Wisdom Tool Repair

Had a good feeling when I first walked in to the place. The guy was friendly and helpful.
After they called me with an estimate for the two nail guns I brought in, I authorized them to fix one of them. That does not mean much to them. They fixed both guns and charged me for it.
I also ordered some other parts for tools. After about two weeks I canceled the order. The parts were due to get there after one week. Nobody ever called me to tell me it would take longer or gave me an update. The whole experience was very disappointing. I will not go back

Really wasnt pleased with this place.
Quoted me $ 120. $ 60 repair. $ 60 parts.
Got the manufacturer to supply the parts under warranty. Took the parts down there.
Go to pick it up and they tell me $ 125-​deposit.
Uggh no, totally shady in my opinion, said they would never have repaired it for $ 60. This is after weeks of unanswered Voicemails etc. Totally unorganized Shady business.
Did do the repair somewhat correctly after that, still had to tighten multiple parts that were leaking air.
Would not recommend this place whatsoever.

Where is the place that you go when you understand that a tool is not just an expendable material on the job site? A tool is something that you come to love, trust and rely on. A tool will last you a lifetime if you treat it right and if you are looking for a little guidance on whether or not it makes sense to repair a tool or pitch it for a new one, this place will have the honesty to tell you where you stand. I brought in 2 drills with broken chucks and two orbital sanders with broken pads and bearing systems. At the end of the day, I spent $ 190 on 4 tools that have been tried and true. I would give wisdom tool repair 5 stars for their speed (24 hours what?), knowledge and customer service. 4 stars on price, but a the end of the day this is a tool hospital that you would be pleased with. They have a large selection of used equipment for purchase as well, but not that creepy LA pawn shop feel. A legitimate stand up place, I would go back again!
