Another one of those sleeper stores. Run down and old from the outside. Fantastic booze selection inside. They have some convenience stuff but it pales in comparison to the alcohol. The whiskey alone is crazy. Lots of high end hard to find things. Same thing with the wines. The guy who owns is knowledgeable too so if you like fine spirits this is most likely passing under your radar

What a surprising find for single malt scotch. The staff was certainly friendly and more than happy to guide me to their higher end scotch. They even had a bottle of the immensely difficult to find Macallan 30 yr. old scotch. At $ 1,250 a bottle, it is still there but it is nice to know that if I ever need such a rare scotch for the collection I know where it is hiding now.

short story: –indian male cashier at this store treats pregnant women like criminals. –do not talk on your cell phone here or else he’ll probably call the police. long story: so i was in here today at about 1pm. i was on my cell phone for a very important call regarding my health condition. there was only one customer that was in and out of this store during my presence. this other customer’s presence maybe lasted a couple minutes at most. because the parking lot was very noisy, i thought this store would be fine to talk to my MD because i’m pretty sure alcoholics or party people don’t usually stock up on alcohol on a Monday at 1pm. my husband was waiting for me in the restaurant Hoshi next door. I couldn’t talk at Hoshi because it was too noisy. since no one else was here except for the indian man cashier, i thought i would not be bothering anyone by talking on my phone. i was wrong. as soon as i finished my phone call, the indian man started yelling and screaming at me with such anger and hostility because i «used» his store to talk on the phone. by the way, i did not see any obvious«do not use cell phone here» signs in this liquor store. well, i guess this indian man felt that it was perfectly OK to yell and scream at a pregnant woman with tears in her eyes. i did not ever sob in this store. i wasn’t screaming. i wasn’t yelling. i was just talking normally on my phone. i just had tears in my eyes at most. i feel sorry for this indian man now because my husband and his friends enjoy alcoholic beverages from time to time — beer, wine, and occasionally hard liquor. with superbowl coming up, i know my husband would have stopped here. now, he won’t for sure. this liquor store just lost about $ 100+ on customers. from now on, my husband and i are boycotting this liquor store.

At least every other weekend San Tomas Liquor is a stop before our poker night. I never knew there was a deli attached until I searched their address to review! They got what I need and then some so therefore I got love.
