History

Established in 2003.

A Santa Barbara native and a graduate of Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, Janice began her hair design career in 2003. She chose the hair industry because it fuses her passions for creativity, technical skill and customer service. Janice enjoys listening to clients’ ideas, interpreting their desires on styling and color, and working with them to fulfill their visions. Skilled in a wide variety cutting, coloring and styling techniques, Janice prides herself on continuing to refine her expertise, learning and implementing new methods and products, and mentoring up-​and-​coming stylists. She has also studied at the Bumble & Bumble Academy in NYC and is well-​versed on several product and color lines. In addition to her nine years in the salon, Janice has done platform work, updos for local fashion shows and private weddings.

I was born and raised here in Santa Barbara and intend to continue my future as a Hair Stylist in my home town for many more years to come. I’ve always been a creative person, it began with drawing, painting, and 3D artwork as a young girl, and as I grew up I found my passion in styling hair. I’m inspired by music, vibrant colors, Urban influence, the Red Carpet experience, Fashion runway shows, education, and the challenge of this ever changing industry.
