The mission of A Circle Of Warriors is to provide facilitation, free of charge, to enhance the emotional, social, mental, and spiritual health of all Combat Veterans and their families, and to heal the wounds they might have, especially those that are not visible.

A Circle Of Warriors is a 501©(3) tax exempt non-​profit organization.

History

Established in 2013.

We are a non-​profit organization specific to the Combat Veteran and their family members. Currently we meet every Friday from 10 a.m. until noon at 81 N. Second Street in downtown San Jose, holding workshops on CRPTSD, substance dependency, domestic violence, moral injury, and other topics that are affecting our Veterans and their family members.

Business Owner

Susan has volunteered many hours in community service with churches, schools, and other organizations. She is the daughter (World War II, Army), niece (World War II, Navy and Air Force), and sister (Vietnam War, USMC), of Combat Veterans, and the former wife of a United States Marine. Some, if not all of them, suffered or suffer from PTSD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

It is my honor and privilege to serve those who have given of themselves to allow me the freedom that I enjoy today, even as I write this! It was through many deep conversations with my older brother regarding Combat Veterans and their needs that I became inspired to start A Circle Of Warriors. It is my greatest wish that through compassionate understanding and consistent care I can play a part in the healing of our Warriors!
