History

Established in 1989.

Dr. Johnson and Dr. Yong (known and Brad and Bruce to their patients and friends) both began their careers as doctors of Chiropractic medicine right here in the Santa Barbara area. They formed a partnership, opening their first office in Goleta, in the shopping center at Storke and Hollister. Back then it was called «Goleta Valley Chiropractic» and the office set a new, higher standard for local chiropractic clinics.

A well-​designed and well-​equipped office was a great start, but it took lots of hard work, long hours and the ability to consistently help patients recover from injuries and chronic pain to really build the practice.

Today, Brad and Bruce are among the most experienced, successful and respected Doctors of Chiropractic in the state of California. Johnson and Yong Chiropractic’s beautiful, state-​of-​the-​art new clinic in Santa Barbara was opened in 2008, and their service and commitment to the community grows with each passing year.

Dr. Bruce Yong received his Chiropractic training utilizing the famed «Gonstead» methodology, employing techniques pioneered by Dr. Clarence Gonstead. For decades Bruce has been helping folks of all ages from all around the Central Coast heal from injuries, accidents and chronic conditions, and his experience and constantly-​updated training ensures that you will be in good hands when you come into Johnson and Yong Chiropractic to be treated.
