Freeman’s Flying Chicken is a Santa Barbara-based take out and delivery restaurant providing a wholesome and tasty alternative for busy people who don’t have time to cook, but don’t want to order pizza (again). We specialize in freshly cooked rotisserie chicken, salads and a variety of sides and sauces to make dozens of meal combinations. Our most popular dinners consist of rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables served with au jus gravy (Traditional dinner) or BBQ sauce, corn «off the cob» and mustardy potato salad (BBQ dinner). We also offer unique combinations such as Cuban Mojo Sauce with black beans and white rice (Cuban dinner) and others.
History
Established in 2014.
Our first location opened in a remodeled concession kitchen at the SB County Showgrounds in November 2014. Paul Freeman, the founder and owner, has a background in restaurants, having worked in or at restaurants in a variety of capacities, including chef, for over a decade in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles.
