RIP Inca Bistro. … Is no longer there. Officially closed down! :(

Cant say enough about this place. It is quite simple but out of this world. If you like lime with a little spice try the two sashimis and top it off with their civechie. It will knock your socks off. I may not be able to spell but who cares the taste will speak for itself.

I’m about to leave this restaurant and my husband and I enjoyed the food. I had the Arroz con Camarones the shrimp were cooked perfectly, delious. My. husband had the Jalea he doesn’t like alot of fried food but the seasonings were good. He loved the ceviche. The soup that comes with the meal was outstanding. It was a spicy chicken rice. Yummy. It’s hidden away in the strip mall, so don’t give up looking for it.

Awesome food! I went there with a buddy of mine who is actually Peruvian and according to him it’s as authentic as he’s ever had it and that he would be coming back with his family. I didn’t need him to tell me that to like it because the food is great (can’t go wrong with the Lomo Saltado)…service was great… and overall, I’m going back. The ONLY downfall they have is the location… if you’ve never seen it or specifically know where it is, it’s very easy to miss. It’s in the shopping center, on the southwest corner of Copper Hill and Bouquet… from there, you literally have to walk back past all the shops that line the front of the complex (you stare at Copper Hill from the restaurant). The food is well worth the exploration for the first-​time customers.

Agreed that it is a little hidden. You can see the sign from the street but it is the last one along the sidewalk but once you enter you will find a great place to eat.
The soup was great. peppery and just plain yummy. Great dipping suace for the bread. Sort of a spicy chimmy/​pesto type thing. I loved the ceviche. My daughter didn’t. I had the stuffed mushroom. amazing. She had the beef milanese. a bit odd having italian food in a peruvian joint but it was great also. Her rice was yummy as well. I ordered the leche coffee. TRY IT!

I went here for the first time yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised. It always seemed that no one ever goes to this restaurant so I was a little wary of going here, but after reading reviews on here I decided to give it a try. It was a nice environment and nicely decorated. The waitress was very nice and welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the food and any questions I had.
Being that I’m a vegetarian, it’s usually harder for me to find foods that are accommodating to my lifestyle, but they were very helpful in finding something that suited my needs, and in in fact have a vegetarian section in the menu.
The food was delicious and plentiful, I took some home and left very full and pleased with my meal. I have already been telling people about this restaurant, it’s definitely worth a try, and the food was amazing.

We loved this place. The restaurant had a warm décor. The soup had a nice bite to it. Hubby had tenderloins dish described below and the meat juices soak in to the french fries – to die for! I had the chicken in Peruvian spices/​parmesan sauce. Yummy. We also splurged on appetizer and recommend the shrimp won-​ton-​y things (they are really more like fish sticks but really good!)
The service was good (Aleksandra). She told us it is slow during the week but with the live music on the weekends it is very busy. Hope they stay in business, this place is awesome.

This was my first time at Inca Bistro. It is probably 2 miles from my house. I really liked the way it looked when I first walked in– contemporary Peruvian décor (if there is such a thing!) tablecloths and soft lighting. We sat down around 6:30 on a friday night and there was only one other table occupied. They had a duet playing cool latin jazz-​a guitar and piano… It was so nice and gave a romantic feel to the restaurant. Little by little the place started filling up with couples and families. The outside terrace looked appealing and there were some guys out there drinking and smoking cigars. The server was very friendly and wanted to make sure we understood everything on the menu. We started with an unexpected cup of soup which was a light chicken vegetable-​very good. I got tacu chicken Milanesa with peruvian fried rice and beans. The fried rice and beans was not at all what I expected. It was a very big serving of rice and beans mixed together, molded and deep fried– interesting… It also came with marinated onions which really added alot of flavor. My husband had a seafood dish with shrimp, calamari, and mussels. He loved it.
The ambiance was so comfortable with the music, the service, and alot of happy customers. We began talking to the couple next to us, noting that it must be cute kid night (as all the kids in the restaurant were so cute and happy and well behaved) — Hi Trevor and Lori! They were so sweet and gave me a taste of their crème brûlée.
It’s so nice to finally have a neighborhood bistro in the area. A very pleasant dining experience!

We have been here 3 – 4 times and will keep coming back. Lomo Saltado is a Peruvian dish done very well – strips of steak on a bed of rice and fries with onions. Tasty on its own, but even better if you add some of the cilantro sauce they give you with the bread – that stuff is DYNAMITE – a tad spicy, and very addictive. I always make sure I have that sauce in large quantities at the table as it is amazing. A chicken and rice dish in a yellow sauce (aji de gallina) is also very tasty. Tonight we had the dessert for the first time and both the Peruvian ice cream and cookies were delicious. We topped it off with an excellent bottle of Malbec (only $ 23) – I just do not understand why more people do not come to this place. They also have musical entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings. The place is spacious, with a nice patio, and you can actually carry on a conversation at your table. Generally the place is a bargain, as the most expensive entrée is only $ 15! So skip Stuart Andersons or Macaroni Grill or one of the many chain restaurants that proliferate in the Santa Clarita valley, and try a unique restaurant with real character!

Ate here alone last week after getting home from a long camping trip.
Décor is warm and nice, but not formal. A tad more upscale (in terms of the vibe than I was expecting.)
I met the owner and asked him to recommend something, which was a dish of beef tenderloin strips, with grilled onions and tomatoes, served over french fries.
Not bad… likely something that I’ll get a craving for in the future, that is, if they survive. The place always looks empty…

I was a bit concerned by the weak reviews for Inca on Unilocal but after trying their food at the 2010 Taste of the Town in Valencia I decided to give them a shot. Never had Peruvian food and it was interesting to hear how the waitress described it as a combination of Asian (fried rice?), American (Angus Burgers?) and Latin American, I was a bit concerned. No need. The rolls were your standard warm rolls that while decent, seemed to have come out of a pack of dough bought at Costco rather than made on site. It came with a green dipping sauce that added some unique flavor instead of just using butter. That was the only mediocre item of the meal. Everything else was great. The soup was a chicken vegetable with a little spice kick to it but not too much. My entrée (I forget the exact name) was a seafood dish with a slightly fried filet of fish topped with calamari, shrimp and mussels and a flavorful but not spicy yellow sauce. Rice was served on the side. This was a good call because a lot of the items are served on top of french fries and I really wasn’t in the mood for that. Service was excellent and waitress was happy to explain all the unique offerings since I’m sure a lot of people have no idea what Peruvian cuisine is like. Would definitely return for happy hour to try some of the Peruvian beers and their Ceviche and other apps that I passed on this go-​around.

Located in the corner of strip mall between Seco Canyon and Copper Hill. Dining at night the insides of the restaurant looks nicely lit. Spoke to the owner and her son. Going on the 4^th month since opening.
I was really hungry and usually everything tastes good when your hungry right? I ordered the Saltado De Polo. Chicken strips with flambeed tomatoes, onions, over french fries with rice.
Unfortunately it was bland. French fries soggy. Chicken was moist but tasteless. So to say the lest «Meh. I’ve experienced better» Two stars. Next time I’m feeling Peruvian food. I’m driving further to the other Peruvian restaurant.

This place had great authentic food and lovely presentation. They don’t yet have their liquor license, so bring your own wine. They offer a surprisingly good selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes, so almost anyone in your group will be happy!
Prepare for a bit of a wait. When we went, the kitchen was a bit slow, but, with the right appetizer and a bottle of wine, you pass away time quickly enough. They really aim to please there. I am definitely telling my veggie friends.

This is the first time I ate at Inca Bistro in Santa Clarita. I wasn’t sure what Peruvian food was all about. I liked the décor, with table cloths and photos of Peru all around. Very fast and friendly service. I happen to be a vegetarian… and I was pleased to discover that they had options for me for each course. I really liked the Potato and Cheese appetizer, the Sweet Pepper Salad, and the Refried Rice and Beans is very unique and tasty… almost like a dessert! In fact, their rice pudding dessert was made just right, not too sweet, but richly flavored. Highly recommend both for vegetarians and meat eaters. Reasonable prices for higher quality food. I’d rate this place as one of the best restaurants in Santa Clarita. I plan on bringing my wife there for a romantic candle-​lit dinner soon.

So I’m supposed to join a group for dinner at a new local eatery. After all was said and done our group went from 8 down to 3. Ahh well!
Being a fan of foods from central and south America I was stoked to hear about the new Peruvian joint! When we walked in we were immediately greeted by the owner who escorted us to our table. This being only their second night opened they had a limited menu, as they seem to be experimenting. We ordered a variety of items on the menu, Peruvian Fried Rice, Lomo Saltado, Filet Mignon and the Ceviche Appetizer. Overall opinion on the meal was pretty consistent, the dinner rolls seemed like a poor accompaniment to the meal, and the soup that was served was a bit bland. The problem with our meals was not the quality of the ingredients but the execution. The Chinese/​Peruvian fried rice didn’t appear to have any Peruvian influences, the Lomo while I liked the flavour was served cold. The owner spent some time chatting us up explaining some of the finer points of the dishes and spices that were used in Peruvian Cuisine, it was easy to see that he takes great pride in his restaurant, and for this I am expecting a lot of growth. The ambiance of the restaurant is much nicer than many of my other haunts, which would make this a nicer place to take the wife. And if I’m being honest the high price point also didn’t match the food on the table.
Reviewing a business on opening night is always tough, but I liked what I saw and I’ll definitely be back. 3*s cause I haven’t given up quite yet!
