As a guy it is tough to find someone who does a great job waxing you and makes you feel comfortable. Jen did both. Found her while on business got my chest, back and abs done. Great job, painless, quick!

I have been getting Brazilian’s from Jen for several years and she is always professional, sweet, and extremely efficient. She has been in the business for 25 years and REALLY knows her trade. Jen consistantly accomodates my last minute scheduling and gets me in and out of her office fast and with a smile. I reccomend her to all of my friends and clients. Book with Jen — she is the BEST!

First off I want to start by saying that I think Jen is really nice and she is really fast but she is not very thorough. The only time I was satisfied with my Brazilian wax was my first visit. For my second and third visit she left so much extra hair behind that I ended up having to shave (both times, yes I know you are not supposed to shave but it’s better than having random ass stragglers all over your crotch). She also charged me more every single time I went in. It started at $ 35 (only for first time visit, which I understood), at my second visit she charged me $ 40 and then me third visit she charged me $ 50 and didn’t tell me that she was raising the prices until after she had finished my wax. When she could tell that I was surprised and unhappy she nonchalantly explained that «that’s just the going rate now.» In addition to this she took almost a full month to cash my check which I did not appreciate at all seeing as I had the exact amount in my account for my rent and my rent check would have bounced. I won’t be going back again, I need someone who is more consistent and professional.

Great experience! In and out in 10 minutes for a 28 $ Brazilian wax! Jen is very friendly and accommodating! I’ll definitely be back!

I have been going to Jen for about a year now and hands down she is the best wax around. There are a lot of claims about sugaring or hard wax being less painful — what’s the least painful is a fast wax and that’s what Jen does. I can get a full monty, upper lip, and brows all done in under 15 minutes! No bumps, no irritation, and I go back to work with minimal redness. What I like about Jen is she’s warm, professional and no nonsense. I’ve lived a lot of places and been waxed all over the world (literally), and Jen is the best hands down!

Jen is the best at what she does, HANDS DOWN! I’ve been waxed by 2 other estheticians and she surpasses them both. I drive down an hour from Lompoc, just to see her. The first time I ever got waxed by her I was about 8 ½ months pregnant and she managed to get me done and out of there within 15 minutes. The wax took up no more than 10. I love the fact that she prides herself in the «lightning» waxing technique… cause let’s face it ladies, bikini waxes don’t exactly tickle. I have nothing but great things to say about Jen.

HELLOOO! This woman was amazing and super professional. She was punctual and her salon was clean, comfortable, and smelled amazing. I was so impressed, I had to write a stellar review. By far the WEIRDEST and MOST unprofessional experience I’ve ever had with an esthetician… And I’ve been getting waxes for years. I was in a bit of a bind and needed a wax ASAP and Jen was the only one I could find working on a Sunday that could get me in (that is how she earned her one star). Originally, my appointment was at 11:30am and I called her at about 11:15 to see if I could push it back to noon as I was enjoying brunch with my mom. Jen said she could do 11:40 but that she planned her day around these appointments and couldn’t accommodate a noon appointment. Understandable. I arrive at 11:39am and the door is locked so I called her. She says «oh are you there?! I took a minute to do something and it turned into more than a minute but I’m on my way back. I should’ve just let you come at noon, that would’ve been fine, but I’m on my way back I’ll be there in a sec» then as she’s hanging up she says «see you in 5». Ooooooook? So I rushed through breakfast to get here by 11:40 and she’s not even there. Awesome. She pulls up about 8 minutes later, so it’s now 11:48 and I expected to have already been waxed and out of there by now. She opens the door and makes NO mention of being late but rather apologizes for being in her «casual Sunday attire». Like I give a crap what you’re wearing… I just need to be waxed and on my way. She has me lay on the table and doesn’t prep me or anything, just applies the wax and starts ripping off HUGE chunks of hair at a time. I have a REALLY high tolerance for pain and I’ve been waxing every 4 weeks for the past 7 years and I’ve never experienced anything so excruciating. AND, each time she applies wax, she dips the same stick back into the pot of wax… GROSS!!! God only knows how many other peoples pubes and dead skin are mixed in with that hot wax. When she’s done removing all the hair, she only wipes down the inside of my butt cheeks so that my cooch is still sticky with wax and I find that my thigh has wax all over it. I asked her to wipe the wax off my thigh three times before I got up to put my clothes back on. I later found a string of wax going from my knee cap down to my foot… She’s waxing my vagina for Christ sake why do I have wax down my leg?! Then, when I went to go to the bathroom a few hours later, I felt as if I was getting waxed all over again! My underwear was sticking to the wax that was never wiped off the top of my vagina and I had to tear it off to pull them down… Ouch! THEN, Jen asked me what I do for a living and when I told her I’m a personal trainer, she started asking me for nutritional and exercise advice. She talked the entire time about her diet and what suggestions I have so she can lose 10 pounds… Last time I checked, I was there paying for HER services, not offering mine. She asked me for some good ab exercises and I was so taken off guard, I explained a couple moves to her. She proceeded to get up on her table and do the moves so she could ask me if she was doing them right… ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?! I felt like I was in the twilight zone I could not believe I wasn’t standing there showing an esthetician ab exercises on the table she just waxed my vagina on. Then came payment. She told me it was $ 35 for my first time so I wrote out a check for that amount. At that time, she hands me flyers with a list of her services and the prices and tells me to give them to my friends as she offers an array of skin care services and has «first time» specials. I read it over as I was walking out and it listed a first time Brazilian for $ 28… So why did I just pay $ 35!!! NO way in HEL* will I be giving these flyers to anyone besides the recycle bin. First of all, the price is falsely advertised and I won’t send my friends somewhere where they expect to pay $ 7 less than what she requests at the end of the service. Moreover, I would NEVER recommend anyone go to a place that practices such horrible sanitation (double dipping the stick, no prep before waxing). I would be embarrassed to send my friends to someone who talks about themselves the entire time and exploits her clients for their services (I.e. Asking me for diet and exercise advice, which is something my regular clients pay a lot of money for). And lastly, I certainly would not recommend anyone to go see someone who can’t accommodate a time change and then is not even there when you arrive for your appointment and proceeds to be 8 minutes late. VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE.

OK so this post may surprise some people. I am a man and I go to Jenn to get waxed. I am naturally hairy and nobody wants to deal with all that hair, least of all my wife. My wife likes me clean and hair-​free and Jenn performs per the wife specifications. If you are a man and need some waxing services done, go see Jenn. She is the best!

I will never go anywhere else again! I’ve had only one wax before coming here, and I thought it wasn’t too bad. Then I met Jen! First she was able to squeeze me in last minute when I basically called the day I needed the appointment. Second, she is probably the fastest waxer on the planet.
She’s also extremely efficient unlike the last woman I went to. The woman who waxed me the first time kept missing the wax so she wouldn’t pull it off the whole way. This resulted in extra torture because she would have to pull the same spot twice. Plus, I think it took around 30 to 45 mins. Jen got me in and out in probably 10 mins or less!
If you are new to waxing like me or just need a new place to go, this is definitely your best bet! Jen is accomodating, easy to talk to, and reasonably affordable (especially if you are a student $ 35)

Made an appointment here with Jen. She was very easy going and had good communication. Upon arriving I found a small wait, which was not a big deal. Once inside I found it to be very sanitary looking with a peaceful atmosphere. Jen was very gentle for a first timer. I would recommend her to anyone.

Just came back from my very first Brazilian and she made the process so easy. She’s lightning fast and I was done in ten minutes. I’ve heard lots of horror stories about waxing but Jen was so skilled, it hurt less than getting my eyebrows threaded.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Absolutely amazing. Jen fit me in with very little notice and was a complete professional. Her waxing studio is located in an older Victorian home and was very relaxing. Not only did she wax my eyebrows, she also introduced me to tinting. The difference is subtle but fantastic. If you are in the area, make a trip to see Jen. You won’t be disappointed.

men, please dont read this because it might get graphic… but i’m writing this as if i’m writing to one of my girl friends.
i made an appointment with jen over the phone and there was a little bit of a mix up (the only mishap) but we figured it out as soon as jen got my voicemail.
my pain tolerance was not very high this week because mother nature is one mean lady… i got my eyebrows done at Nordstrom and it kinda hurt. i figured that a speed wax was the best way to go about things especially since i’d much rather get it over with then drag the process out way longer.
i freaked out a little bit when i didn’t see hard wax because holy moly, brazilians aren’t pleasant as it is, but since she uses actual fabric strips and she does it quickly, it was as painless as it could be. i think our entire appointment took a total of 15 minutes? and i lived to tell the tale.
i said the f word once, but like i said… my pain tolerance was lower than usual.

Jen is the best! She is quick and does an awesome job! I go to her regularly for Brazilians and she’s always on time and quick. I made the mistake of going somewhere else in SB (Float) when Jen was out of town. It took forever, I broke out in a rash that took a week to heel (I have very sensitive skin) and the process was extremely painful. This has never occurred when I’ve gone to Jen. She always does a perfect job in such a short time, with very little pain which quickly goes away, no rashes and there are no straggling hairs to be found. I totally recommend Jen. She does an awesome job and she is very pleasant to go and visit with while getting waxed!

I am new to town and have been procrastinating finding a new wax lady; never a fun task. I was *slightly* skeptical because I’ve been a hard wax devotee, but even with hot/​soft wax Jen was super proficient, fast and good. I would HIGHLY recommend her and plan on returning!
FYI: I’ve been to some of the top spots in Seattle, SF, LA, NYC, and throughout Europe and the Middle East — I’m not new to the waxing scene. This girl was good.

I recently moved to the area and am now working on finding new professionals to help keep myself «maintained». I went to Jen for a full leg wax and brazillian, and I must say I was very happy with the result. First and foremost Jen made me feel very comfortable and I enjoyed chatting with her even while she was working on my more private areas, rather than wishing I was somewhere, anywhere, else as I usually do. The wax she uses is warm, not hot, which I very much appreciated so it doesn’t burn your skin. She is gentle, efficient and thorough which is the perfect trifecta of waxing. I will definitely be back.

I have to say I have always been intimidated by the «brazilian wax» and never thought I would even go there! But I heard so many great things about Jen’s waxing services that I thought, what the heck… well I’m glad I did! It was so quick and not nearly as painful as I suspected! I think because it was over before I had time to feel it! I think it literally took 7 minutes! Not only is she quick but thorough as well. I can’t believe she doesn’t charge twice as much as everyone else with her experience, but thank god she doesn’t, in fact it’s super reasonable. I have found my waxing specialist and I’m super happy :)
