Great food. Prices are good. Staff is very nice. This place is a great quick sushi place. Love the crunch roll.

Good quick sushi, not the best but it’s not bad for lunch or for veggie rolls and noodles.

Bland and flavorless spicy tuna. Rice is just like regular rice. Maybe the worst sushi I’ve ever had besides the ones premade from costco.

Still on the fence with this place. Service has been good for sure. As for the food??? … Only the second time I have been there, and got the combo lunches. It was ok but… The need to give out a little more protein. The meat portion was way to small. Sushi rolls it taste a little fishy. Willing to give it another chance and hopefully a better rating.

The staff was friendly, and service was quick with preparing my food. I was impressed and happy at first, but when I got home and opened up the bag to dig in(take-out), it reminded me of Ralph’s sushi. In fact, it was worse than Ralph’s sushi. The taste was fine, but the rolls were the size of small marbles. For $ 9 a roll, I expected something at least a little filling, as other sushi bars in the area are extremely satisfying for a similar price. I finished the 2 rolls with my little brother which was nothing more than a snack. This place is great if you’re looking to snack or if you’re on a small portion diet, but I don’t recommend it otherwise. The staff is nice enough, which is why I added a star to my rating, but once again, tiny portions for an average price, go here with a snacking, quick/small portion mentality or you will be disappointed.

I eat here twice a month at least. Service is always quick and the food is pretty good. Simple clean food at a good price.

I come here almost everyday on my lunch break. A) I love the people that work here, they are always so friendly. B) I love their rolls. I get either the veggie roll or the avocado roll. Both are awesome. I see a lot of meat eaters getting the lunch bowls with orange chicken. It always seems to be busy here at lunch time, but you can always call your order in! C) I love that they make en effort to know me, they memorize my order and are already writing it down when they see me walk in. I also love their canned Japanese green tea. That is lovely. I’ve never had a bad experience here and will defiantly return.

Ordered sushi from here for the first time. Wow! For the prices it was so good! The best part was getting a free roll on them! That’s what you call great customer service. Keep it up!

I’m still in the middle of trying to determine the stars. I called, gave my address and was advised delivery was fine. My guests showed up, we tried to add onto the order and was advised I was actually out of the delivery range so they would take cook the additional order and deliver it. Fine. I ordered teriyaki«prawns»… feel free to see my picture to know what I received was not a prawn. The shrimp did not taste marinated long enough so I basically paid 9 bucks for the little shrimp u get at the grocery store in the bulk bag for 7 bucks. doused in teriyaki. There is a fishy after taste on these doggone shrimp! *sigh* Food wasn’t good. The delivery lady was nice though.

Cheap prices and great food. I work in the same shopping center and often struggle to find someone close and fast on a lunch break and Rolla always has my food out in under 10 minutes. The staff is very friendly, the place is clean, and the food is always great. The 4⁄5 stars is because they are closed Sunday’s(which is great for them but I always crave it those days of course!) and the parking lot sucks. Working in the same lot I know the struggle! But other than that I highly recommend!

I’ve done take out at Rolla Sushi a few times. They are fast and have GREAT customer service! Everyone is really, really nice and they are very pleasant and polite!!! And, they also throw in a free roll of sushi(I don’t know if they do this all the time, but so far I have gotten this perk a few times). The parking is great as well and prices are great! Lastly, the food is delicious!!! I love it! I would high recommend this place!!!

Location is good. No problem parking. I really wish the place was a bit bigger. Lunch specials are good and their sushi is delicious. They are open Monday thru Saturday and they take cash and debit/credit cards. Service was very quick and pleasant

Worst sushi we have ever had. The salmon Teriyaki looked like a small piece of dry unknown fish. The Almond Chicken has peanuts in it that were not good. Rice was super oily and has little flavor. Spend lots of money there and will not be ordering for there agin.

Lots of rice, minimal fish. I seriously do not understand how ya’ll got 4 stars out of this food… I’m seriously considering deleting Unilocal due to the poor judgement on this place. Someone owes me 30 bucks.

After watching Pitch Perfect 2 at a nearby theatre, Schoolteacher and I were both just a bit peckish. She’d heard good things about this place, and I was totally up for some sushi. We entered the place, and were both surprised at how full it was. We were warmly greeted as we approached the counter to order. As we stepped up, scanning the menus, my frugal eye caught the specials that were taped down to the counter in front of us. They listed a collection of both $ 3.99 items and $ 4.99 items. I proceeded to randomly pick out four items, two items from each list. Totalling just a bit under twenty dollars, both of us had a good assortment of bowl and roll items to eat as well as a drink. We received our cups, and filled them up while we waited for our food to come out, which wasn’t very long. Two bowls and two plates came out and were placed in front of us. We shared them between us as we talked about our plans for the rest of the day, and about the assorted upcoming events we had coming up in future weekends. The kung pao and orange chicken bowls were quite good. Bowls of rice topped with good amounts of their respectively seasoned chicken items. The egg rolls were also good, along with the california and ninja sushi rolls. Schoolteacher commented on both of the assorted sushi rolls as being really good. I also thought they were quite tasty. Both sushi plates came with all the sushi accoutrements. As we were eating, a small girl who was eating at the table next to us introduced us to her stuffed squirrel. Schoolteacher was exceptionally good at entertaining the small child for the few moments until her parent realized what was happening and politely re-directed her attention back towards her unfinished plate of dinner. After we finished eating, we were once again quite full. We sat at the table and chatted for a little while, and then we left the place quite contented. Ready to proceed onto our next adventure for the evening. Good job Rolla Sushi, we’ll most assuredly be back to try more items on your expansive and varied menu.

I’ve heard about this restaurant through all the good Unilocal reviews so I decided to finally try it out for lunch today. I walked in and it was pretty empty then again I came at 11:30, usually not that busy yet thank god. I ordered the Lunch special Letter k. I loved the salad! The orange and teriyaki chicken were definitely my favorite. Overall, I’m giving them a 4 because its a good small place that offers a lot of food for cheap prices. Cool spot to get a quick lunch.

Very fun with inexpensive but decent sushi! We didn’t try any teriyaki but had three rolls plus the free 6-piece California roll: Hawaiian, red dragon, and Philly. All were pretty good, the red dragon not too spicy but somewhat. The Philly roll, some bites had too much cream cheese. The Hawaiian definitely needs some wasabi on it! Service was friendly and helpful! We also had a mango boba drink and a Thai tea with boba, which were tasty, although the Thai tea is a weird orange color so we thought it was the mango at first! Edamame was a little dry but hey, it’s just an app. Will be back again if I can get a ride; I want to try the cheap lunch specials!

Quick, quality service in restaurant and speedy delivery! You never have to wait that long for takeout and getting it delivered is just like ordering a pizza — except better. The Volcano roll is the BEST. I also love the Orange chicken and blended Thai tea. Seriously one of the best family-owned, hole-in-the-wall sushi places in SCV. Love Rolla!

Tasty, lunch is cheap. Server is nice. Ramen is wavy noodle type, not fresh noodles with egg & meat type
