We have commercial properties we are managing and needed to find a new contractor for upcoming maintenance and repair work. I have to say it has been very difficult to find a dependable contractor that I can consider being on my side.
I recently came across CW Hansen Constructions through Unilocal.So far I am satisfied with the services Curt and his team provided us.
Curt seems to truly care about his clients. Due to several unexpected repair work that we had to address recently, finances were tight. Curt looked for ways that could save us money, while getting things done right. He also looks at possible problem areas that we didn’t think to ask, but he takes his own time to review and to inform us. He really pays attention to our needs and he has been flexible with our scheduling issues.
We are still in the process of getting some work done, and definitely looking forward to working with this company.

I called C W construction and told them what I needed. I was told I would be called back the same day or the next, No one ever called me. They should have called and said they didn’t want to or couldn’t.

Curt and his group did a great job. Everything came together ahead of their original estimate. The workmanship seems very solid. The cost was a little over the original, because of changes I decided upon during the process and a miscalculation of the electrical portion of the bill. I consider it an honest mistake, as I believe Curt is an upright kind of guy. FYI the work was for a tenant improvements of an approximately 1200 sq foot space rented as just four walls.

We had CW Hansen do an expansion/​remodeling of our small business and we could not be more pleased. Our business had about 2000 sq ft and we took over our neighbors spot, increasing to 3000 sqft. Curt and his screw had to knock down the wall between the units, build some rooms, remodel the bathrooms, install a special floor and all sorts of other substantial tasks.
First, Curt was able to complete the job on despite a nearly impossible schedule I gave him – this was really important as everyday we were closed meant lost revenue. I figured there was no way he could do this, especially since it was over the Holidays, but he managed to do it. Second, he maintained cost – as with all jobs, there were some unexpected things that came up – what I really liked about Curt was he always communicated upfront when something was not as planned, and the estimate he gave me would always be higher than what it actually came in as. A few times when I reduced scope to save money, Curt was fully supportive – and he always looked for ways to save cost as the job went on.
And finally, the quality of the work Curt did is awesome. He did not cut any corners despite the schedule. Our expanded business looks fabulous and our customers could not be more excited about our business.
Curt and his crew were always extremely professional and very easy to work with. I highly recommend Curt and his team.

Curt is a knowledgable competent contractor. His work is excellent and you won’t find a more fair and honest person to deal with in the industry. I have used him exclusively over the years for major remodeling of my own home and multiple additions to my business both large and small. In every case, even when I failed to provide him with adequate plans he has come through for me. Always fair on the price and he consistently provides quality employees and subcontractors to get the job done. He has the respect of his staff and subcontractors because of his business practices. It’s very comforting to know you can hand him the keys to your home or business and rest assured everything will be kept safe and secure. If you have ever been exposed to the construction industry as I have then you know what a rare find Curt and his associates are. You can’t go wrong here.

We’re so happy that we chose Curt as our general contractor out of the 4 quotes we received for our first remodeling project; a kitchen/​family room remodel.
Curt is very knowledgeable and experienced on every aspect of construction, giving us design tips and cost effective options and recommendations along the way. His initial quote was really hard to beat and with the inevitable change orders, he was quite fair and reasonable on costs.
Curt and his crew are also very trustworthy and do great work. (There were a few occasions where they stayed late to stay on schedule.) In addition to his own crew, he has subcontractors that are all well established companies themselves. He has a great reputation with his subs as they speak well of him and his company many times without any prompting. Even the building inspector assured us that we had a ‘good contractor’!
We (as well as family and friends) love with the way our new kitchen/​family room turned out. Overall, we enjoyed the whole remodeling process with Curt. He is a great general contractor doing quality work, the right way, at the right price, and we highly recommend him.

Curt Hansen is an honest and quality focused general contractor. He was the general contractor for our pizza shop (
) and was very professional and focused on making sure the job was done well and the job was done right. He continually looked for ways to save me money and still achieve my construction goals.
Recently, I had a water damage situation and about 25′ of my front wall was destroyed. After the damage was removed and treated, Curt had his guys come in and put the place back together again. He arranged for a plumber and a floor guy to come in and get me setup in a temporary environment so that we could open up again. He even donated a prep sink to help us out.
He is honest and trustworthy and highly recommended as a commercial general contractor. He also does residential work.
