Awesome crew at OSC! There paint matching to my Harley was perfect! You cant’ even tell it was done outside of the factory! Timing was great too! Highly recommend Ron and the gang!

I crashed my 2014 Harley sportster last year, which was a problem for me because it’s my only transportation. Ron got my bike back into riding condition very quickly to make sure I wasn’t inconvenienced, got all the replacement parts custom painted, then got the final repairs done in under a week. He was very accommodating and considerate of my schedule and fit me in when it was convenient for me.
I’m also talking to him about doing some modifications to my bike, and even though my mind changes every day and I pepper him with emails asking questions about different parts and styles, he’s always gracious in his replies and typically gets back to me fairly quickly.
These guys do good work. I’ve read some of the other reviews about them being a bit rough with their customer service, or in some cases rude, but that hasn’t been my impression. They’re busy and don’t have time for small talk, so if you’re looking for someone to stroke your ego and pamper you, go get a mani-​pedi. They’re auto mechanics, not massage therapists.

So my boyfriend was in a motorcycle accident, rode the bike home from tow, than rode from south san jose to OSC for (cosmetic) insurance work… after around 2 months he finally gets bike back takes freeway home, gets off the bike coughs but makes it home, next time he is on the bike, city streets, the bike keeps dying, so he drove it to SJ Harley where OSC said they had taken bike and who was suppose to have fixed the problem for OSC, leaves it there, finally gets bike again and the bike is doing the same thing. Seems like between osc and harley something went wrong as the bike ran fine when rode to them initially, now after a very long wait for them to do cosmetic work, still no running bike and they seem to not want to deal with it, so he has given up even calling about it.

Audie got my 82 FXRS running again. He’s up front and no non-​sense. I’ll be back to have my fender painted at his shop.

I went back to OSC with a new bike needing help installing electrical accessories. I called before and they recommended that I come by in 3 days. That worked fine for me and they were ready when I arrived. I Elaine’s my needs, provided the accessories and they estimated a couple/​few hours effort over a day or so time. Within less than 24 hours, they called to say it was done. I went by before closing and it was ready, right in budgeted time/​cost with 100% satisfaction.
What I liked was they keep an eye out for any issues (within sight of where they work) to either quickly address it or bring it to my attention.
Very knowledgable — having ridden the same bike!

When I wanted to install a fairing on my VTX1800 I took the job to Ron at OSC, (2^nd project for OSC on this bike). The custom paint and installation of the fairing, stereo and accent lights was flawless. I am completely satisfied with the work at OSC and I highly recommend OSC if you are looking to customize your sled. You will be glad you did.

I was referred here by a friend to get a quote for my bags and some graphics. Ron the old man with STICK UP HIS BUTT. Came out with an attitude immediately .!! I asked for a estimate cause my bags were recently stolen and i needed some graphics put on my bike. I couldn’t bring my bike it cause it was down at the time and He said he wouldn’t even give me a small quote just for a new set of bags to be painted and some graphics !!! I understand that you have to have the bike but if you have been doing paint this long u would know about somewhere in ballpark of a price… Maybe i think he thought it was through insurance or something cause he kept asking me. He was rude i tried to show him some pics and what he charges per hour for paint, he would not answer any questions… He was very rude, front office was a mess .! He even walked away and didnt care about anything i had to say… If you walk into his shop u might have to kiss his butt to get him to pay attention to you! I will never refer anyone !! Avoid this rude person

Painted the tank, fenders and side panels of my beloved Kawasaki. Absolutely beautiful work. Not particularly cheap, but you get what you pay for. I had tried to paint the bike twice before unsuccessfully (the three-​stage paints are a nightmare). Happy I took it here when I finally gave in.
I should mention that communication wasn’t too great, but don’t worry if you don’t hear from them for a while — you’ll likely be very pleased once you do.

OSC was an auxiliary repair shop for my insurance claim. Based on my experience at the main shop I wish Ron had been the repair shop for the whole thing.
Ron took the time to communicate with me far better than the main shop. He was accommodating and was determined that I be satisfies with his part of the repair.
After I got my bike back from the main shop I met my insurance adjuster at OSC. We looked the bike over and found several things the other shop missed. Thankfully, Ron will fix their errors and I feel far more comfortable with that.
Ron took he one I discuss options always making it clear he was willing to do whatever it took to make THE WIFE happy with the paint. He obviously knows where it counts!!! Really like this guy.

First of all, Ron and Audie were extremely accommodating when we had to drop off the tour-​pack and saddlebags for paint detail on a Saturday REALLY early. Second, they really listened and understood what we were asking for. Third, they dealt directly with the insurance company to get the claim paid. Fourth, they took time to talk about additional services that we might be interested in having in the future. Fifth, the work was done well within the expected time frame and sixth, they contacted us to let us know exactly when we could come get the pack and bags. Lastly, they are down to earth, friendly professionals who are a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend them to anyone! Big thanks to House of Thunder Harley for the referral!

Ron and Audie have been working on my Road King for years. Always get prompt service at a fair price. Recently I had a problem right before a 3 day ride. They helped me out by getting it fixed on short notice so me and my friends could still take the trip. Thanks Ron & Audie!!!

Ron and OSC came through again. After my last experience I found out that the side cover on my 2005 Custom Harley was not factory chrome, rather than painted when it left the factory. I had purchased the bike from San Jose Harley after a trade in, and they told me it came in missing the side cover, so they put a chrome side cover on. After this was pointed out to me, I ordered a new side cover that day. Ron and OSC took that side cover and matched the paint scheme with the same scallops that the rest of the bike had. They did an awesome job again for me, and the bonus is that since they were painting, I gave them a half helmet to match the bike with.
My original scheme seemed to be a good one, but after laying out the tape, Ron and his painter did not like what they saw. Ron called me and I gave them the ok to do whatever they thought would look best on the helmet. When I picked up the helmet, it was great! They changed the scheme for the scallops, now I have scallops on each side, rather the top.
Thanks again for allowing me to find such a down to earth shop with quality guys running it. This shop was the recommendation from San Jose Harley, so a big thanks goes out to them too.

I am extremely pleased with the OSC Service Center. Ron and his crew have been great meeting my needs and really go above and beyond to deliver great customer service. My bike is at his shop now being repaired and it was in once before for repairs after an accident. They pick the bike up and deliver it back to your front doors, good as new. I highly recommend OSC for any bike needs you may have.

The guys at the OSC shop are great. Some no nonsense types of guys. They were a little difficult to get quote from over the phone (hence the 4 star rating), but once I got to the shop and spoke with them, they were great. They quoted me a max price for a 5k tune up for my XL883L, but when it was done, I paid less. Always a good surprise. I asked them for a quick quote on painting the fenders and tank, but they told me it would be around $ 1500. Maybe he meant the jugs too, because that’s way too expensive for a tank and fenders.
Overall a great experience. They got my sporty running nice and sweet. They even cleaned it up for me which was a nice surprise. Definitely a great shop for regular maintenance. I think I have to keep shopping around for my custom work though…

The 5 stars sum it up. I actually located OSC through Unilocal.Sure enough, the reviews are on point. I bought my ’03″ Road King Classic in for front and rear fender repair & electrical issue with my Dakota gauges. The ETA was a a couple of weeks. A week later I got a call from Ron to come and check out the body & paint repair. The paint match was outstanding. That was one major concern I had prior to taking my bike in to OSC. That wasn’t an issue with this crew. I was straight up impressed with the quality of work this crew is putting out. I ended up asking them to repaint my tank, two-​tone my dresser, add exhaust system, & slap on some Paul Yaffe 16″ monkey bagger bars. The pricing on parts & labor was great. A month later the end result was a GREAT looking Road King Classic! They even fixed that issue I had with my gauges & dialed in my cruise control. I will post pics up SOON.

The caption for 5 stars when reviewing on Unilocal says, «woohoo! as good as it gets» and that’s damn right. I recognized from the get-​go that motorcycle parts tend to take longer to obtain than those of a car, let’s say. That said, when I opted for Old School Customs for a repair job, I expected the repairs to take a relatively long time and I was very pleasantly surprised.
The first thing these guys did that shocked me was offer to pick up my damaged bike. No added fees or anything, and let’s be clear, I live roughly 45 miles north of this repair shop. Then, I’m told the repairs will take two weeks max pending slow delivery, but I get a call a week or so later telling me the bike was ready to go, AND they told me they would bring the bike back to my doorstep.
It goes to show that these guys do work quickly, were definitely affordable, and were very customer-​service oriented. I’m glad to have gone with Old School Customs and will be using them as my service station of choice from here on out.

My bike was suffering from a non-​start issue and over the course of 3 weeks they diligently traced it down to a faulty pickup coil. All said, I was charged for towing, parts, and 3 hours labor. The price was very reasonable considering the amount of time and effort required to track down the problem.
I found OSC through a local Google search and called them to haul away my non-​starting V-​Star 650. I price-​checked before agreeing to the tow and was surprised to find at $ 95 they were considerably less than the local competition.
Although not proactive they always answered the phone jovially when I called, gave me realistic expectations and a full status update. While the bike was in the shop I asked for their opinion on re jetting the carbs on my new Vance & Hines Cruzers — the shop that installed them suggested it wasn’t necessary but OSC disagreed.
When I finally picked up my motorcycle they gave me invaluable information about cold-​starting it and with the re jetted carbs it now sounds and performs a lot better. Really, I couldn’t be happier.
My only gripe (and it’s a minor one) is when I picked up the bike it was filthy. It would have been nice of them to wipe all the grease, dust, dirt and grime that had accumulated over the weeks of repair.
Old School Customs is just 3.5 miles from my office so I consider myself very lucky. Next time I need some work done I won’t have far to go (or tow).

Old School used to be crammed into a teeny tiny garage behind Moto Italiano over on West San Carlos. Well, it looks like they went and got all growed up, cause they have their own shop that is probably ten times the size of their old place. These guys not only do motorcycle maintenance and mechanical repairs, but they do collision work too!
