Only complaint is the little cocky arrogant scruffy kid with crappy little tattoos that works there. And 20 year old that looks like she’s 40 that always near by him snickering and laughing

The best deli and grocery store hands down in Santa Barbara. Great service, people, and of course awesome deli sandwiches. They also make their own balsamic and olive oil. Highly recommend!

Potentially the cleanest Italian Deli I have ever been too. Very friendly service and the sandwiches were great. They did not hold back on the Bacon for my girls custom Bacon /Tomatoe /Avo creation. Great spot.

The best Italian sandwiches in town. Hands down. Simple and fresh ingredients. Family owned and run. Been eating at Tino’s since I was a kid. Never changed, always delicious. Get the super deluxe with everything.

I always get their deluxe sandwich with peperoncini. Tried their little salami and pepperoni right next to their cash register, they were delicious, particularly the pepperoni. Their dill pickle, not so great, a bit to mushy since I like mine with a little crunch.

This place is awesome! We were so happy to have discovered this grocery store on our recent trip to Santa Barbara. The employees were awesome and let us sample several cheeses and meats before making a purchase. We purchased the«Super Deluxe» sandwich and a few different salamis, cheeses, olives, and a bunch of bread. Everything was absolutely delicious; we were so happy with the quality of the food! I wish we had a grocery store like this closer to my home!

Tino’s signature Regular — Deluxe — Super Deluxe are as good as I remember. The family who’ve taken over for Tino(RIP) and reopened at this new location have done a great job of retaining the character and the sub that locals have loved for many many years. This is best addressed to the Santa Barbara community rather than out of towners. It’s all about that sandwich! The bread is still soft with that little bit of give, the oil is still delicious and a little drippy. Grab a bag of chips and it’s a solid blue-collar lunch. There’s still a good selection of Italian and some spanish imported goods, like rice, cookies, liquors, cured meats. What’s mainly different is the new location is bright and tidy, and there are more smiles behind the counter. I’m digging the little salamis and pepperonis right by the register, $ 1.75 each, it’s my kind of impulse buy.

Who doesn’t love Tino’s? So happy this locals favorite is now on one of busiest main streets of Santa Barbara. Everyone deserves to try their amazing subs!

You can’t go wrong with the Super Deluxe. After the long wait for the move I wasn’t sure if they would remain the same without Tino and his wife at the counter. My fears were unfounded. They have a great deli overall and the soda collection is quite vast. They even have Pepsi made with sugar, not corn syrup, in regular, cherry and vanilla. For the first couple weeks I was literally ordering two subs to have one to bring home. Yes, they are that good.

A Santa Barbara classic! Being a SB native, I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. We would walk blocks just for a Tino’s sandwich! The new location is very nice, parking is a royal pain during lunch tho, but worth it once you get in! Glad to see the family keeping it going!

I’m sorry but this is the worst sandwich we ever had. No tomatoes onions or pickles on the sandwich like we ordered. They aren’t like any Italian deli I have ever been in. We will not be back.

I’m not going to call this the best sandwich in Santa Barbara because there’s quite a few really good sandwich places… but they all have their specialties. That being said… Tino’s is the best Italian Sub in town — hands down. I’ve only lived in the area for about two years, so I never got to experience the old Tino’s. This new location opened up about 2 blocks from where I live and it takes everything in my power not to walk over and grab a sandwich every day. The menu is simple: Regular, Super, Deluxe. Each step up includes the items from the level below it. So a Deluxe has everything that comes on a regular and super. The standard«Super Deluxe» includes a variety of italian meats, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pepperoncini’s, mayo, mustard and italian oil/seasoning. I always add pickles, avocado and jalepenos to mine though. The bread is delicious and tastes fresh. My loaded Super Deluxe plus a bottled water runs about $ 9.50 — that’s awesome. If you leave the avocado and extras off, it’s around $ 7.60. You’d easily spend that at Subway for an inferior, pre-fab sandwich. They also offer a tuna and a vegi sandwich. 5-stars: Woohoo! As good as it gets!

We purchased a meat and cheese platter last minute for a super bowl party TODAY. With hardly any notice, Elio and his team had our platter ready and waiting for us within the hour(the place was packed with people getting their super bowl necessities). We are over the moon happy with the service and product that Tino’s provides. The staff is excellent and the food is amazing. We are hooked and will be back soon! THANKYOU!!!

Two Words: Super Deluxe I am glad they did not run out of bread(my fellow Unilocal friend ran into this problem). I tried the super deluxe because I was super hungry. This elegant sandwich is so simple, I could not stop giggling because it made me so happy. Head down to Tino’s. This was my first time, but it is certainly not my last!

Just took my new wife for her very first Tino’s super deluxe sub. All I can say is thank you. Tino’s does not disappoint. Super friendly staff. Fresh bread. And the sandwich is delicious all the way thru, the last bite being the very best. I’m going to introduce all my friends and coworkers to the delicious simplicity of a well made Italian sub. Really stoked they finally reopened in a brand new storefront in the heart of downtown.

Bottom Line; The best sandwich in town. Period. I have been going to Tino’s for almost 20 years and was crestfallen when it closed. A few days ago I found out they had reopened and headed straight down there for a Super Deluxe… aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand they were out of bread. The next day headed down there aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand they were out of bread again!!! This is how amazingly busy this place was the first two days they were open! So on the third day I managed to get myself a super deluxe and man its just as good as it was before Tino passed away in the previous shop.
This place rocks!

So, I have to apologize again for my «friends» stunt on Tuesday. The line was at least 50 people deep and in strolls a friend and her husband. At this point I was about half way through the line. Husband shakes my hand and proceeds to the end of the line. «Friend» hangs with me and starts telling me stories but assures the folks behind that she’s not butting in line in a very loud and clear manner. Slowly but surely the line moves and she’s moving right along with it. I get to the counter, order my sandwich and what does she do?! Yep… she orders one too, hands me a ten dollar bill, tells me to keep the change and scoots out the door. I then heard her husbands phone ring. That was really lame Deborah! Thanks. I should have given your sandwich to the guy behind me, but I did apologize for your drunk ass. Oh, the sandwiches are as good as ever!

I’m so happy Tino’s is finally open at their new location. I practically grew up on their delicious Italian subs. If you’ve never been to Tino’s then I suggest you get yourself down there ASAP! They have the 3 staple sandwiches to choose from: Regular $ 6.00 — Salame, Coppa, Cheese, Galantina, Mortadella, and Salame Cotto Deluxe $ 6.75– It’s like the Regular but add Tomato & Cheese Super Deluxe $ 7.50 — It’s like the Deluxe but add Ham & pepperoncini My go to sandwich is the Super Deluxe with mustard, mayo, and light olive oil. It seems the prices have remained the same as before so that’s even better! My son is now hooked on these subs too. It feels good being able to share my favorite childhood place with him. So glad Tino’s family kept this place running! RIP Tino.
