This has been my paint store of choice for the 25 years I’ve lived in town. After today’s encounter with a horribly arrogant and flippant employee by the name of David I will not be back. Eddy the manager is wonderful to deal with and I will certainly voice my complaint to him. The smug attitude that I was subjected to with every question I asked David was completely unacceptable but I let it go until I got to the counter to pay. Since I was buying supplies for my painter, I asked to have the sale rung up under his account. When I questioned my painters discount vs. the sale price, I could no longer tolerate this clerks rude behavior. I told him I had had enough of his attitude and to give me my receipt. As he shoved the receipt across the counter he said, «not until you sign this». Evidently customers are expected to bring their own pen because he stood there staring at me, arms crossed. Finally he went to the back room to get a pen. I told him what a rude p*%#k he was at which point he laughed in my face and told me I need professional help as he walked back to laugh with his co-workers sitting in the back room. Shame on Sherwin Williams for hiring such a person — a terrible reflection on your store and the company as a whole.

I went back a few times recently — and I’ve had great experiences with a woman who works during the week. She is fantastic at matching and mixing paint.
