My hubby needed a 11⁄32 hole drilled into ½ in thick plexiglass. we had went to tap plastics first and they couldn’t do it and they didn’t know who could help. We began searching on our phones for anything that could help. Hubby told me to look up competitors instead I found a Unilocal page for this wonderful machine shop that mentioned someone else’s plexiglass project. I called and my hubby asked this wonderful woman that answered the phone if they could drill this hole, she said yes immediately. We couldn’t believe it, we went with hope in our hearts and they were able to help right away and do exactly what we needed. they are a precision shop and they can even custom make bits if needed. very impressed, try them out if you ever get stuck and need specific drills and taps, etc.

I needed to have some metal and plexiglass cut and drilled as specified from a drawing to create a test fixture. Phoned Nick’s Machining to see if they were interested in the job; then faxed over the details of the project.
Received a quote back the next day via email, which came in higher than expected. Gave Nick Cortez, the owner a call, and he reduced the price a bit to keep within budget.
Along the way, I needed to make a minor change to the drawing, and they were flexible enough to adapt. The completed test fixture was cut and drilled with perfection. I highly recommend Nick’s for any machining work.
