Victor’s Shoe Repair

Long overdue review for this gem. I took 3 pairs of designer heels to have the bottoms done and Diana was amazing. She quoted me and had them done in a few days. Next round i brought 12 pairs to be soled, and heel taps added to a few pairs i overused. Same thing, Diana was great, quoted me a very fair price and had them all done including cleaning 2 designer bags i had collecting dust for years. Forget pascals in west Hollywood where they charge you a fortune for 1 pair and are «too busy» to get them done in time. It’s worth it to go to Burbank and have a fair and honest business fix and clean your shoes !

This would have to be the best experience by far, not only is his customer service friendly and professional but his art is by far the best in the shoe Industry! First time coming to repair my shoes and I must say I was shocked! My shoes went from looking like a side curb alert pick up to a brand new pair of fresh Aldo’s! Thank you Victor and I will be returning frequently.

Victor is the best shoe repair in Santa Ana. I travel 20 miles just to take my repairs to him. He also makes miracles. I found these super cute flats that were an entire size larger but I knew Victor could make it happen. He made them smaller with his magic and now they fit like a glove. Thanks Victor!

Don’t bother coming here. Victor was very nice when I dropped off a pair of shoes and a purse for repair on Wednesday. He said everything would be ready on Monday. It was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, so I understood that it would take longer than usual. I stopped by Monday and the shoes are still not ready. He asked me to come back the next day. Annoying, but okay. I come back Tuesday and he can’t even find my shoes and purse. After a few minutes of looking around aimlessly, I point to a Trader Joe’s bag on the floor. I remembered that I had brought my stuff in a Trader Joe’s bag. It was my stuff and none of the work was done. I asked him for my stuff back and left. Almost a week in time wasted.
Prices were reasonable but you get what you pay for.

This man is great! My family and I have been coming here ever since I can remember he fixed my heels, sandals, and even my horse riding boots! He has great prices too the only down side is that his place is small and parking can be a problem sometimes but the work makes up for it. He’s been here for 15+ years and he’s a very humble hard working man! I just brought my Uggs in to repair the water damage and they’ll be ready tomorrow. He’s awesome!

Took my wife’s shoe there for a repair. Shoe had last about a hour before it broke again. Never will I come back here.

Not rating but had to select something — Maybe closed? stopped by twice (sign say open but lights are out) and no ones around, called no answer — anyone know?

Seriously unbelievable prices. You could mail your shoes here and still save. Very nice too! If the work is good, all my shoes will come here

I needed an old pair of shoes spray painted a different color. It cost $ 25 but they looked brand new afterwards!

He is amazing! The straps ripped off from my favorite pair of Steve Madden sandals. I called and ask how much it would be to fix it and he said $ 10. I was surprised at how cheap it was that I thought he didn’t understand what happened to my sandals haha. Anyways I took it to his shop and he was very kind and friendly. He finished it pretty fast too! He did more than I asked for. He polished and cleaned the leather straps and all for $ 10. I definitely recommend this place.

Took in my diesel zip up high top sneakers on a Tuesday because I broke the zipper. It cost $ 120 so I wanted to get it fixed. They said it would be finished by Friday. I got there Friday afternoon and they told me the shoes were not done yet. I wasn’t very happy. If they’d called me at least they would’ve saved me the drive. I went back on Monday and it was done. However the zipper they replaced with was a silver color when the original was bronze. But the colors being different isn’t that big of a deal however first day of trying them on I noticed the replaced zipper kept going down by itself. It was a very bad sewing work too where if you look closely you can tell someone had worked on them. Worst $ 20 I ever spent on shoes. I’ll be taking these to a different shoe repair to get better zippers or just get a new pair of sneakers.

Victor is fantastic. I’ve been going here since 2006 and have always been impressed by the quality of work. Prices are very reasonable.

Went here to repair a purse and he said he would repair the purse in 3 days and it’s been 3 WEEKS!!! He doesn’t pick up his phone and he doesn’t open at the hours he has posted.
I went to the shop and asked if the purse was ready and he didn’t even know what I was talking about. He had to dig around to find the purse I described and to my surprise nothing was done to it. He said he would start working on it and that it would be done in 3 days and I called 1 week later and he didn’t even know what he had to do with the purse.
Horrible service! It’s not worth having a cheap price with the stress of having to babysit this man. Would not recommend this place.

I just went to Victor’s for the first time and I’m absolutely happy with the service. Victor is super nice, which is always a good start. I had my old, trusty boots resoled and he not only repaired the soles in a seamless manner, he also cleaned the suede leather to almost brand new quality! I’m definitely going back to this place to revive other aging footwear.

One Amazing hole in the wall store, best shoe repair around… So good that he has a contract to renew Redwing Boots. Definite plus… Knows his work and can fix almost anything, my family and I have been coming to him for 15 years and would never go anywhere else. His work is A+, fast, cheap compared to anyone around!
It’s a bit hidden behind the salon and next to the gas station have to enter through the alley.
ps… Take business cards with you to give to others. He won’t let you down!

Same day shoe repair for my Bernie Mev platforms. They are elastic and fit a bit big so he was able to adjust the strap to hug my foot. He’s very polite and and it only cost $ 7. Only complaint was the stitching was not exactly neat, though it is facing inwards so not very noticeable. But overall would recommend!

I’m bringing all my business here from now on! I had a zipper that got detached from my boot. He fixed it for only $ 7 and said he could even do it same day. I’ve gone to at least 3 other places with no luck — folks telling me they couldn’t do it or I had to replace the entire zipper for as much as $ 30. My boots are not fancy. I bought them retail for around $ 40 so I wasn’t going to spend $ 30 to replace one zipper. Thank God I found this place! Plus he’s a super nice guy with great customer service.
Beware that this is a little hole in the wall tucked between a gas station and this water store /​hair salon so it can be hard to find. It does have its own parking lot in the back. You just have to enter the alley from McFadden after passing Main from the north side.

Zipper broke on my shoe and he fixed in a couple minutes while I waited for $ 7. He also accepts checks (didn’t have any cash on me). Now his shop is kinda cluttered and there’s crap everywhere (minus a star) and its kind of a hot mess but WHO CARES! He’s friendly, fast and he knows where things are in his shop so that’s all that matters.

Quick, no hassle, and affordable shoe repair.
Kind of hard to find. It’s behind a beauty store. Should try to park on a side street and then walk to the shop for easy access.
