Through out my life span, I have acquired many skills. I was left on my own when I was 15 years of age. When I reach the age of 19, I crossed the boarder to be in this country. I was homeless for about 3 months, moved to live in a shelter for homeless youth until I turned 25. Now I have a paper that says I am in a Masters level, I am a permanent resident, and I get to help people who are struggling and who are going through a tough time. How amazing is that?
Nothing scared me, I am a Therapist who, you can talk to me about anything and everything freely and with out shame. That is what makes me a different therapist from other therapist; they do not OPEN and they do not ALLOW you to be «connected» in session, just as you shall be in a therapy room or when you are with therapist.
A therapist has to be open minded and ready to be able to listen to you and guide you the best as he or she can. The therapist has to have a quality life and be Open, empathetic, non-judgmental.
