Jason Handler is a licensed acupuncturist, who specializes in Chinese Medicine, herbal medicine, acupuncture, yoga therapy, qi gong and nutrition. He has treated pain syndromes, back pain, neck pain, insomnia, heart conditions, diabetes, arthritis, pms, menopause, migraines and many other conditions with a compassionate and open heart.

History

Established in 2006.

After graduating as the valedictorian of his class, Jason Handler co-​founded Summerland Healing Arts, in Santa Barbara CA. Currently, he maintains a private practice in both Santa Barbara and Los Angeles, CA.

I believe my life’s story, is best told by one of my favorite teachers. He once said, «Jason, you’re path may not always be easy, it may not even be clear… but know for sure, you are here, on this earth, to be of service.»

I was lucky to hear this at a young age, because even though my life has been enriched with many great accomplishments, like becoming valedictorian and interning at UCLA medical; it has also been filled with many disappointments, like my father’s stroke and my mother’s dementia.

Fortunately, the constant gift has been to always look for ways to help. These days, I am enamored with helping people use the roots and branches of their suffering, or diseases, to understand their relationship to the powerful natural forces all around us. So that back pain may be taught as a way to know gravity, or insomnia may be seen as too little time spent upside down.
