They gave me a quick appointment for hair dye. I needed my hair to become medium mocha color, however, my hair turned out very light brown/​orange and my gray hair still showing. It was waste of $ 80. I do not recommend this place for hair dye.

I was debating between a 2 star review or a 4 star one because I liked the place — spacious, clean and full of sunlight. I had the classic mani and pedi service and one turned out to be far more better than the other.
The person who did my pedi was really friendly and professional. But I was not happy to see the mani throughout the entire time; the person did not do a good job and kept applying more layers of nail polish to cover up the imperfections… Seriously, I think I could do way more better job than her… I even had a ask her several times to remove the extra nail polish left on my skin…

For NOT listening to you clients requests to NOT use the GELISH or SHELLAC TOP COATS. Unfortunately yours is not better or any different the the ones I have used in the past of the same brand name.
I am a hairstylist who does a lot of color. YES I use GLOVES to put on color. NO I do NOT use GLOVES to wash the clients color out only cause the rubber pulls on the hair and does not feel good.
I am so upset I spent $ 30 dollars and the whole appointment time telling my nail tech to use the thick gel the original gel nail products they use to do gel nails, as my top coat. I explain to them that I’m a hairstylist who does color and that my nails would stain after a couple of color washes, just from the dye being rinsed out and shampooed. They insisted on the fact that I should use gloves to do color. I explain to them that yes I do use gloves just not to wash the clients color out. Unfortunately five days later as you can see my nail color has changed. I also told them that I used to do my own GELISH nails and that the same thing would happen. Also the shape is a little off I ask for super square with no round edges. I love my original nail lady she’s over on Camden and union in San Jose it is a little bit out of my way and it’s the only reason I go out there. She uses the original gel which does not stain when I do color. I can go five weeks with my nails and the color does not change. I’m trying to find a nail salon closer to my work that is a little more convenient. The cost is about the same it’s just driving out to Camden that makes it hard especially with my schedule. I will NOT BE GOING BACK TO HUNNY HAIR AND NAILS.

If you ladies are getting the shellac and gelish products done. Remember not to touch your hair when you have color it will stain and won’t come off not even with color remover or alcohol.

This place is bad ass! Very relaxing atmosphere. Professional staff. Funny ladies with good senses of humor. The place is very clean… and did I mention RELAXING??? I always get the pedicure. Make sure you have PLENTY of time. They take about an hour. When you sit down, they asks if you would like green tea or water PLUS they give you PUB MIX! OmFG!!! It the pedicure starts with hot, bubbly «spa water», then they give you a sugar scrub (your scent choice-​I recommend the coffee one). They also give a thorough lower leg and foot massage. AWESOME! They chairs totally rock, too!

They gave me snacks which was nice, the place is clean, the staff is nice… but I was charged an additional $ 5 to file my nails into the stilleto shape. I’ve never heard of that before. It also took over 2 hours for the girl to finish my gel manicure. She couldn’t get the design I requested to look normal. If you don’t know how to do something, dont use me as a guinea pig and waste my time. Just tell me that you dont know how to do the design and move on. I ended up leaving with just a regular manicure. Nothing special.
I do like that they have OPI gel colors. I wish they had more of a selection. When she put it on though, the polish came on super clear which makes me believe it was diluted with something. Let’s see how it holds up…

This is my favorite nail salon of all time. Everyone here is so friendly, and the complimentary bottled water and snacks are such a plus. I’ve never encountered a rude nail lady here and I will never betray this salon for any other place! ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would recommend.

The lady that did my pedicure was fantastic. She did a really good job cleaning and the hot stone massage was great. I upgraded for callus removal ($ 5) and she did a really good job on that too.
What brings the ratings down for me is the lady that did my manicure. She speaks extremely little English and my manicure looks like it was done by a 5 year old the day after! She kept asking me what color I wanted. I had picked out 2 colors and told her I wanted to see them on before deciding. She nods, so I’m thinking she understood, but then watches her go return one of the bottles to the shelf. I tell her again… that I haven’t decided yet… and she nods… again… and walks back without the polish. Sigh. After telling her for the third time, she finally brings the polish back… and starts painting all my nails with a different color. OK now I just don’t know what’s going on.
My manicure has bubbles and is super uneven. It seriously looks like it was slapped on by a child. Sigh. But i probably won’t go back to have them fix it, will just wait till I get home this weekend to go to my favorite salon.

When I went here I needed a quick place that wasn’t my usual. And the girls were super nice and I liked my nail lady a lot, but I don’t know if they use bad products or what. I got the acrylic powder with gel and less than a week later my nails are destroyed. Normally my powder/​gel lasts way past four weeks, I just change it cause they’re too long. This is ridiculous that it hasn’t even been a week and they’re chipping and peeling like crazy. Not just the gel but the powder too! I hate my nails so much! I’m not the type to go back and ask to have them touched up, but I almost want to. But I’m scared they will be equally as bad. Maybe you’ll have a better experience than me, but I definitely didn’t love this place.

Beautiful, spacious, clean, salon with suburb customer service. It’s no accident that they open another salon in the same plaza! To be honest, I don’t enjoy getting «pampered, often get tired, restless and bored when getting my hair or nails done. So when I get the sudden burst of energy to go to a salon, I have to act in it ASAP. That means my options are limited and beggers can’t be choosers since I don’t have an appointment. Luckily I am not picky and am usually so grateful I was squeezed in, I leave satisfied.
I Went here for the second time on Monday for a haircut and deep conditioning treatment. Guess what? I am in the books for next month!
During my first visit, Lynn (owner) didn’t have anyone booked after me. I asked if I should color my hair, in addition to getting a trim. she said that I could go another month and my hair could use a break. She could have made more money, fried my hair but didn’t. A true, honest, classy business woman.
I was even more impressed today and here are some reasons why:
1.) I needed a charger for my phone, one of the staff went and brought out her extra longer charger so I could use my phone while under the dryer. I was expecting her to take my phone to a charger somewhere.
2.) they made fresh coffee, brought water bottles, snacks and asked «is there anything else we can get for you?»
3.) i asked if I could a piece of gum, they handed me an Almost whole package and told me to keep it.
4.) Lynn and Tina both worked on me and time flew by. We spent the whole time talking and laughing. For once I wasn’t restless, counting down minutes!
Come here if you want to be treated like royalty, not get ripped off, have meaning conversations, be in a positive, good vibes and leave/​feeling looking fabulous.

So I’ll Start of by saying my nails look amazing, even the (what I believe is) owner sat me down to take pictures with their bussines card to show them off. I got a full set of acrylics + a pedi THAT COST $ 85. BUT they aren’t $ 85 material, because who would pay that much?!
On their website the prices are confusing, and in real life the workers dont make it clear on prices. I was told $ 60 when I was getting the nails and the pedi done, I figured it seemed like a fair cost for both of these. When I was going to pay they summed $ 25 for the pedicure, and $ 60 for the acrylics.
I left confused, Sat in my car and looked at my acrylics wondering how the price got so high. I went back inside and kindly asked one of the ladies how the prices added up.
The workers basically made everything as «deluxe» as they could without asking.
The charged $ 35 for the shellac (which I didnt approve on) gel acrylics
Then they added $ 10 for the shape (a little too much and not mentioned)
Then they added $ 15 FOR GLITTER (I have never seen such expensive glitter in my life?!)
She apologized and hugged me but I continue to feel duped. In the store their prices are not written out and the workers do NOT make it clear how much something costs.
To sum this place up: Beautiful nails but disgusting prices with sneaky fees.

TL;DR: First and Third visit, horrible. Lady with glasses doesn’t really care for nails/​work, rushes it. Tina, wants to do your nails her way and when she does not get what she wants, she rushes your nails and leaves a horrible quality. Second visit though, was very good. I think the owner did my nails and they lasted three weeks and did exactly what I wanted and left it in good quality…
I have been here three times now and two out of those three times, I wasn’t satisfied or at least I was until I gave myself a few days to see the results of my manicures and let’s just say they weren’t good.
My first visit here, which was back in December 2015, this lady who wears glasses was doing my manicure didn’t seem to know what shape I wanted for my nails and it got to the point where someone else had to step in and show her what I wanted. I wasn’t too anal about it and just let it go. Although I felt a little uneasy with how much layers of the shellac gel polish she put and made me a little worried for the condition of my nails. Three days later, the SHELLAC GEL started to chip and for those who aren’t familar with shellac gel, they’re supposed to last you for at least more than a week before some of it starts to chip of from nail growth or other conditions. At this point, my nails just started to look gross and very brittle. When I removed the polish, it was clear that she over filed my nails and my nails took about two months to recover.
My second visit was SO MUCH better and it was about a month ago. I believe the owner did my nails and she was the one who stepped in and helped the other lady on my first visit. She shaped my nails evenly and did a much cleaner job. My nails lasted three weeks and I was pretty content and decided «Okay, maybe this place isn’t so bad.»
My third and perhaps my last and worst visit, was a week ago. I did a full set manicure and a shellac gel pedi this time. Pedicure was great though! I wasn’t sure who the lady was, but she did an excellent job. On the other hand, the lady who did my manicure whom I believe her name was Tina, did a not so excellent job. I showed her a simple design I wanted but she kept saying «I could make it better, prettier» and long story short, she just kept wanting to do it her way. The color scheme of my nails were white, blue, and pink, with a gold accent. While she was doing my nails, I noticed she put green and at first I thought she probably saw the picture wrong, but she said she thought the NEON green looked better but oh it did not. I kept telling her I did not want that color and I just wanted her to just stick to what I showed her. When she finally listened, she frowned the entire time and just rushed my nails and kept complaining how it was so much work and kept insisting on doing at least one of her designs on my nail and I gave in just so she wouldn’t look like a sad child who didn’t get what they wanted. I was very annoyed with how she acted and just ruined my mood to be honest. And also for this visit, my mother came along with me and the lady who did her nails was the same on my first visit and she had the same outcome: rushed nails, chipped in just a few days and looked dirty and gritty.
From that third visit, I noticed that Tina put part of the acrylic onto my skin and since nails grow, the acrylic caused bubbles to come under it and now some of it is already coming off after just a few days. And after one week, not only did the polish chip, but part of the glued nail as well. I can’t believe I paid $ 65 for such horrible work.
If you want to do ANY design (especially if it is trendy or what not), no matter how simple it is, this is not the place to do it. I don’t recommend going to Tina or the lady with glasses. Sorry, but I will not being coming here again.

Amazing service! Super friendly, hot tea and snacks as soon as you are seated plus the best massage chairs I’ve ever experienced. Definitely worth my 20 min drive over here.

Just on a whim I came here before having dinner with my coworker’s at Mio’s next door. I was early to dinner and decided to get a quick manicure.
I walked to their other location around the corner to their other location but they were busy and referred me to this one. I came in and was quickly helped considering I was trying to get a manicure in 30 minutes. $ 15 for a regular manicure. The lady that worked on me took her time and was gentle. They provided me with water and snacks that were from Costco!
Overall experience was great. Did not give the 5^th star because they did not lotion up my hands or give me a hand massage like other nail salons do. Maybe because they were short staffed and other people were waiting.
I would come back again when I’m in the area!

Very friendly service. Snacks and bottle water provided. Ventilation was good, not much fume inside since they have front and back door open the whole time. Can be kinda chilly when the weather is cold though.
Price is very fair and they take their time to work on your nails. I got a deluxe pedi and acrylic full set on my hands ($ 35+30=$ 65) ((that’s for the acrylic set with solid color paint only. The design you see in my photos were done by myself after I got home)
Unfortunately the 2 stars off was because: I asked for the sharpened square shape, the shaping on my left hand came out much more symmetrical and even than my right hand, maybe because my right hand was done first?
My cuticles were scraped and filed several times during the filing process which did hurt.
The pedicure was fine but I wish the lady understood more English. She scrubbed my shins repeatedly even after I told her to go lighter and stop scrubbing the same place. I have sensitive skin so it was painful. I really appreciate her efforts but it ended up being unpleasant.
Another thing was I had pick the colors for my toes and fingers when we started. But somehow at the end the bottle of polish for my fingers were gone after they moved me from the pedicure chair to the manicure table (it was right next to me on the pedi chair side tray the whole time, I have no idea how it just disappeared.) And they couldn’t find it so I had to compromise by picking another color. Fortunately the new color came out good.
In the end, if you like firm scrubbing and don’t have sensitive cuticles, this place does a decent paint job.

Such great service. They give you snacks and bottled water. I was always asked how the water was, how my French tips looked, how the shape of my nails were. Really friendly and calming atmosphere.

I’ve been going here for a few months now and I LOVE it. The women who work here are incredibly kind and talented. My nails have never looked so good! Personally, the things I look for most in a nail place are quality, attention to detail and cleanliness. Hunny Nail has it ALL! It’s expensive spa level quality work at very affordable prices. I’ve never once felt rushed here, and each time my nails have been taken care of flawlessly. I’ve had my nails done by most of the women who work here and they are all wonderful. HIGHLY recommend Hunny Nail – I’ve never been more pleased with a nail place in my life. If you’re looking for your new favorite nail place, this is it :)

Sunday at 7:45 p.m. and my toes are drying! This place is open late and even on Sunday!
My appointment was at 6:45. I got the deluxe pedicure: $ 35. From start to finish, about an hour. As soon as I sat down, I chose a salt scrub scent (lavender orchid) and then was given a snack and a water bottle. My toe nails were cut, my cuticles cared for, foot mask, a hot towel, leg and foot massage, hot stone massage, then polish (including base and top coat).
She did a good job, the chair works great, and the environment was calm and relaxing. Also, the whole place is clean and organized.
The owner, Lynn, introduced herself and sincerely thanked me for my business. She told me a 2^nd location was opening in the same shopping area. It will accommodate more customers.

I called around 940am to get some pricings. I asked how much a «gel polish CHANGE» was. so I’m assuming that they would have known I had polish on already since I said «change». But I guess not. The lady told me $ 15 so I made an appointment for 10am.
When I got there, they say me down right away and let me pick my color. The salon was very pretty and very clean too! Another lady (Van) let me know that the «gel polish change» would be $ 20. So apparently the $ 15 on was if your nails were already bare which was fine.
While Van was soaking my nails, she brought me a water bottle and a plate of snacks. I thought that was so nice!
When she starting cleaning off my manicure, she noticed that one of my nails was broken so she fixed it with some acrylic. She told me normally to fix a nail, it would be an extra $ 2 but since it was my first time there, she wouldn’t charge me. She even filed my nails and cleaned up my cuticles for no extra charge. She said if I were to cut my nails, it would have been an extra $ 5. But I wanted to keep my nails long and she definitely respected that.
Van did a great job on my nails and I really appreciated the water an snacks and thr filing and cleaning of my cuticles! I will definitely be back for sure :)

Perfect salon experience. We were able to get two early evening last minute appointments for pedicures. Easy to find and immaculate spacious location.
They have an excellent selection of services and wonderful selection of colors.
Kristy gave me the most enjoyable pedicure and my nails look perfect. This is a completely pain free pedicure.
Yes, the water and snacks were lovely. Everyone was very friendly.
Highly recommend and I would try to see Kristy again. She’s really amazing.

I have such a busy work schedule by the time I get off work all nail salons are closed. Luckily this place is open late! (Big plus!)
I have gotten both mani/​pedi here and I love it. Lynn does such an amazing job! She is so sweet! Everyone there is so nice and attentive. They take their time with you instead of trying to hurry and rush you out like a lot of other places.
I enjoy getting pedis here. Their sugar scrubs and hot stones make you feel so relaxed as if you’re in a real spa. And did I mention they give you something to snack on + a water bottle!
I always recommend this place to everyone. I promise you won’t regret it!
