I have continuously jumped around from doctor to doctor and countless E. R visits for several issues with no success in determining a cause. Worst of all I usually received crazy looks I almost felt as if doctors thought I was bogus.
I stumbled upon Dr. Scott here on Unilocal and decided, why not? Truthfully this review is not about a rating, or a suck up so to speak. It’s about the fact that this doctor is the first one to understand me and not make me feel like I am a nut case. He was attentive, meaning he actually LISTENED!
Okay I must admit I walked in with a list a stuff typed out, but he addressed every last thing on my crazy list.
Rather then turn me away and tell me to reduce stress, he ordered labs. Labs I have never been done before. I HATE needles, but never have I been so happy to do labs because I truly feel this doctor is going to figure out what the hell is wrong with me!
The moral of this post is to let you know that if you are looking for a doctor a real one, old school one that is there for you and not just a paycheck, this is probably your guy! Some doctors seem to forget who they actually work for or their purpose. Not this one, he is there to help you and meet you halfway. It’s almost like a lost talent nowadays.
The medical assistant is awesome as well, very quiet but sweet and nurturing!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Scott since 2007. I can always call and see him when I want. His staff always make room for an appointment. He is very caring and treats me as a patient in a manner that looks after my long term health. I highly recommend Dr. Scott!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Jon Scott since 2009. Throughout my time as a patient, Dr. Scott and staff have addressed both my medical problems and aesthetic needs. With each visit I’ve been greeted by a friendly and professional staff. Dr. Scott’s whole body approach and focus on the importance of a healthy lifestyle are applicable to everyone, regardless of your age or health. You can always count on Dr. Scott to make you feel at ease while treating and educating you of your medical needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Jon Scott. I never regret making the trip from Santa Cruz for my medical treatments.

It just recently dawned on me that I have been seeing Dr. Scott for over 25 years. I originally was referred to him by a co-​worker, and it was an added bonus that his office was on the way from work to home. Although I have moved and his office is no longer convenient, I decided to stay with Dr. Scott.
I have found Dr. Scott to be exceptionally knowledgeable and he continues to increase and share his knowledge. Throughout the years he has cared for my health. He has advised on preventative measures. He added Botox and other extra’s to his practice. Recently he added a machine that tested your antioxidants along with getting me on supplements that have improved my antioxidant level. He is more than a general practitioner.
I trust Dr. Jon Scott with my health and my life. If you are looking for a doctor that is innovative, caring and smart — you should introduce yourself to Dr. Scott

Dr. Scott is one of the most professional doctors I have ever met… he runs a preventative-​based practice and I would consider him a «cutting edge» doctor who always does his research. Every encounter I’ve had with him has been a positive one and he always has the patients’ best interest in mind. His office staff is friendly and helpful, and they are a very well-​organized group.

I’ve been going to Dr. Scott for years. His office is clean and tastefully decorated, his staff knowledgeable and efficient. He himself is warm and wonderful, with an easy-​going, laid back manner that I find very comfortable. He’s a fabulous GP. One who really listens to your concerns.
Then there’s the added benefit of his having a magical machine! Okay, not really — but he did receive extensive IPL training and he has the machine to do it. I’ve had my share of sessions — and HIGHLY recommend it. Seriously — people ALWAYS think I’m far younger than I really am — I attribute that to his mad skills with the IPL!
All in all, a great doctor with a great office.
The great machine? That’s the cherry on top.

I have been using Dr Scott as my family since 2007. I have found him to be very receptive to my needs. I have a very complicated medical history and extreme sensitivities with my allergies, so it is not always easy to treat me. I feel fortunate to have found such a compassionate and understanding doctor. Over the years I have also found his staff to be so friendly and helpful. They always remember my name and treat me with dignity and respect, as does Dr Scott. If I need an appt the same day I call, they always find a place for me. I rarely have to wait for more than a few minutes in the waiting room, and the dr addresses all of my concerns without rushing me. If you want a knowledgeable dr who takes your needs and experiences into consideration in his treatment plan, Dr Scott is a good choice. I have had to discuss my financial limitations many times with him, and he works with my budget in mind. Both my husband and I use Dr Scott, and both of us rate him as a 5 star doctor. Thank you Dr Scott!

Dr Scott is a pathetic GP.
He wants you out of his office as fast as possible.
When I had the (real) flu and PASSED OUT ON HIS TABLE from dehydration with a temp of 103 °F he put me in the other room on my own and called my wife to come get me instead of treating me. I _​SHOULD_​have been sent to the ER or treated there. He risked my life and for what? lazyness?

Dr. Scott is a great doctor! He is knowledgeable and takes plenty of time to listen to whatever is going on. He is a big proponent of healthful living, and is concerned with the whole person. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor. He specializes in sports medicine, but is a good all around doctor as well. He has a great personality, and a really nice office staff as well.

When I was on the hunt for a doctor, I signed up with Dr; Scott thinking it would be temporary, until I found another. Two years later, and I still won’t even look anywhere else. This guy is so cool, easy to talk with, laid back, he knows sports medicine, and he seems to be readily accessible. I assume he’s good with women, too, but I know he’s a great guy’s doctor. Highly recommend him and his staff who always seem professional and well informed.

He is the first doctor I have seen that want to schedule a second appointment just to give you the results of your analysis. I’m being generous giving him two stars, he did not have a nice and clean office and he is pretty unfriendly. I felt he want to rush me to save time.
I definitely would not recommend this doctor to anyone!
