I have been going to Dr. Tanner and his staff for years and I appreciate how they run their business. Everyone is friendly and nice and they are always on time. I left my last dentist after waiting for 30 minutes in the reception area and then another 20 minutes in the dentist chair. I have never waited more than two minutes at Dr. Tanners. By the way Carol is my hygienist and she is awesome! She starts by tickling your neck and finishes by giving you a toothbrush. Thanks Carol!

Dr. Tanner and Dr. Edwards have both worked on me and they are both incredibly thorough and all the work has been virtually painless.

Dr. Tanner and his team are wonderful. We’ve been seeing them for 20+ years, and everyone from the office staff to the hygienists to Dr. Tanner himself are warm, professional, and just top notch. Appointments are always punctual — max wait is ~5 minutes. Their work is great, always having the latest technology and techniques. I can’t recommend them enough!

Great, friendly staff. However, ASK, because they won’t tell you, if they accept delta dental. They do, but are NOT in network with them. What does this mean for you? You pay for everything out of pocket. To put it in perspective, I paid more for a dental visit for me and my husband than I did when I had SURGERY for breaking 4 bones in my foot. Lesson learned and won’t be back.

I broke my tooth at eight o’clock at night. By nine that same evening, Dr. Tanner had already arranged for an oral surgeon and an appointment with him first thing the next morning. I had a bone graft, implant, and new tooth by noon the following day.
Dr Tanner always goes the extra mile for his patients, and I am very grateful and pleased with his professional staff and excellent dental work.

I recently underwent a series of dental procedures at another local dentist (everything from fillings, crowns, extractions) and was very unhappy with the experience I had. I began the search for a dentist I could truly trust to do a good job with creating my new teeth. I was referred to Dr. Tanner by my oral surgeon who told me that «Dr. Tanner does a great job». I am so glad I listened to him. Helen (and Delores) in Dr. Tanner’s front office should be studied by any business that wants to know about real customer service. Every single member of their staff is professional, knowledgable and friendly. Dr. Tanner explains every step of your procedures to you ahead of time. He delivers exactly what he promises. He was able to see me in a very timely manner and my end results (my new teeth) look and feel great. I am so grateful for finding this office. The best in SCV!

I’ve been going to Dr Tanner for over 10 years and he is awesome. I have recommended him to all my friends and family and they are very pleased with him as well. I have had some bad experiences with previous dentists, and since I’ve been with Dr Tanner I have not had any issues, whatsoever. When you walk into his practice, you are greeted by the most professional staff; it doesn’t have that «dental office atmosphere». His office is in a gorgeous, spacious, well– lit, Victorian– looking building, yet is ultra modern with the latest technology and immaculately clean. It has a relaxed vibe, cool music, big windows with lots of trees to look out of while you are getting your dental work done. I think this helps ease that dental «angst“one generally has initially. His staff is outstanding: professional, competent, very personable. I get the same dental hygienist, Carol, every 6 months for my cleaning and absolutely love her. Dr Tanner is a perfectionist in his dental work, and an artist cosmetically-​speaking; my teeth look beautiful and I get a lot of compliments on them. He also is a dentist who will not do unnecessary work; I used to get anxiety when I’d go to other dentists for a check — up, as they always invariably seemed to find some reason to do more dental work than was necessary. Not with Dr Tanner. He is the best.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Tanner since 2000. I absolutely love them. The front office, Dolores and Helen, are so incredibly sweet. Obviously since I have been going to them for so long, they always remember me and ask me how everything is. I love how sweet they are. Even if i moved across the country, I’d make sure to come back for my regular cleanings :)

If you ever want to go to a dentist where they make you feel like you are part of the family then this is the place to go. What a great group of people and all of them have a smile on their face. Dr. Tanner is the leader and he leads by example. I was going to this other dentist that would make me wait even though they were not that busy. The last straw was eating in the lobby and then I had to wait in the chair and 45 minutes after my appointment tarted I left without anyone seeing me. I have never waited even 5 minutes for the Tanner team. They are knowledgeable, courteous, smart, interesting, classy and the list goes on. I would put out a special yay for Carol, but they are all great!

The Best Dentist in the Santa Clarita Valley. I have in the past had very bad experiences with Dentists until meeting Dr. Tanner and his friendly and knowledgeable staff. For the first time in my life I am pleased with my smile and don’t fear going to the dentist. He always makes sure that I am comfortable and understand what procedure is need and why in a language and manner I can understand. He is also amazing at working within my budget and my insurance plan. One of the things I really respect about Dr. Tanner is that he cares for the community and the environment. His building not only has state of the art medical equipment but is also solar powered and highly energy efficient.

David and his team have been taking care of me and my family since I moved to Santa Clarita 15 years ago. Thank-​you, David!!! I don’t think it’s just the great care of my teeth but feeling like we are walking into a family of friends. That feeling is only magnified by the beautiful building that David’s office is in. Dr. Tanner and his entire staff are the most friendly professionals in all of Santa Clarita. My hygienist, Lisa, is especially good and very thorough!!! I love getting my teeth cleaned here!!! I recommend them to everyone!!!

My husband, a LAFD Fire Chief, has high standards. He chose Dr. Tanner because he is a USC dental school graduate, his work is top notch, his fees are comparable to other private dentists in our area and the office staff keeps up with their continuing education. Not one to accept anything less on the job or off, my husband has plenty in common with Dr. Tanner. I bet most people would feel the same once they visit Dr. Tanner. Ethics matters.

David A. Tanner’s dentist office is one of the nicest buildings in the area. I will tell you why. He has built a entire building named after himself on the backs of his patients. He charges far more than other dentists in the area. You will not be advised of how much more until you get the bill. He may be an «OK» dentist (ask other dentists), but you are definately paying for the «flash». He is friendly, but I want a good dentist at a fair price. Remember your insurance only covers so much. A dentist can charge what he/​she wants. There are definately better dentists at a much lower price in the Santa Clarita Valley. The WORST part is the billing. If you are even a few days late on a bill, you will get the next bill with «RED MARKER» circling your total. I AM NOT A CHILD IN SCHOOL. I CAN READ MY BALANCE WITHOUT RED MARKER, THANK YOU.

Very pleased! I’ve been to five dentist over the past ten years or so and he is by far the best. The staff were nice and knoledgeable and no pushy sales to try to up sell me on anything that I didn’t need. Very professional.
