Stabiles is a Home Décor and Product Design Company in Santa Barbara California. Our products are made here in our local studio and are a reflection of our lifestyle and surroundings. We design and make airplant displays that are aesthetically pleasing and functional. We also produce our Sota Candle line in small batches out of a high grade Soy Wax and Essential Oils. We source Santa Barbara’s finest artisanal goods such as hand-​crafted Lamps, hand blown Salt and Pepper Shakers, Alpaca Throws, Jewelry and home décor for our Mobile Boutique and Online Shop.

We believe that an Artisan is an Artisan no matter where they reside, so we are now featuring some products from NYC, Texas, Oregon and Japan.

History

Established in 2013.

Stabiles are Hand-​crafted wire sculptures designed and made by Samuel Guzmán from Santa Barbara California. The sculptures compliment the airplants in a whimsical and playful way.

Stabiles-​Mobile is a mobile boutique that we designed and built to support American Artisans. The shop is carefully curated with unique airplant designs, Søta Soy Wax + Essential Oil Candles, Home Décor and Sustainable gifts. We focus on Artisanal Goods and are available for private shopping parties and events as a corporate gift truck.

Business Owner

A Santa Barbara based Designer, Artist and Consultant who has ditched his day job to exercise his vision and palette for design. With a background that is more suitable for luxury hotels, fancy restaurants and boutique wine labels, one would wonder why make the shift. The answer is simple to Guzmán «there is nothing more gratifying than seeing people smile at something that you designed and made from raw materials». Now that his first release as an Artist is in full swing, we can all take his Stabiles into our homes and share their nostalgic qualities. Guzmán has successfully executed a body of work that can be timeless and can evolve into high-​end sculptural pieces made of titanium or platinum to accommodate the demands of museum quality. His vision to continue to develop his artist muscle comes in the form of a Mobile Boutique; the Stabiles Mobile is an installation that Guzmán designed and built. Every inch from the logo to the windows are all the results of his imagination.
