This company is a rip off! I had their mechanic shop try to perform a compression test on my 1976 Pontiac Lemans, instead the mechanic took it upon himself to tear the engine down, then decided to pull the transmission down dropping it in the process which cost me $600.00 just to have AAMCO pull it apart and check the components. They took a vehicle that needed a decent tune up and turned it into a carcass of a car. This place is unprofessional and the owners lack proper customer service skills.

Worst experience ever. AAA sent this company out to check my battery. Omid the technician lied to AAA and then made derogatory comments about me and my fiancé and then after the work was completed flipped us off as he drove away. I would never use this company again and if AAA continues to use them I will cancel my membership with them.

Warren literally saved my life. Very professional and helpful and kept both of our safety in mind couldn’t have had a better service provider. Really appreciate you getting me back on the road. Go Lions!

This company is a AAA contracted tow service who simply lies to the AAA dispatchers as to when they will be out to help a stranded motorist in order to keep the job so that it will not be turned over to another tow service so that they can keep all the monies. My truck transmission went out last night, but luckily I was able to pull off the 5 Freeway into a parking lot. I called AAA and was told that I was guaranteed service within an hour. I have the premium AAA card, that I have never used and have been a customer for 25 years. I was also told that I would get updated text as to an more accurate eta, but always told that it would be ONLY and hour. Needless to say, I sat in a dark parking lot from 11:15 pm to 12:15 pm with no update or call. I then called AAA and asked where my tow was. The agent was confused as to why I hadn’t received any information or text or why the driver was not there yet. She promptly call the tow service and got back to me with a new approximate time of 3 hours extra wait time. At that point I was pretty ticked off and told her just to forget it. THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED, THEY SHOULD NOT BE CONTRACTED WITH THE AAA, THEY ARE CHEATS, AND THE LOWEST FORM OF A COMPANY. THAT’S RIGHT YOU HAVE A CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION TO SHOW UP WHEN YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO. I will be sending a certified complaint to the AAA headquarters detailing what happened. I am luckily that what I do for a living helps with consumer actions and complaints with the state of California and so I will be pursing every option as to why a company should be allowed to put the safety of people on the backburner so they can monopolize all the business in one area. Shame on this company!

I’m a local. I called AAA. Lion’s came. f1– Chris in the office was great keeping me updated Warren driver was great. He was helpful and professional. I recommend them highly!!!

I had the best experience with this outfit yet! On ⁵⁄₂₇ I went to run errands. I drove a few feet, realized I forgot something in the house and turned the car off. When I came back the car would not start. Later it turns out ignition starter needs replaced.
Klyde was the first to come out. He was great. Very friendly and thorough. When he determined he could not get the car started he called for a tow truck. I told him I needed to get it to the gargage within the hour before they closed. He made it happen.
Then Martin shows up in the tow truck. He got out of the truck, came directly to me with a warm smile. Introduced himself and shook my hand. He had sound wonderful warmth. Once he got the car on the truck we dorve to the garage. Very friendly guy. We laughed alot.
I could not have asked for a better experience from either guy. I hope their boss sees this review. They are two great gems!

Don’t under estimate the value of air… they don’t. They also make prices up as they go. Called twice and got two different prices… all within an hour.

Used these guys to move a car twice this week. On each occasion they arrived when they were supposed to, and were pretty careful with the vehicle. They are AAA contractors and gave a reasonable (I think) cash discount when I had to move the vehicle again without using my AAA coverage. The guys I dealt with were Michael and Rahid. I’ll use them again when I have this vehicle moved to another shop.

This company will cheat you. Some of their drivers don’t do their jobs correctly and will take the money you give them (payments that AAA charges you for using Lions Towing) and pocket it. This company has a CFO that lies so much, he doesn’t even know what «truth» means. The only driver there who was awesome at was he does is gone now, but he’s the reason why I gave this review two stars. Be careful of the drivers there. Some of them aren’t careful when they load up cars. Be wary of a guy named Chris, though. Last time I saw him he looked really drugged out.

called triple a because i stupidly locked my keys in my car… for the fourth time.
guy came quick and was very nice. last time a guy from triple a hit on me and this guy just opened up my car, got my keys and was out of there. professional demeanor, knew how to do his job.

I’m reading many positive reviews. They were quick. The driver was prompt and initially helpful. Unfortunately, Mr. Mario became somewhat puffy after a simple question. I was surprised how he was addressing me. I ask him to leave and get me another driver. Lions never came. This call was through AAA, because Lions never responed they sent a differnt company after 3 hours. I would of given them a higher rating if they would of sent a second tow, and made it right. I found out the driver Mario had dispatch a lie to base my car was in a difficult spot and my tires were turned in. This is poor customer service. I think Lions should of came out and assessed the matter. To see both sides of the story. His and hers.

Lions responded to a AAA call when I had a flat tire. They responded quickly and the associate (I didn’t get his name!) was professional and courteous. Got my spare on in record time and got me on my way.

This company is AWESOME. Unfortunately I’ve needed them to tow my car and come to my resue… and more than once. Lions is contacted through my car insurance AAA and I could not be happier. They always have a great attitude and show up when they say they will. I appreciate your service… Thank you!

This time, my battery died. You didn’t judge, even though I’m pretty much your most loyal customer. You arrived with in 10 minutes of my call to AAA and gave my car a much needed jump quicker than I could explain what the issue was.
