Water Softening– The Central Coast is home to some of the hardest water in the Nation. History

Established in 2013.

In 1992 Mr. Nipper was hired as the General Manager of Culligan Santa Barbara (at age 22). In 2002 Mr. Nipper was tasked with rebranding the Culligan Franchise, by the owner, to create the Company Pure Water Systems of Santa Barbara. In 2004 Matilija Bottled Water was purchased and Mr. Nipper, along with his wife Lori Zahn, spent the next several years rebuilding and rebranding both companies and merging them in the single company Matilija Pure Water. After 21 years working for an owner, in 2013 it became evident that it was time for Mr. Nipper to work for himself… Welcome to Sol Wave Water.

As a Santa Barbara native, Steve Nipper understands understand the importance of accountability and accuracy. After graduating from Anacapa School Steve went on to study architecture and design at Santa Barbara City College while supporting himself working as one of the management team at the Santa Barbara Athletic Club. In 1992 he was hired as the General Manager of Culligan Santa Barbara where he started his career in the water conditioning industry. He went on to rebrand Culligan into Pure Water Systems and eventually absorbed Matilija Bottled Water. Whether your application is residential or commercial water softening, drinking water, bottled water, salt delivery, water testing, well water, medical, industrial his over 21 years of experience in «the water world» will provide you with the best solutions to any water problem you may have.
