History

Established in 2010.

Beth Alexander Fitness was started while Beth completed her degree at UCSB – a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and two Minors in Exercise and Sports Studies: Group Fitness Instruction and Personal Training.

In 2010 Beth received her National Academy of Sports Medicine Certification in Personal Training and has been working one-​on-​one with clients since. During the past 5 years, Beth has studied with chiropractors and other trainers to further her knowledge of the human body and develop her coaching skills. She holds nationally accredited certifications in Personal Training, Group Fitness, Foundation Training, Indoor Cycling, and Fitness Nutrition.

Business Owner

Beth Alexander is a Santa Barbara based movement trainer. She teaches people how to use their body to life fun, pain-​free and dynamic lives. Her speciality is in reducing low-​back pain, improving posture and increasing core strength.

Beth has a Bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara, and over 10 years of experience teaching movement classes and over 4 years of experience working with people one-​on-​one. She holds certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the American Council on Exercise, Schwinn Indoor Cycling and Foundation Training. While at UC Santa Barbara, Beth received many distinguishing honors and awards from Student Affairs, the College of Letters & Science, and was recognized as the Exercise & Sports Studies Student of the Year in 2010.

Since graduating, Beth has built up a private client practice as well as developed classes and programs for corporate offices, hotels, and local studios & gyms.
