 2 guys went over & above what we had asked for. Tim just finished painting the exterior of my two story home along with his partner Angel. Tim did a FANTASTIC job. Every aspect of Tim’s work was exceptional. My first one got deleted somehow. So I want to write a new review for Tim. He has painted my houses four times over the last 12 years. His work, professionalism and attention to detail is five stars. I have referred him to my neighbors who also have used him for painting jobs. Tim is very courteous, and takes care of any little extra that may arise on the job. Tim Swihart has painted all of the houses that I’ve lived in. In our latest house, each room was a different color. Each room looks beautiful and he paid a lot of attention to detail. He also installed crown molding in all the rooms and it looks perfect. Tim is unique because he does the painting himself and shows excellent craftsmanship. He only uses one or two additional workers to make sure that the job is done right– he doesn’t send in a big crew to go to work on their own. Highly recommended.

Tim did an amazing job painting my Condo. He removed all the old nasty cottage cheese from the ceilings, fixed several old leaking spots in the drywall from ancient water pipe leaks, sanded and painted all my doors, installed crown molding in the kitchen and bedrooms, and painted all the rooms. Wow what a difference! The place looked completely new! It only took a few days, the quality was superb, and he was very fast! He actually did the work himself, not a bunch of cheap guys from Home Depot he could have sent in. I had several estimates, Tim’s price was extremely fair, and It gave me peace to know he was Licensed by the state of CA as a Painting Contractor with 35 years of experience.
