I started semi-​private lessons with Coach Jocel a few weeks ago. Not having played much since high school, I was rusty and looking to improve my form and technique. It was clear that Coach Jocel could help me with those things from our first lesson. We started back at the basics using his DMAIC instructions, which has given me the confidence and enthusiasm to get back on the court. His step-​by-​step method works!

I first started with Coach Jocel back in 2012. I stayed with him for a year and quit tennis for a while. Back then I was unfocused and not willing to commit. Now I’m about to go to high school and have started with Jocel again in May. I have improved so very much due to his teaching of DMAIC and am playing my first tournament in 3 years next week. At my high school’s tennis camp I am now playing with the returning girl instead of freshman and it’s all due to Coach Jocel. With him I am now confident I will make the tennis team so thank you very much!

Coach Jocel has given my daughter such an amazing jumpstart to her tennis career. In her first 6 months of playing, she has earned 6 trophies and is already ranked! What’s more impressive is, she accomplished this in such a short amount of time. Today I had the pleasure of watching her win her last Novice tournament and we were not expecting a win, she has been off for the past 3 weeks for vacation. However, as soon as she hit the court I could see how deeply engrained the fundamentals were, she defeated her opponents 6 – 1 and 6 – 0. The DMAIC system, created by Coach Jocel, works extremely well, and I could not be more happy.

Coach Jocel is a great coach and wants his athletes to be successful in tennis and in life. He has a genuine interest in knowing all of his athletes. His un-​divided attention to my son has given him the ability to go from complete novice to understanding the game and the mechanics. He enforces his DMAIC «Define, Measure, Analyze, Integrate, Control» approach to learning the basics. We look forward to continuing and refining my son’s skills. If you want to learn the game of tennis I recommend Tennis Aces and Coach Jocel.
