Steven Schott Baseball field is a great new facility for Santa Clara colleges baseball team. I came here for my cousins CCS championship for Bellarmine College Prep school. The inside is very new and remodeled. They have a snack bar with an wide variety of baseball snacks such as crackerjacks, peanuts, sunflower seeds, candy, coffee, hot dogs, pop corn, and more. The bathrooms are huge and very well kept. Some baseball fields lack in this department. The seats are comfortable and very spacey. There is enough room between you and the row in front of you. Sometimes seating can get really crammed up. The seats closer to the field have individual chairs. They also have bleacher seats up top, which are traditional hard benches. The dugout is covered and is fairly large for players. The field is made of turf and it is very well kept. I think this is one of the nicer college baseball fields I have been to. They have a nice scoreboard that is visible and clear! Overall 4 – 4.5

One of the best college baseball stadiums on the West Coast. Great place to play, coach, and watch a game. Yo Yo

Came here with my sons little league team to watch a Santa Clara University Broncos college baseball game. Lots of fun, the stadium is new, great seating, the tickets are relatively inexpensive to come watch a college game close to home. Only thing I didn’t like was that the snack bar was WAY expensive. We will be back though to watch the games.

What an upgrade from Buck Shaw Stadium! Steven Schott, the Santa Clara benefactor, paid for this entire baseball field and he did a great job. It is really a beautiful, modern park with excellent food. Did I say the food is really, really good. Well it is. Did I say the bathrooms are really, really clean? They are all that. The screen behind the field is a problem, unlike Stanford, they chose to have it go all the way across the back so you can’t see the players without having net in front of you. Don’t like that. And the parking is terrible. Why? Because there is no parking, that’s why? Literally no parking. You can park way over on the Santa Clara campus and walk across El Camino but that gets old quick when it is 90 degrees outside. So why the 4 star rating? Because of Buck Shaw. Nothing was worse than that old relic of a ballpark. So if you love college baseball and I do, take a nice spring day and go out to see Santa Clara play. But sit under the overhang on the first base side because it gets really hot, really fast in the sun down the third base line.
