Great service! We were welcomed right away and given all the information needed. We then had a great time selecting and cutting our Christmas tree. Very reasonable prices.

Minus a star because they should have told us when we called that there are basically no good trees if you want to cut one down yourself. It looked like someone was trying to remake A Charlie Brown Christmas in that lot. (The drought prevented them from watering this year.)
However, they are very nice and their regular trees were good (and more expensive) so we ended up buying a regular tree.

We have been going here for 15 yrs. Tree prices r worth the quality, service, and conversation. The owner and his sons r so kind. They sell trees that our Church, OLPH, displays on the altar. Frosty is now selling 3 kinds of fire wood. This place is so much better than the box stores. There is a $ 5 off coupon thru Unilocal when u check in at Frosty. Go see Frosty!!!

Always the best trees and customer service at any tree lot. They even offer hot chocolate! We’ve been coming to this lot since we lived in the area. Minus the few years we went with a fake tree. We’ll be back!

Best tree finding experience yet!
After going to 3 separate lots to find a reasonably priced small tree for our apartment, we finally stumbled across this one. Located in Newhall, this giant tree lot has everything! Small, big, fat, skinny, stumpy. Fresh cut and living. Trees you can chop down yourself! Wreaths, poinsettias.
Nick immediately greeted us as we walked in, and told us to feel free to let my little doggie I brought roam the lot. He explained their prices and answered all of our questions. We roamed the lot with our doggie and settled on one of their small precut trees with a stand for $ 25. Love it! We had just came from Bennet’s Best on Bouquet and they were charging $ 40 for the same thing!
They even walked the tiny tree out to our car for us. This is definitely my go-​to Christmas tree lot!

We got a beautiful little 4 foot tree (pre-​cut) with a stand for $ 25. It was just the right size and probably nicer than what we would have gotten at the store, but with the experience of a festive tree farm. The friendly staff made the experience fun as well.

First off, in my 42 years of life, we have never cut our own trees. I always hear my grandmothers voice, during Christmas, that she cut her own trees or rather… my great grandfather did back in Europe.
This past Saturday, my beau took us to a place called Frazier Park-​Mt. Pinos but before we went, we stopped at an eatery called «Jimmy Dean’s». The entire experience was not what I had expected nor my mom who joined us with our 9 year old. On the way up to Frazier, I saw a sign «cut your own tree»…
We arrived at Frazier Park and we all climbed out of the car, the chill in the air, ice in the floor which were covered with pine needles and the smell of nature and seeing Nobles mixed with Douglas… got me thinking.
On the way back, we stopped at the tree cutting farm and my mother, cut her own tree with my daughter and myself while my beau kept the cart close by. Us three women, felt my grandmothers presence as we sawed the tree down… it was by far the most amazing experience. Something us three girls will remember for a long time. So, to my Oma… I hope you are looking down and smiling down on us as you always have.
We will be back to do this again. It’s not a Grand Fir nor a Noble but, it’s about the experience.

Incredible experience! These guys love what they do and are just happy to help get you exactly what you’re looking for. Found our first family tree today and we could have had a better time! Bring the family~ highly recommend!

Trees looked a little beat up and brown this year.

I am giving this place a solid 5 stars, because for what it is, it is as good as it gets. This year was our second venture into the world of real trees, and was a much better experience than the first.
We were the first customers in the parking lot right when they opened, and were treated like VIPs. Before we were even halfway out of our car, Nick welcomed us to their lot. He was super friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. At the same time, he was not overly pushy, and did not seem like he was fake, or just trying to make a sale. In fact, after he told us all we needed to know, he politely stepped back and let us do our thing…
This year, our «thing», was picking out and cutting down our own tree. Last year, we did the former, but stayed away from the latter. Last year was less fun, and much more expensive. This time, we got a larger tree, for about half the price as last year’s. We were not in any rush, and walked the length of the farm before deciding on «the» tree. Sawing it myself was not as difficult as I thought it would be, and was also quite entertaining for my wife and son (who both watched, laughed, and did not help even a little bit).
Price wise, we were quoted $ 59.95 for any size tree we wanted, so long as we did the cutting. After a «shaking and netting» fee, and tax, we ended up spending just under $ 70.00. Assuming the tree lasts until Christmas, this price was more than fair and much cheaper than what we spent last year at a different lot.
Overall, the entire experience took about an hour, and was as good as it (this) gets from start to finish. I plan to make this an annual tradition, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for not just a tree, but a fun experience.

Went to Frosty’s last night and had a great experience. We were greeted warmly and given a cup of hot cocoa while shopping for our tree. We looked in their $ 45 cut your own tree lot, but ultimately decided it was too cold, dark and too much work for us. We ended up picking a beautiful 7 ft noble fir and they had it wrapped and tied to our car within a few minutes. The price was higher than what we’ve paid at Home Depot in past years, but totally worth the little extra money for the quality of trees they have and excellent service. We will be returning to Frosty’s in future years.

Frosty’s forest is so FUN!!! And well worth the little bit extra they charge for a tree! Nick, the supervisor, spent extra time helping us select the perfect tree and even offered us hot chocolate! You can cut down your own tree here if you want as well!!! It is our family’s NEW TRADITION!!! :)

It’s been 14 years since we cut down a Christmas Tree. I checked Unilocal and many good reviews came up for Frosty’s. I went with the whole family last night and it was a wonderful experience. Price was great $ 45 for any tree to cut down.
Service was great! We spoke met the manager Nick last night and he and his crew of little elves helped us out and did a fantastic night. We decided he is our Saint and we will call him… Saint Nick!

After reading many reviews for many farms I decided to go to Frosty’s Forest. I have to admit, my family and I were well received by a person by the name of Nick. He was extremely helpful and the team that worked there made my christmas tree buying a truly memorable experience. I totally recommend buying from this family owned business. I will definitely be going again next year. Thanks guys!

Did a drive by to see what kind of trees they have. Cute little place where you can cut down your own!

I’ve been going here since I was a kid and am sentimental for the Montery Pine. That scent is amaaazing and they’re so wild looking and I always feel some deep respect for nature’s sacrifice as I hack one down! and they stay fresh in the home for sooo long! seriously — if you want to be a little wild and different and be the only one on your block with one of these-​go to Frosty’s.

I’ve lived in the SCV since ’95 generally as a student or a young parent — so budget is always an issue. We went to Frosty’s years ago and never returned, due to the price.
After several years of poor quality trees at Home Depot and the «pop-​up» tree farms at crazy prices — I went back to Frosty’s as a last ditch effort to not spend $ 50+ on a tree. It was 2 weeks before Christmas, and they had a TON of trees — healthy, green, and a lot of great prices (on all size trees). The Noble Fir, however, were priced at a premium — as high or higher than anywhere else, I think.
I brought home a great tree that the family loved, at a lot less than I expected, and supported a local business. Note to the buyer: they even load the tree into your truck for you — but by the look on their faces after loading the tree, I think those guys may work for tips. You may want to bring a few dollars for these helpful gentlemen — it was definitely worth it, in my opinion.

Pick your own tree. $ 45 for anyone of any size. That’s right, any big ass tree you want — so long you can get it in your vehicle.
I come from a family where putting up the Christmas tree means climbing into the attic and getting it down in three pieces. It was the only time of year where I cherished my half Jewish side. Just light the god damn candles and call it a night.
However, this pop up magical forest kinda gave that ol’ Christmas spirit. I was marveled at this whole process. Especially the tree shaker that jostled all of the excess thistles and dirt. They’ll fresh cut it for free and tie is up for $ 2. No brainer. Then they’ll load it into your vehicle. You don’t even have to touch the thing till you get home.

This tree lot is directly behind my new house, so I thought it’d be good to support local small business instead of going to Home Depot for my tree.
First off, they have signs on the Lyons exit of the 5 indicating they have trees for $ 45. This trees are 6−7″ Monterey Pines, which, as Christmas Trees, leave something to be desired.
The Noble fir (the classic christmas trees), come from Oregon, and at a decent 6 – 7 feet, were $ 65. Ugh. More than I wanted to pay consdering I was in a $ 45 mindset. I was also floored by the fact that some trees run $ 200±- I guess I had little concept of what a tree should cost.
I settled for a 4−5″ Noble for $ 45. The fresh cut and bag the trees, which is always a plus. They load it in your car– so the service was pretty nice.
Anyways, except for a little bait and switch on the pricing, I enjoyed shopping here.

We’ve been getting our trees here since we’ve been here. You can get Noble or Douglas pines shipped in or cut your own Monterey pine. Ordinarily I’d give them 5 stars, but the dude at the cash register was such a sourpuss this year! Am I really supposed to believe they couldn’t find a teen still brimming with Festivus cheer and hope for the future looking for a seasonal job out here?
