Otojoy – If ears could smile...

Otojoy is fantastic. Thomas is very nice and informative. My earplugs took a while to arrive, but they were worth it. They are so comfortable and effective. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone.

I own a pair of 15 dB custom fitted earplugs. These things work great! They have no sound distortion over all frequencies, and it doesn’t make me look like Shrek at club/​concerts/​anywhere (I’m talking about those $ 1 green foam ear plugs that stick out of your ears). I use them whenever the volume around me is too loud, such as when I’m vacuuming (yes, in case you haven’t noticed, vacuum cleaners are loud!). I even used it at a movie theater that played their sound too loud, and I’m proud to say that it sounded exactly like it would at a NORMAL volume, without bursting your eardrums. Want another cool application? If you come from a dual culture background like me, I used mine during Chinese New Year just two weeks ago to shield my ears from REALLY loud firecrackers. I didn’t have to cover one ear with one hand while using the other to light my own firecrackers. So, really, with the custom fit ear plugs, you can pretty much sit back and enjoy whatever you are doing. Finally, the ear plugs actually consist of a plastic mold and a filter, so you can remove the filter and insert a pair of earphones (you have to purchase this separately, of course), and the result is earphones with excellent isolation, without the ridiculous pricing. Yes, with this configuration, I adjusted my volume from 25 (on a scale of 100) to 7 because there just wasn’t that much background noise!

Otojoy’s line of earware is smart and inspiring — earplugs, cutting edge hearing aids and earbuds. I wear a pair of custom-​fitted earplugs when shooting music and they are way better than anything I’ve ever used.

Bartending in a high-​volume nightclub, it’s extremely important to be able to hear my customers as well as save my hearing from the very loud background noise. My Otojoy earplugs are a godsend. Not only can I hear my customers and provide them with the correct order, but I know why hearing will be protected from the high decibel music. It took a little getting used to hearing my own voice when the earplugs were in, but after that, my ears were in heaven.
