Best place around to get a hair cut in my opinion. I get my hair cut every two weeks here and they haven’t disappointed yet: D.

Went in to chop my hair in to a lob. A little awkward at the start, since I walked in and got a quick glance, but no greeting. After sitting in the front area for a few minutes, I was asked to sit in a chair as another customer walked out after paying (guess they give their full attention to the client being served at any given moment. Not a bad thing!) Showed Jean a few posts I had pinned on Pinterest, to indicate length and style I was going for, and then she got right to work. (She checked to see if I had washed my hair that day yet, and since I had, no hair wash before cut.) After some light conversation to the sound of brisk snips to my below shoulder length hair, a few rounds of blow drying and additional touch up cuts here and there, the entire cut was done in about 45 minutes. What I appreciated the most from her was her high attention to detail. She would compare the length of hair from all sides to make sure everything was consistently symmetrical and layered to fall nicely, and never seemed to be in a rush. $ 40 for a women’s cut, pretty fair price in the area. Will definitely be returning, and will be recommending to others as well!

I called on a Friday and they were able to squeeze me in at 2:30pm the next day for a cut. Don’t let the dreary and shabby-​looking exterior fool you! The inside is cozy and a decent size for a hair place. I waited about half an hour and was nicely seen by Jean. She washed and carefully cut my long hair to a stylish shoulder-​length cut, making sure to check in with me along the way to ensure it was what I wanted.
Jean was fantastic. She took her time, which I appreciate, and really displayed her skill and expertise. I would highly recommend her!

I’ve been to many hair salons since I came to the Bay Area. This is absolutely the best and I couldn’t find any reason not to come here for my next hair cut.

I paid $ 40 for women’s haircut which didn’t include a hair wash, but he gave me a blowout afterwards. It’s still pricey in my book but I think that’s the going price for most Korean salons. Jean trimmed my hair a little shorter than I wanted but it still looked nice.
I’m not very good at Korean and I was the only one there so I had an awkward conversation in my broken Konglish so I’m not sure how the experience would be for non-​Korean speakers.
Nonetheless, the facility is clean, pretty new and Jean apparently lived in LA before so I think that business style and service carried over here.

I went to various Korean salons looking for the perfect digital perm and finally found one in this neighborhood. His technique is different and he got my hair done exactly the way I wanted it and it was a much more affordable than other places. I found my forever salon. YEAHY!

Called in at 10:40 am asked for an appointment, got me in @ 1:40 pm. Loved it and probably coming back next time.

Jimmy is an excellent hair designer. He understands what style you want. Very satisfied with my hair every time I go here. All staff are professional and organized. Make appointments as they get full especially on weekends.

Second time getting my hair colored by Jean. She is AMAZING! I went from medium to light with a kiss of highlights. Like always, I am in love with my hair and highly recommend checking out this place. You will not leave disappointed!

This is a little gem of a place that I found here on Unilocal!Called and made an appointment for my daughter. Jimmy got me in the next day. I wound up taking her appointment because she couldn’t make it. So glad I did. i have been looking for a new stylist in Santa Clara that doesn’t charge an arm and a leg that can work with my thick and wavy hair.
The place is small and very cute. Jimmy is very friendly. I brought in a picture of what I am working towards and he went to work like Edward Scissor Hands. He was so fast. I love my hair!
I have already been stopped at the mall to be asked where I got my hair done. :) Gonna try my hand at highlights with Jimmy Hair next.

Found this place through my brother who is pretty picky with hair stylists. Decided to dye my hair and needed someone to understand the strength and the basic color foundation of my hair to pick and right color. Resule: Jimmy was great! He saw my face color, shape and saw that I had a brownish think hair so he chose a nice color for me and just made it to perfection! He also gave me a nice trim! Price is reasonable and great customer service as well! I already referred 2 other friends and they also loved it! So happy I found a new place for my hair!

Excellent haircut for a great price range. Jimmy is fantastic and did me what exactly I want. I feel very comfortable with their great service. Also they use good products to deal with your hair.
I’d like to highly recommend him to whoever wants to get Korean style haircut.

Probably the best place to go get your hair cut in San Jose.
My mom, dad and I all got our hair done at this place. Both Jimmy and Jean were very professional and NICE.
They will give you both the comfort and the style you want.

I couldn’t even wait until I got home to write this. This place is a go-​to in the San Jose area. Jean cut my hair and I told her basically what I wanted and she delivered to perfection. Price of a men’s cut is 25 and I would have paid more. I actually went in without knowing the price because of friends and family recommendations.
The place itself is super clean, has a cute dog, and just professional throughout.
I was paying when I noticed a opened/​VERY slightly used wax that I have never seen before. The owner told me to take it and let him know if I liked it. The whole tub of wax. I would have bought it because it was basically new. He said he can’t sell a used product. Mvp.
Overall, I had no issues with this place at all.

Jimmy is fantastic!
Mom, brother, and myself went to Jimmy and his wife, & we had great experiences.
His english isn’t perfect but that don’t demote his abilities!
He gave me exactly what I asked for and has a good price range for a professional haircut.

Jimmy is awesome! I came in for a trim and more texture (the stylist that had cut my hair a month ago gave me a blunt cut), showed him a picture of what I wanted, and he totally nailed it! I will definitely be back!

Took a chance on this new salon. I was kinda nervous since there are only a handful of reviews. But since it’s 5 minutes from my house, I wanted to try it out. One of the things that I was scared about was their English. I wasn’t sure if they were like some of the others in the area where they barely speak English but they do! The duo is from New York and they opened their salon about a month ago. They have a super cute bichon like dog that I just wanted to snuggle up with.
I walked in without an appointment. Both Jean and Jimmy were with clients but they said it would be about 5 minutes. I looked in their hair books, knowing I wanted to get a lob. A lot of their pictures I’ve seen on Pinterest so they know what are the trends. I told Jean that I have a A line bob but grew it out, now I wanted a lob. She recommended some layers for the hair style. She washed and cut my hair really well. Both Jimmy and Jean had amazing cutting techniques that I haven’t seen before… then again I usually go to Vietnamese salons. Jean was very nice and bit of a perfectionist. I walked out with a lighter hair style that I can where straight and curly, which is what I wanted. I’m thinking about going back for a color job soon. Updates to come!
