My name is Jennifer Ellison. I am a native of Santa Barbara with a California State Broker’s License and a background in small business consulting.

I have secured home loans for literally hundreds of purchase transactions and refinances including, cash out 1st mortgages and 1031 exchanges. I have access to a wide array of jumbo and conforming investors to meet the needs unique in the Santa Barbara market. My job is to manage the entire process so you don’t have to.

I have built my business based on a sound knowledge of real estate finance. My commitment is to serve you only when I can improve your financial position. My business grows each year as a result of hundreds of my clients referring their friends and family.

We recently purchased a home in Santa Barbara. After relocating here from Colorado for a new job, we were under duress in that we needed to move quickly to reunite our family (our kids were staying with my mom two hours away; our dog and cat were in a kennel, and we needed to get our kids registered for school.). During a very stressful series of events, Jennifer Ellison and Leah Gaona were like oxygen for us. They were amazing-​incredibly helpful, and accommodating. They helped us circumvent an issue with obtaining prior years tax returns from the IRS due to a fraudulent return filed on my behalf. Jennifer helped us to close nearly 2 weeks sooner than originally promised. Under Jennifer’s guidance, we stayed within our budget, and we got our kids enrolled in school. Thank you, Jennifer!

I rarely leave reviews, but when a service provider exceeds my expectations, I totally think that they deserve recognition. I was really impressed by Jennifer ‘s professionalism. Jennifer is experienced, very knowledgeable, and make herself available to answer all your questions or concerns with patience. She is totally devoted to her job. You can tell that she is passionate and communicate her great skills to her team. Jennifer leads by example. Consequently, her staff are aligned with her. Jennifer listen your need and offer a personalized service with a friendly touch. She gives you the real facts based on an impartial judgment. She also keep her words.
I was buying my first house and was happy to feel 100% safe with Jennifer and her team. In that area of Real Estates, you want to deal with someone that can oversee the entire deal and make sure all the various parties (escrow, bank, appraiser, inspector, etc.) are working together and are on schedule. Well, Jennifer and her team kept everyone in line and made sure that each step got processed on time, smoothly and early!!! They are very fast and return phones calls and emails promptly. Everybody working there are courteous and professional. But Jennifer and Leah in particular are just outstanding !!!

Jennifer Ellison and her staff are top notch. I am a real estate broker here in town and have worked with her on several deals in this past year alone. I cannot say enough about Jennifer Ellison and her team! We bought a new home in May and used Jennifer Ellison at Summit Funding. We closed on time and the process of compiling the needed documents was painfree. At the end of December, I recieved an e-​mail from Jennifer letting me know that they had run the numbers on our loan and could save us almost $ 300 a month by refinancing to a lower rate (with no cost to us). We wouldn’t have even considered refinancing if it hadn’t been for her e-​mail! I’m happy to say that we closed today and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. It was everything they promised and more!
