Ice Boxx hello and goodbye. This place replaced shave it which was a well run business with a great product. We gave ice Boxx a try this weekend and I have never been more disappointed in my life. We got their s’mores plate for 4 which for $ 20 comes with one Hershey’s chocolate bar. The fire want out so quickly that he didn’t get a chance to heat half of the marshmallows. The real kicker is that the entire store is being run by one person on a Saturday night. Don’t get me wrong the young lady was very good at her job but there was no way she could offer service to number of people waiting. This same shop was always staffed with 4 to 6 people on weekend nights when run by the previous owners. She was so outnumbered that we felt bad for her and it was difficult to get her attention through all the others waiting. Whoever owns this place should put on an apron and go to work before you run off all of the customers. The only good thing about this place is that their sign is made out of vinyl. So it won’t be too difficult to cut it down and roll it up when the doors close for good in a few months. Such a shame. I really wanted to be a loyal customer.

Ice cream is terrible. It’s supposed to be creamy. There’s was icy and sticky. Probably was past its expiration date.

Went in the other day and had a «fuzzy monster» I believe it was called. A blue vanilla flavor with cookies and cream ice cream. Anyways, I just wish the ice cream tasted better. You can tell it wasn’t made with Oreo cookies. It just left a bad knockoff after taste

Great customer service. Though they’re just 2 working. Both of them are working hard to make everyone’s order as fast as they can. Lines are all the way out the door. Just have patience since they only have 2 hands. Good job!

I had a groupon for four and went with my 17 years old and my 3 years old. Love the ambience and the location. My 3yo was indecisive, so the nice attendant gave us half/half options, so we had m&ms and chocolate chips. It is a different experience and we left satisfied and with sticky hands! I did find the regular price(18.99) too expensive, but the attendant was very accomodating!

This is for the s’mores only. I bought this on a Groupon because I thought I was buying a wonderful experience. The picture has this nice open flame with marshmallows against a dark warm background — sounds romantic, no? Perception is everything!!! This is actually a shaved ice store that offers the s’mores. So, what I thought I was buying, and what I pitched to my husband for date night, was something like a nice, dimly lit dessert place at a table similar to the hibachi tables as Korean bbqs, with the condiments nicely laid out. Instead, it was in a shaved ice store with chairs and tables that were all lop-sided. We got graham crackers from Smart and Final(but at least they were fresh), the toppings(caramel and fudge) were swirled into a tiny cup and difficult to get out without getting the sticky stuff all over the place. The other toppings were just candy bars… like big candy bars in a package(my hubby brought his home for a future snack). There was something about the presentation that was just blah. The«cooker» sits on the tray and actually burned out after a very short while. This impacted any experience that I thought we were going to have because we had to have the girl relight it. It was good only for a sugar rush, but I could have gotten that from downing a candy bar. Good thing I got a really good Groupon deal($ 9 for $ 7), but even a good deal was too much to pay. We will not be returning here.

This review is ONLY for the S’mores. There is a groupon available now for these. Skip it. Its total shtick and bad shtick at that. S’mores for 2, gives you 4 graham crackers from Smart and Final. 4 kraft marshmallows, a hershey chocolate bar(still in the wrapper), a tiny bit of sauce and another topping(all ready made packaged toppings). You get this wood tray that looks like it came from a garage sale, along with a can of sterno and some other contraption. This was not special and not gourmet and they should be ashamed of themselves charging what they are charging for this crap.

S’mores, what’s not to love? Well… There’s a Groupon you can purchase for 2 or 4 s’mores. Your s’mores experience will not look like the picture shown on the Groupon. It’ll be less like you’re camping and more like you’re in your kitchen.
