History

Established in 1980.

Founder: Edward R. Litwin began practicing immigration law in 1975, when the practice of immigration law was more casual and attorneys, as well as foreign nationals, had more access to adjudicating officers. He learned early on that well prepared cases were usually approved, which means spending more time on each case, but the success rate and happy clients justified the time. After 5 years he left that partnership to begin his own firm, ‘Edward R. Litwin, a Professional Corporation which morphed into ‘Litwin and Associates, a Law Corporation — Immigration Law. The firm now has 2 attorneys and a heavy Silicon Valley presence. The firm has kept its fees competitive, even with many of the law firms that spend less time on their cases and who prepare ‘cookie cutter’ filings.
