Magic Lock and Key

Refreshing experience. Locked out of our offices this morning due to an access system issue and no keys available. Was able to contact Rafi before 8AM was onsite in 20 minutes and the staff in and back to work in just a few minutes… couldn’t ask for better service!

Called rafi out again, this time to put the chain that goes across the door like they have In hotels to keep the toddler twins from opening the front door and garage door. Rafi is always very nice and professional. Don’t call anybody else for all your locksmith needs. I highly recommend him.

Here’s another 5 star review to add to the mix. One of my bedroom doors was accidentally locked and we don’t have a key for it. The bad thing is that a few of our dogs were also locked in the bedroom. Called Magic Lock & Key today and he was out at my house in about 15 minutes. He changed out the lock, gave me four keys and was done in I think under 20 minutes. I thought the price was very reasonable for coming out so quickly and having a new lock installed. I hope to never need a locksmith again, but if I do, this is the company I’m using.

I just moved into my new home and needed my locks changed. Called Raj and he was at my house within two hours. Great customer service and great pricing!

I’m keeping his information in my phone and recommending him to everyone. Friendly from the first phone call and showed up within a few hours. He worked quickly, efficiently, left NO mess, and was incredible with my dogs (anyone owning large animals knows this matters). Prices were very reasonable and he had great advice. I asked him if he could put an additional lock in (on a gate without one) and instead of selling me on something I didn’t need, he recommended I just put a padlock on (perfect for my situation and I feel foolish for not having thought of it) .

I locked myself out of my apartment because I’m a doof, and so the occasion called for Magic. Rafi was here about 20 minutes after I called, and he worked for a good half hour to pick the lock on my door before he finally drilled out the lock and made a new one (but with the same key). Even with replacing the lock barrel, he didn’t charge me extra which was awful nice. All in all, a great experience! I’m glad to be indoors and out of the cold!

Wanted to submit an update to my first review. Rafi ended up messaging me explaining his situation and apologizing for how he dealt with me. I know it takes a lot for people to admit when they have treated a customer poorly and for that I upgraded my rating from a 1 to a 3. I honestly couldn’t rate him higher than that just because of the initial experience.
Because I didn’t actually receive services I would ask people to make their own assessment of Rafi when you speak to him and actually have work done. Since he is a one man operation, I’d at least upgrade his review because he did message me and I do appreciate the gesture. He did provide a reference so I appreciate that at least.

I was in a real bind having locked myself out of the house. The poor pup and I were stranded in the garage (mind you I’m writing this in December). Raffi came to our rescue super speedily with good humor and a bright spirit. He worked quickly and helped us with a locked out contingency plan (not my first lock out but first locksmith experience). He is professional, kind and has all the tools you could ever need. Great person to have for those blue moon, rainy day, eff me!$&! kind of days.

Came within an hour and a half on the same day. Fast, friendly service, and even drove me back to my condo from the mailbox. Would definitely recommend!

Wow. Excellent service. I called very late to have all the locks in my home changed and Rafi was exceptional. He turned around after he had already closed for the day and delivered more than exceptional service. He changed everything quickly and best of all, it was inexpensive. Rafy is really helpful. I called him to re-​key one of my clients property. He got out of his way to help with some other stuff that he didn’t need to do. He is very resourceful and made himself available when I needed to. He stayed with is in the property until we resolved every issue. He is also very informative.

Raffi saved me a ton of money. I initially planned to physically change the locks of our new home. It was very expensive so I called Raffi and suggested to just rekey all my locks. He came to the house and got the job done! So efficient! I highly recommend him! He even has a key machine to duplicate your key in his van.

Wow. A locksmith with 65 reviews and 5 stars. Do I need to even write a review? Really all I need to say is that the rating is absolutely deserved. Polite, friendly, helpful, and came right away when I called him before 8am on a Saturday AND the price was more than fair.
It’s a silly thing but I have a major chip on my shoulder with locksmiths. Every experience I’ve had with them has been so unpleasant. I have always been price gouged by a rude person. I fully expected that and dreaded having to call when my door handle from before the beginning of recorded time stopped working and I was on the wrong side of it. I just got lucky enough to have this company pop up closest to me. I am actually in a good mood now instead of annoyed. SO super professional. He made what I expected to be a frustrating experience a pleasant one and even made me laugh. Kudos to him!

This is the 2^nd time Raffi comes to our rescue with short notice and reasonable prices. First time was after some vandalism when he rekeyed our home and today was for a lockout of a tenant who had not paid rent. Raffi waited patiently for the sheriff with me and then helped secure the property. He goes above and beyond each time. I highly recommend him.
