We at Evolve Hair and Nail Spa embody a relaxing atmosphere with semi-​private rooms and free Wi-​Fi. Our hair care services include Brazilian Blowouts, Hair Extensions, Color Correction, and Precision Haircuts. Our highly trained esthetician specializes in acne facials, chemical peels, micro dermabrasion, full body waxing, as well as eyelash extensions and perming. We also offer permanent makeup and nail design which include manicures, pedicures, acrylic nails, and custom nail art.

History

Established in 2010.

Evolve Hair and Nail Spa is newly established; however, this is the second salon the owner has established in the Santa Clarita Valley.

I graduated from Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica in 1986 and I have worked in the hair care industry for over 20 years as both a stylist and salon owner. After all those years I can honestly say that I still really like what I do. My specialties include color correction, weaves, full color, hair extensions, Brazilian Keratin re-​constructive treatments (aka: Brazilian Blowouts) and curly hair.

I continually participate in advanced training, learning new leading edge techniques and evolving trends in the beauty industry. Making sure people are happy and content with their hair is my number one goal. I would be happy to talk and consult with you regarding options for your personal hair type.

I love Evolve Hair! Suzie is totally pro, and always friendly. The salon is relaxed and comfortable. Suzie does my color and cut, and — a few times a year, a Brazilian Blowout. My hair always looks and feels great. Suzie will adjust my color for the season to make sure it looks lustrous and shiny all year round. She’s also a champion networker. Just ask — she probably knows someone who does what you need. Evolve is all about great service and great hair!

Suzie was wonderful with my 17 year old daughter, both personally and professionally. My daughter has long, extremely curly hair and I’ve tried to find a stylist from here to Santa Monica who could tame her locks. :) Suzie really listened, added subtle highlights and layers to give her a healthy, natural head of hair, which looks fabulous. Being extremely picky, my daughter has often left a salon in tears. Not this time! Thanks Suzie.

Suzie is great! I e-​mailed her, as well as a few other salon’s trying to find out information on the Brazilian Blowout. Suzie’s information was by far the most informative. I also liked that she wasn’t in the least bit pushy, she just wanted to give me the correct information about the different types of Blowout’s that were available so I could make an informed decision. I liked how upfront she was. I’ve received «Brazilian Blowout’s» in the past that didn’t last and it’s a lot of money to pay for something that doesn’t work.
I went to Suzie and tried the Marcia Teixteira Blowout from her. Her salon does two others (Cadiveu and the original Brazillian Blowout) and I decided to try this one based on internet research and the information Suzie provided me. I LOVE it! It’s only been about two weeks, but I’m very happy. My hair is straight, flat irons in about 5 minutes and looks healthy. The pricing at the Salon is very reasonable. I’ve spend more at other places and initially my hair takes a lot longer to straighten and then the blowout has fallen out completely after less than a month. I HIGHLY recommend Suzie and her salon. Suzie is very friendly and the other stylists seemed to be as well. She properly did the treatment without any irritation and I know she didn’t skimp on the product (as other salon’s do). She also trimmed my hair and it looks very nice.
I may try the Cadiveu next time, just to compare (will post update). Also I think you can wash your hair right away with that treatment. Luckily for me, I found something that actually works on my hair. As long as it continues to stay like this, I am thrilled with the Marcia Teixteira treatment.
