Dry Clean 4 U

First time here months ago… I dropped off my bfs dress shirts and blazers along with my stuff. A lady who helped me was not very enthusiastic. Picked it up and came home to only have half of my things mixed up with someone else. Never got my blazer and my bfs dress shirts belonged to someone else that had their initials on them. I don’t expect any compensation for the items, but just to let the management know that they need to pay closer attention to their customers items.

These guys are the best. Harris, the owner is one of the sweetest and most knowledgeable men I have ever met. I have been going there for over 20 years and even drive out of my way to get there now that I have moved. I trust them and they do great work. If ever there is a problem, they fix it! I hope they will be there forever!

I came here to get a small 4×6 rug cleaned. They contract out the rug cleaning and the deliveries and pickups are only done on Tuesdays, so it takes a minimum of 1 week to get your rug back. When I got it back, I ended up paying more for the cleaning than the price of the rug. The lady at the store told me «it’s worth it if it’s a really nice rug». When I got back home, chunks of the rug were missing from the border, and the backing was peeling off in many places. There was a note attached saying «aware of backing». I’m not sure if this meant the customer is aware of the backing, or if the company doing the cleaning ruined it and informed Dry Clean 4 U. Either way, I was not notified of the damage, and if I was, I definitely would have expected a decrease in price. How hard is it to clean a rug? Next time, I will just buy a new rug, or rent a steamer and clean it myself.

I have been here a few times so the people there know me. Unfortunately for me this time I brought an expensive dress in with a small wine stain at the bottom only to have it returned with two large black marks on the front and back. When I questioned this I was told they were there when I brought it in. I know this isn’t the case as it would have been impossible to miss and given the fact when I pointed out the wine stain at the bottom he said he hasn’t seen that or worked on it at all. I’m so sad, after paying for the dress to be cleaned, after paying a lot of money for the dress to be worn once and to be basically laughed at in the shop. I thought given the fact I know these people a little respect and customer service would be shown but not at all. I will not be returning and will advice anyone who knows this place to avoid also.

I’ve been coming to the Stevens Creek Dry Clean 4 U for eight months and it has been a great experience. My affinity for this place is all about the service. The owner is super nice and has an amazing memory. After my first dropoff, he knew my name and my story. He knows me by sight and did after my first visit. When he sees my car pull up he is already reaching for my pickup. No problems at all with my dry-​cleaned and laundered garments to date. Great service, reasonable prices, and reliable high quality output at an easily accessible location.

I normally take my silk shirts here just to get them cleaned and they do it so well for such a great price. They’re really big on «green cleaning» which to me is all the more reason to take my clothes here.
They do such a good job and pay such attention to detail.
I’ve had to get some pants taken in here as well and they even do that and they make sure they fit really well!
They even do shoe repairs! Yea, they’re basically a one stop shop for all those needs. I love that I found this place.

I have been going to this cleaner for years and it’s the best one in town. It’s a green dry cleaners and a clean environment. Not like some of these out of date and questionable cleaners. The staff is so friendly and make you feel like you’re part of the family. You get what you pay for so they don’t do a half job and still charge you for it. What’s the point of going to a cleaners then? You will find your clothes looking better than new. Shirt collar stains are gone and the starch is just right.

I had the worst service/​experience here.
I took some dresses in. One dress was noticeably different when I picked it up. Stretch marks throughout, a stain on the chest (which I can’t remember making myself and I don’t think it was on the dress when I dropped it off), and the fabric itself looked totally different. It was originally a shiny taffeta, and it now looks dull and matte in light.
I tried explaining to the man behind the counter and all he did was laugh. «Oh, you forgot what it looked like!» No, I remember exactly what it looked like since I had to pay $ 250 for it as it served as a bridesmaid gown. «You can’t even tell me what’s wrong!» I pointed out all of the different problems again and again. He laughed some more. He wasn’t interested in anything I had to say. No interest in talking about it. «It’s a very hard fabric to clean», he said. Maybe it is, I’m not sure. But I don’t think it’s impossible to clean, and if he didn’t have the means to clean it in his store, why did he attempt to?
I told him I wasn’t going to pay for it. He reached across the counter and grabbed all of my dresses from me, out of my hands, and said he was going to call the police. WTF? I couldn’t believe it. I really should have let him though. He tampered my dress, and is not taking any responsibility or attempting to apologize. But I thought it would be pretty ridiculous to bother the police with that. He said I should be careful because other dry cleaners he knows have guns and would shoot me if I «stole» the dress back. Another big «WTF». That comment I probably should report to the police. I was really upset at this point. I couldn’t think. I really felt there wasn’t anything I could do. So I regrettably paid so I could leave and never come back. I should have contacted someone of authority or called my husband for help, but like I said I was pretty upset and not thinking clearly. Such an asshole.
Avoid this place, unless you like to be threatened and have your nice clothes ruined.

I love this place! The owner is so nice, always remembering us and chatting while he takes our clothes. I was a drycleaning novice and he asked whether I wanted my husband’s shirts drycleaned or laundered. Rather than just ripping me off, he explained the difference and recommended laundering them which saved us lots of money.

I recently moved to the area and was in major need of a new dry cleaner. I’ve driven by this place almost every day and noticed the owner always has his doors open an hour early. It was perfect because I wanted to drop my cloths off before I worked at 7am and I knew he would be open and he was. The owner is super nice and I was 100% happy with the dry cleaning of my pants, sweaters, suits, tux, and even ties. He even took the liberty to strengthen some hems on my pants he saw was coming apart. I’d highly recommend this place to my friends, family, and anyone else who was in search of a dry cleaner.

Location is a huge factor here but they didn’t really exceed my expectations.
One of my shirts looked like it had been treated poorly as the beading detail was coming loose… My other dry cleaner will fix various wardrobe malfunctions at no extra cost and with out me asking.
I will probably stick with my old dry cleaners in LG

A little pricey (I had them wash a comforter) but they did a great job.
Quick and easy, not too bad price-​wise, and they were very friendly. Happy to pay the tiny bit extra for going green.

I shouldn’t have come here for alterations, because this place is better for green dry cleaning.
Two regular, single-​layer dresses cost $ 68 to hem up and dry clean. One needed to be taken in at the waist just a little bit. It was pricier compared to other tailoring joints, but for green I thought I’d be willing to pay more.
Large complaint on the hemming job — they cut off the excess fabric, folded it up once and sewed it crookedly across, with no double stitch. The waist wasn’t taken in exactly as they pinned up, although it looked okay by itself. The hem was pretty shoddy, with loose threads and a crooked hem.
They didn’t follow my instructions, but did bill me for what I asked for. Then they told me there was no way they could finish redoing it for one whole week. Dude… one lousy hem. That’s way too long. I’ve had relationships that were shorter. Come onnnn.
So yeah. Come here to get your garments dry cleaned, but don’t bring your clothes. I’ve never been able to wear the dress since.

They do a great job hemming pants as well as patching up anything. I have ripped a few pairs of jeans and they do an amazing job at fixing them. Last time it cost me $ 6.00 which is a bargain.
The other day I dropped off a pair of jeans that needed a hole to be patched and a jacket to be dry-​cleaned. All together that cost $ 15.50 so either their prices went up or my jacket cost $ 9.50 to clean which is very overpriced.
Anyways, other than that they are great which is why I still gave them four stars.
Take my advice: Ask the price before you drop your dirtyyyy laundry off!

Update: We gave them a 2^nd chance. We wanted to keep going here as it is very convenient and the Russian woman that works there (owners wife?) is very friendly. My bf explicitly asked that they not use safety pins because it ruins our clothes.
The woman told him: «oh we only use them on the tags.» Pick up our stuff today and sure enough, two safety pins tucked into the middle of my skirts NOT on the tags, with prominent little holes. I have now downgraded to one star and will not be returning. They are great if you don’t have an item such as a skirt or strapless dress that requires clips but because of them ruining my skirts two visits in a row, we shall not be returning.
Now we have an excuse to get more exercise and try a better place. :)

So, I have a small data set (one suit) to work off of, but based on that, 3 stars. The owner is very friendly and is very proud of his green cleaning system.
Price for the suit was $ 14.99 and I mentioned Unilocal and we got into a discussion about how it helps/​hurts small business. Of course, I was talking while signing the slip and didn’t notice he neglected to give me the 10% discount for mentioning Unilocal as a first time customer, so watch out for that.
Also, they did a terrible job of brushing the suit down and I had to go over it with a lint brush to remove attached white fibers. But then I’m super picky about that kinda stuff.

Inexpensive and friendly.
My boyfriend gets his button up, collared shirts laundered and pressed here for only $ 2 each! The staff always remembers him, and doesn’t even ask him for his slip when he picks up his shirts anymore. The service is friendly and the price is worth it!

A true «GREEN» dry cleaners! I really don’t sense how this place is much pricier than other dry cleaners I’ve been to but then again I can’t afford to go anywhere else because this place is seriously the best! I even recommended it to my BFF who bought her wedding gown from a sample sale and the dress came out perfectly clean with no shrinkage and details all in tact.

I am so excited to find a green dry cleaner! The service is excellent. They close at 7 «and not a minute earlier» (I’m not sure if it is 7 every day). In response to the complaint about the prices, I use dry cleaning super infrequently, so I can’t compare, but my prices have been as follows:
$ 14 — men’s suit
$ 6 — men’s wool slacks
$ 1.75 — dress shirts
$ 6 — hemming pants

This place came very highly recommended by a friend, so I had them press my wedding dress when at the last minute the seamstress couldn’t do it. I thought they did a great job and very fast service.
I haven’t used them yet for my everyday drycleaning, but my friend says they are fantastic and she trusts them with even the mosot precious items, so I figure that’s a pretty great recommendation.
Plus, they do have environmentally friendly cleaning methods, which they say do a better job than traditional dry cleaning.
