Super expensive and not good at all. :(My Thai tea tasted super watered down(it wasn’t even the right color, it was a very pale salmon pink) and it was $ 5.60 for the large size. My friends got fruit teas and said they didn’t taste good either. I was excited to try out this place as there’s very little boba places in the mall, but it’s just another let down.

Super expensive($ 5.35 for a Jasmine Milk Tea Boba). Tastes watered down. Totally not worth it. Wish I had read reviews before buying.

If I could give this place a no star I would. Came with my bestfriend to get a pearl drink and a waffle… The young lady that rang us up was pleasant. After getting our drinks from her she leaves and this young asian guy then hands me my burnt waffle and walks away. I asked this young lady that was sitting in the corner(that was high off her ass) if they could make another one. I’m guessing she didn’t actually worked there but just visiting her boyfriend that did. Then I asked him(which was also high off his ass) if I could get another one that wasn’t burnt to crisp. He then gives me a dirty look and snatched the waffle out of my hands and throws it into the garbage all pist off. Wtf! Wow I don’t even know how he got hired. By that point I just wanted my money back and didn’t want a fucken waffle. Worst experience ever. Don’t bother coming to this place!

Seriously? Mall opens at 11 on a Sunday… No bobba because it takes 2 hours to make. Well maybe someone should be coming in earlier to make it for the customers.

I have no idea why this place can’t alter their name to say Youji Tea as they never have food. No signs or anything to let us know. I’ve come here multiple times and have been turned away each time with… «Food isn’t ready yet» @ 1230 in the afternoon. «No food today» «Cash only» Seriously? How they stay in business I have no clue. They really should edit their menu board because half the things aren’t even available. The milk tea here is overpriced. There are so many better alternatives away from the mall but I guess that’s what you should expect from milk tea from the mall, shit. Service here is basic. A robot with a programmed friendly voice could do better. These people look like they don’t give a damn about anything. Definitely a waste of payroll that could be allotted to hmm, food?! Stay away from this place like the plague.

Came here for the first time on a Tuesday afternoon. I have yet to try their milk tea, but their alcoholic drinks are pretty good. If you’re in the mood for a light buzz with something sweet, I recommend the Youji Bomb Pop or the Youji Straw-Basil. The concept is cool, and the aesthetics are on point. But it definitely is on the pricey side(expect to pay about $ 15 if you’re getting one of these drinks). I think it’s worth trying, but I’m not sure I’d come back.

Came to Valley Fair on a Saturday and my dear beloved was craving boba tea. We had tried another place in the mall but figured we should give this one a shot. Boy do I wish I hadn’t! At close to $ 6 later we had a small drink that we were very disappointed in. Customer service here sucks, clearly you are just a number and pushed along. If you order no ice it’s $ 0.35 extra! Wish I would have be notified of said surcharge and I didn’t see it notated anywhere but on our receipt. We ordered Passion Fruit tea with Mango topping. The tea didn’t taste fresh at all and neither did the topping. The tea tasted very diluted and lacked flavor. Needless to say next time we have a craving for boba in Valley Fair we will go elsewhere as this place is just too sky high for the quality of tea and customer service. 2016 Review #16

Came here on 3÷20÷16 to check this place out since my friend & I were craving Milk Tea. Was definitely expecting something good since it was pretty crowded. However, the moment I took a sip, I felt an immediate«BLEH» I ordered a Rose Milk Tea w/pearls while my friend got the Matcha Milk Tea w/pearls. The Rose Milk Tea was definitely watered down w/absolutely no flavor. BLEH #1. The Matcha Milk Tea gave me the impression of «BLEH + NEVERAGAIN». It was like eating a spoon of sugar. Besides the taste, the price was quite expensive as well… Regular size came out to be $ 5.50 & The Matcha milk tea that only comes in a large size came out to be $ 6 flat. Sorry to say that we were fooled by its looks.

It’s nice and convenient that there is a boba place in the mall! However, it is really expensive(expected though since. well, it’s in a mall). I tried a jasmine milk tea with boba and it came out to around $ 5 something, almost 6. The tea was weak and bland but it was sweet enough that it didn’t completely taste like plain diluted milk. There was a hint of jasmine flavor but barely. The pearls themselves were decent. If I was desperate for boba and couldn’t go anywhere else, this place would do just fine. But I’d much rather make my way over to Santana Row for Fantasia.

Love the lychee green tea here. You know it’s not easy to find a lychee flavored drink(which is my favorite) that is not too sweet here. A little bit overpriced.

It’s pretty expensive. The tea tastes ok, but I’m not sure about the milk tea. My friend once got a stomach ache from drinking the milk tea. Probably not coming here again.

The roasted milk tea here is the so delicious. I’ve never tried a milk tea quite like this one. The only downfall is that because this drink is one of the popular ones, it only comes in a large and the large is quite pricey. This tea is good, but can’t say that it’s worth the price you pay.

Whenever I shop, I always need to have a drink in hand so my friend and I decided to try Youji. Never have I encountered a boba place that serves alcoholic drinks so I was quite surprised at the selection I saw. In fact, Youji was just doing a lot of different things that confused me. I was staring at the menu for a good five minutes, completely distracted by the wide array of items they were serving before actually PROCESSING the words and choosing what I wanted. Deciding to keep it safe, I ordered the Jasmine milk tea with no additional topping. To my dismay, the total came out to $ 5.35! WITHNOTOPPING? RIDICULOUS! This had better be some mind-blowing boba! Prepared to have my taste buds singing, I took one sip and immediately stuck out to my tongue. SOBLAND… I had it at 100% sweetness and it was almost as if they forgot the sugar.(I might even bet they did.) Sure, the cup was big, but what is the point of a big cup when it is filled with underwhelming tea? I drank about a third of it and gave up. Charging people at that kind of price is terrible enough, but for boba like that? It should be an outright crime!

(BEFORE): I was walking around the mall and immediately noticed Youji. It’s different from other boba places because they also serve beer and other alchol beverages with the tea. The people that work there are really nice especially a guy who works there is really nice and if you don’t know about the place he explains what different drinks they serve. They also serve food which is good. Sometimes the chicken spring rolls, Vietnamese sandwich &PHO beef noodle soup are really good. My favorite is the Black Milk Tea and Lychee Green Tea but without pearls. For some reason I never add any pearls haha \^^/ UPDATE: Lately Youji hasn’t been that great. The last time I went to youji the chicken spring rolls had a really bad aftertaste and the sauce had a very bad taste. Most of the time they don’t have the food just tea which sucks. At times I think they only do the food if they are in a good mood and feel like making it. That’s usually the vibe that I get from the staff. I haven’t been to youji lately and I’m not sure if I’ll ever visit youji.

My family and I often visit VF, it’s our thing to do on our family day. We wanted to get a quick bite and saw a ramen place(review to follow) but wanted a refreshing* drink. I stumbled to Youji and saw their cocktail menu. Thought it was pretty catchy to put it in a milktea cup so I had to try it. I can never say no to alchy anyways, so I ordered 2 drinks for me and the hubs: Moscow Mule and some purple one(forgot the name). There was no price up but I figured it can’t be more than $ 20 plus some change. It was $ 29.50! I couldn’t back out from paying now to save myself some embarrassment so I went with the order. I thought to myself this drink better be good. Sadly to say, it tasted like juice, got no buzz at all, it was like we paid $ 30 for 2 cups of flavored sparkling water! Highly disappointed and won’t be coming back, pictures were def. deceiving…

I love this place. They have the best custom alcohol drinks lol. Great staff, great customer service. I also love their pandan waffle… so good! If you are not sure what to order or what’s good, if the General Manger Elmer is there ask him he will create something to your liking. When I use to work at the mall I would ask for something refreshing & not too sweet. Always on point with my drink orders. Who says you can’t get a good buzz at the mall? Definitely coming back. *all the alcohol concoction is a must try.

I used to come here for lunch all the time, but now, just like middle America, I’ll skip it. Maybe there’s a new owner or maybe the staff doesn’t care, but they all looked like they were serving a community service requirement, and obviously did not want to be there. Now on to my sandwich. The saddest bahn mi that ever was! I literally had 6 shreds of carrot, 1⁄5 of a cucumber, and four thin cuts of meat in my sandwich. There was so little filler that the bread soaked up all the sauces and it was like eating a mouthful of vomit. I will not be back for a $ 13 lunch letdown.

This place is at the mall?! It’s a great new addition Valleyfair has gotten in the last year. From phở, pandan waffles, and spring rolls to milk tea and alcohol, it’s likely you’ll find something to grab while strolling through the mall. Their milk tea is significantly better than café central a few steps away, so definitely choose this place. They serve pretty good mixed drinks so it’s weird to think this place is inside of a mall. You technically aren’t supposed to take the alcohol outside of the food court but that’s fine because valleyfair has a beautiful outside Terrance. Even when it’s cold, it’s okay because there are fire places outside!!! It’s really nice inside too but why would you want to deal with all those mall noises and mall smells… Anyway, get the youji bomb pop! It will not disappoint.
