Dropped in a couple of weeks ago… had heard about this shop, read the reviews here. Not disappointed the first time thru! Very clean and roomy! The lounge appeared comfortable, although frankly, I have never availed myself of any lounge or smoking area in a cigar shop… Very roomy, well organized humidor, with big windows, which is a great security factor. The sticks appeared to be pretty much all upper end stuff, which is right in my wheelhouse… I buy my working stock of ceegars on line, just can’t touch the prices in a brick and mortar, BUT, I do like to patronize our local B&Ms frequently for those special treats… and they are here aplenty! The owner, Kyle, was very engaging and friendly, appeared knowledgeable, and when I get the four sticks smoked that I bought at that time, I WILL be back for more!

Nice spot, right outside the mall. Prices are competitive with most other brick and mortar shops in LA county. One plus, if you’re hanging out smoking, they offer free complimentary sodas. No else is bringing that level of service! I will be back!

This place was great! New to town, NEED OUR CIGARS…
So we went here (Sister & Brother in Law recommended)
At first they were busy moving into their new location when we walked in (I understand this was a unique situation so I understand) and eventually we got their attention, a great selection of cigars and some needed accompaniments.
Kyle was very knowledgeable and polite. Will definitely go back. My husband is most excited for me to go shopping so he can sit in the cigar shop, smoke and wait… it’s the perfect setting!!!

This appears to be a nice comfortable cigar lounge in the mall area. I needed Boveda Humidification Packs, which the store I usually go to was out of. Since I was rushing to get to an event, I didn’t realize that they charged me almost double the retail price for these. It kind of bugged me that they would rip me off by so much, The amount was rounded up without tax being calculated and dropped in drawer. Of course there was no receipt. I’d guess plenty of items are sold here without sales tax being paid.
The overcharge was worth about two lattes. Since I felt screwed, I returned them the next day. To their credit, no questions were asked and they gave me my dollars back. They also could care less that I mentioned, I was charged almost twice the retail price. It would seem there is no interest in having a satisfied customer and they didn’t care how much they overcharged me. I guess that’s business as usual for Genuine Cigars. I won’t be going there again.

Anyway, this place is so close to being a special haven, except… no pipe tobacco. I understand though, in order to keep stuff fresh and of high quality there has to be a huge turnaround for it. Not too man people smoke pipes.
I did have an off experience. Some wide load POS standing right in front of me as I’m trying to watch the TV. Been there over an hour at this point. I’m not invisible. There it was, big massive arse in face. He musta’ sense my seething anger before he turned around and looked at me. I point my thumb in a direction to amscray out of eyeline. His response «you watching that?» No fuckface, you’re wide can is far more entertaining than «Iron Man» on Spike TV. «you gotta speak up.» No…“sorry”, no «excuse me», no «my bad.» Just… it’s obviously my problem and not his. Next time… burning end goes in buttock.

I’m updating my review because since my last, they’ve added a bunch of furniture that greatly improves the atmosphere. The prices are still a bit high, but not outrageously so.

I had a few minutes to kill while the wife was in the mall so I did what any red-​blooded American man would do, I left her to her business and dashed to Genuine Cigars for a brief stint with the boys. I was recommended an Arturo Fuentes Short Story and my only regret was that it didn’t last long. Will have to make a mental note of that for the future. They have good deals here. One really good deal they have is if you buy three select cigars, you get he fourth one free. The place is big and well ventilated. I highly recommend it!

Kyle just moved and opened up a brand new shop and lounge by the mall in Valencia. I’m not sure what the past reviews are, but Kyle is very knowledable and has been in the business for many years. Great selection of premium cigars and great place to enjoy a smoke!

My fiancé smokes cigars. and today he came home from his usual weekly cigar «date» with the guys. complaining that the management of this place laughed at him when he mentioned to them that his cigar was dry. He goes there because they have a good selection, at okay prices. he says they’re high. but he still goes because they have a good atmosphere. today however he had a dry cigar that he didnt even finish and went he mentioned it to the guy running the store the guy gave him attitude and was a jerk to him…
Looks like its time to find another cigar shop.
