Coast Tires and Service does all of the repairs and maintenance on my family’s three vehicles. They do great work at a reasonable price, and with a smile.
I feel lucky to have such excellent mechanics available in the neighborhood where I work.
They were formerly Big O Tires, now Coast, but they still provide the excellent service I have come to expect from them.
Tobia and Lenny will take good care of you and your vehicle.

The best place in Santa Barbara for service. I started going here for oil changes 4 – 5 years ago. Just excellent service. Always greeted with a smile. Tobia is very helpful. When I had moved to LA I used to come back to SB on weekends whenever I needed service on my vehicle. Once you find a place that is trustworthy you don’t ever want to let them go. Happy to be back in SB. And look forward to future visits here. And also a huge thanks to the tire upgrade on my Jeep. Looks awesome!!!

We’ve been bringing our cars to Coast Tires for over 10years, They’re honest, friendly, pleasant to work with, they really know how to fix car problems and keep them running. Our Landcruiser has 270,000 miles and because of Lenny and Toby its runs like new. These guys are the best!

Our 10-​year-​old dinged up car suffered severe tire and undercarriage damage and was sitting in the Love’s tow yard while we tried to figure out what to do. Several body shops in town treated us as Pariahs when they found out we don’t carry collision coverage on it. It was a stroke of luck that Coast Tires was right across the street. Tobia found all the parts needed to get the car rolling again for a price that made sense given the car’s age and mileage.

It took me 5 years to find a mechanic I really liked and trusted when I moved here. These guys are the best! They care about their customers, work to get you the best price and don’t try to up-​charge you every chance they get. I’m a little afraid that once everyone catches on I’ll have trouble getting same-​day service like I do now, but I’ll take the personal risk if it helps them thrive for many more years. Also, I bought a hybrid and was pleasantly surprised they were so happy to work on it, and knowledgable. Five stars :)

Been using these gentlemen since they were Big Brand. Glad they decided to keep it local with Coast Tires! I had a set of Hankooks installed about 300 miles back and a nail found my sidewall. I called on a Friday afternoon and while the tire had to be ordered, it was ready to be installed by 10am the next morning! Best gift? Tobia waived the installation! I’ll have to drive 40 minutes to have tires, alignments, and other undercarriage work but it will be well worth the drive for their upfront, honest, and friendly business sense!

I went in here because I had a good experience with past work they did on my vehicle when I needed new roaters. This time i went in because I had a light out that I couldn’t figure out the problem. I consider myself a tech savvy person so it was quite disheartening to find out the filament in the bulb was not entirely connected and the bulb had burned out even after i had put that potential reason for the error out of mind. The employee told me to just go buy a new bulb from an auto shop and 10 minutes later i had a new bulb and was on my way home with the problem fixed.
I will Now and ALWAYS be going to this place when I have car trouble until they prove me they are not what they appear. it was also very fun to listen to them talking to each other in Russian (? or Ukrainian).

I was sure that I had written a review for Coast Tires, but I guess I didn’t so here goes.
I had driven up to Santa Barbara on a Friday (months ago) for a job. I finished late, and was going to meet my aunt and uncle for dinner. On my way, my car started spewing steam, and was not drivable. I called AAA and the tow truck driver suggested we tow my car here and they would be able to help me in the morning. He was a former employee, and spoke very highly of them. In the morning the brothers told me that my radiator was cracked (which the tow truck driver had shown me) and I needed a new one. They were able to order the part, and an hour or two earlier than promised were able to replace it and get me back on the road. They also promised me a good deal on tires (which I need) and I would actually drive the two hours because I feel that I could trust them. Thank you guys.

I needed tires for my SUV and found it difficult to get an all season tire due to the large size of my wheels, 21inches. After much online research I settled on Continentals and called around town only to find they are hard to get… until I called Coast Tires! Not only did they have them in stock, but they had the best price too! The person I talked to seemed to know the tire I wanted in detail… he was extremely knowledgable… and accurate. The tire drives/​rides exactly as he described and I couldn’t be happier. After 2 weeks of owning the tires I ran over a nail and developed a slow leak. They took me in for a free repair right as they were closing and stayed open late to help me. I highly recommend this store and will continue to shop locally with them!
