Holy Moly! I ordered one of their new Italian Ham Panini’s for lunch today. I received a Spicy Italian Panini. Didn’t realize until I got back to work, so I decided to eat it anyway. It is HOT! I like spicy, but this is HOT! Definitely will check my order before I leave their drive-thru going forward.

Fast turnover on employees here. Quality of service goes up and down. But is mostly fine to really good. The big strike for me is no powdered cinnamon at the self serve condiment station. Going on three months. Every time I ask they say they’re out. How can you be out of cinnamon for three months? I know that a Copperhill and Smith. Too bad this, one’s more convenient.

Stopped at this Starbucks coming and going to Disneyland this past weekend. Going southbound, a cheerful young man in bow tie was terrific! Drinks were promptly made and were correct — our four drinks were all special. The worst was they were out of PB&J boxes and the Fruit & Cheese box was awful as the two(of three) apple slices were brown. Coming north back Bakersfield, the drive thru was fantastic just as if went inside. Wish these folks could spread some cheerfulness and knowledge to a few stores in Kern County

Best customer service ever at this Starbucks. I ordered a cold drink and it was prepared hot. I told Elle I had ordered the cold one. She corrected the mistake immediately, gave me the correct order and told me it was ‘on the house’. I was not expecting a freebie, but surely appreciate the good service. Another time, there was a delay at the drive-thru. They apologized for the wait, didn’t charge me for my drink AND gave me a $ 5 gift card for next time. Again, I was not expecting a freebie and I did not mind the wait, but their customer service is the most exceptional! I will continue to come back to this Starbucks. Happy customer! :)

Iced coffee was great and the young man suggested mocha… it was perfect. But I was very disappointed in the restroom, yucky !!!

Talk about devaluing your brand. High priced coffee with a dirty gas station bathroom. The worst of both possibilities.

they are still not friendly at all. I prefer the Starbucks on Copperhill and Smyth. I was there yesterday and my drink was made incorrectly twice. No sorry from the girl who took my order, Jessica(short, hispanic girl), not even a smile. She never smiles. Most of the baristas there do not smile. They all need customer service training skills. A simple sorry or smile can go a looonng way.

I drive past this Starbucks on my way to work every day, and the line in the drive thru always makes me keep driving right past it. Today, I had extra time and desperately needed caffeine. So I stopped. The drive thru moved surprisingly fast and the baristas were super friendly. I was in and out with 4 cars in front of me in less than 3 minutes. AND my iced coffee tastes better than usual! :)

Three strikes, you’re out! This Starbucks can’t seem to get their drive-thru orders right. Nothing worse than realizing your order is wrong, when you’re already back on the freeway. Avoid this Starbucks.

Great staff, they take the time to get to know you(and ask how your days been) while making your delicious drink. Will definitely come back to this location.

On our drive to L.A., we wanted to get a cold drink for the long ride. During our trip, we saw Starbucks and just had to make a stop. It was a little odd to see Starbucks attached to a gas station, but no problem. We went inside and the store was a small layout. There was limited seating and only 1 table which was lower or standard height like other Starbucks. The rest of the tables were the bar stool type. The service was fast and friendly as I was able to order my Iced coffee and they served it up right away. Since this place is pretty small, you had to go to the gas station on the right side to use the rest rooms.

I love this Starbucks! I stop here often when I head South down the I-5 on my way to LA or OC for dancing. This location is easily visible from the freeway when you are headed South. It is also very easy to get on and off the Freeway(make sure you turn left out of the parking lot if you want to get back on the freeway North or it becomes a very scenic drive!) This Starbucks is attached to a gas station(can’t remember which company). You can enter from the outside or through the attached mini-mart. The interior is small, but has room for several small tables in the back. I’ve always ordered my drinks to go(gotta get back on the road to make good time!) but I have found the interior visually pleasing, the music soothing, and the employees friendly. On more than one occasion I’ve arrived just before closing when the employees are cleaning out the bakery case. I’ve always been greeted with a smile, and when I’ve apologized for coming in so close to closing and interrupting them, their protestations that it is really no bother have appeared genuine! Other than that — the products are the same as other Starbucks: latte’s mochas, frappacinos, teas, and bakery items. No surprises here, though this IS the location where I first discovered the salted caramel bars. That was a life changing moment for me, one for which I’ll be forever grateful! So stop in the next time you’re on the road. Fill up your gas tank and warm your insides with a custom prepared expresso drink. Have a salted caramel bar in my honor before you head out. You won’t regret it!

Admittedly, I am a little biased because I worked at this Starbucks for FOUR years! But now that I’m just customer there I can honestly say they are still the greatest around. They know all their regular customers names, especially through their über busy drive thru. They are generally very fast and their drinks are consistent. They go out of their way to make their customers feel good about their experience. And they take criticism well. All of the employees here are great at providing service with a smile! Keep it up guys!!!
