Till today, Maxine Chin has NOT given me my money back, she is a thief!!! It has been since 2014!!!

Maxine Chin helped me to quickly get an affordable listing and made the process very smooth and easy. Very professional and easy to speak with and treated the owner and I with respect and honesty.

I have had the worst experience working with Maxine. She called me 12 days after we had moved out accusing us of dumping our box spring and mattress at the dumpster. It wasn’t ours, we don’t own box springs and she admitted to it not being mine, but insisted that she MUST charge us the $ 250 for the disposing it. REALLY? Then she charges us for $ 450 worth of «painting» & «patch» work that was needed after we left. We had listed that those damages were there prior to us moving in on our lease. Asked for a breakdown and receipt of charges, «i’ll have to look into it.»
Such outrageous accusations and charges. Save yourself from the frustration and stress with dealing with her.

TLDR: Go with Maxine, zero buyer’s remorse.
Maxine and HMC have been phenomenal. Maxine has kept in touch with me through out the entire process. She possesses a great knowledge of the SF real estate scene. Maxine made the whole buying process effortless. We worked as a team, but I know she did all the hard work!
I can’t recommend her enough. She is dependable and trustworthy. She rarely seems frazzled. Overall, I would not have any concerns working with her again.

I have used HMC Property Management for over 8 years and have been very satisfied with this company’s services. Maxine has a genuine desire to provide personal service to her clients and has been very dependable in following through with her commitments. This company has been very good at taking care of emergency situations and was very quick to respond to my needs. I was once out of state on vacation and a tree fell down and knocked over a fence. Maxine was quick to respond to the emergency and took care of the tree removal, repair of the fence and pretty much took care of everything without me lifting a finger. Having her there gives me great peace of mind. I know she can handle most any situation and that she has my best interests and safety in mind.

I rented from this company IMaxine Chin) because they had a decent price for the size of apartment I was looking for. When I went to look at the place, the previous owners were still moving out and the apartment was not clean. I was promised it would be cleaned up when I moved in. I went to pick up my keys and the place was still dirty (stained carpets, marker on the walls, dirty stove/​oven, stagnant water in the dishwasher and no blinds). I asked for her to clean it up before I moved in and she said she would have someone come clean up. When they showed up (unannounced) she told them to only clean $ 120 worth. I will say that she was quick to have someone come out and fix something but she did it as cheaply as possible. Most of the tenants in the complex moved out in the 10 months that I lived there and most of the workers that came to fix things only had negative things to say about Maxine. I would never rent from Maxine again nor would I recommend it to anyone else.
