Very disappointed with this Dentist and her scheduling staff. Before this I had not seen a dentist for somewhere around 2−3years just because life happened and it wasn’t a priority. In searching for a dentist I looked for weekends and late hours, so that I may work my appointment between work and my baby. Surprisingly, they had both. So I scheduled for a Saturday at 11:30am. This office is only minutes away from my home, so that was also a plus. Then, I get a call from the scheduling staff letting me know the insurance was ok and that they would see me on Saturday at 11:30am. Minutes later I received a second call asking if I would mind taking a 10:30am appointment instead. Being that I myself work with doctors I understand how scheduling adjustment must be made sometimes, so I agreed. Then, a couple hours later I received another call for the confirmation of my appointment at 9:30am! I was confused and a little annoyed with this as it did not work with my schedule. The lady on the other end sounded confused as well but in the end agreed to my 10:30am appointment. When I showed up on Saturday morning I found myself in a very small office where you could see the front desk from your examination chair. I was greeted by the dental assistant who was very nice and assisted with the X-rays. She asked if I had had X-rays done this year and when I proceeded to let her know I had not used any benefits at all she hurried me on over to get some shots in. Felt a little like fresh meat, but I decided these would be used to my benefit and didn’t say anything. As this was all happening Dr. Myrna Hilo and a fellow dentist were both visiting with who apparently was her«second son.» I sat and waited, and the nice dental assistant reminded her of her appointment(me) when she didn’t budge. She finally came over and asked if anything was bothering me. I said my wisdom teeth were and that I had left them alone since I had been pregnant and breastfeeding for some time now. She looked at the X-ray and advised me to see a fellow oral surgeon to fix that for me. Then, she took a seat, it was then 10:41am. She asked if I wanted a cleaning. I thought to myself«Isn’t that what I scheduled?» I bit my lip and just said,“yes.” She went in and gave her dental assistant 4 numbers, indicating my wisdom teeth to complete the referral for the extraction. She then removed some build up from a couple areas in my bottom teeth and… Done! It was 10:48am I kid you not! She walked away faster than I could realize she really was! I asked the dental assistant about the rest of my teeth being cleaned and she said it wasn’t necessary that my teeth were in good shape. Mind you, I have not seen a dentist in 2 – 3 years! I also noticed she didn’t examine my gums for sensitivity, nothing! The DA then polished my teeth, I rinsed, and that was my appointment in a nutshell. I was such an after thought at this office and clearly all they are looking to do is get insurance $. Never again.

Awsome dentist really takes care of her patients. Before her I had a dentist that told me I need 9 fillings. I when to this dentist and she said that only 3 need to be done. The others just need to be monitored. She cares about my and my oral health. And my wallet!
