Brunch offers 10 – 12 weekly changing menu specials, influenced by the seasonal items available locally. Dinner is more focused on showcasing California farmed products, inspired by the flavors of the Riviera. Fresh seafood, handcrafted pasta, and of course our signature Fig Burger.
History
Established in 2011.
Family owned and operated since 2011. State and Fig replaced a long tenured Deli in La Arcada. Husband and wife team assumed operations in 2011, then completed a full remodel in 2012, launching the highly regarded State & Fig. A concept that is focused on bringing California raised products to light, with a taste of the Italian/French Riviera. Farm to table antipasti, locally caught seafood and California based beer & wine selection.

Patrick C.
Business Owner
Raised in his family restaurant in Massachusetts, Patrick began his career at an early age. Studied at Southern New Hampshire Univeristy, then traveled west to Arizona for a 10 year career in the kitchen, for several locally owned restaurants, Relocated to Los Angeles, to be become a Director of Operations and Development for acclaimed Patina Restaurant Group. Relocated his family to Santa Barbara in 2011, to return to the kitchen, and persue the family’s dream of owning their own successful café, and raising their son, in beautiful Santa Barbara
