Leyla Fazeli, DMD

I’ve been going to Leyla for six years now. I honestly would never go to another dentist. This place is incredibly friendly with great hygienists and a very thorough staff who can answer all your questions. I’m always told my results before any recommendations and always get my goodie baggie at the end of my appointment. I highly recommend this place!

I’m not the type of guy that takes the time to Unilocal but this was the best dental experience I’ve ever had and thought it was well worth my time to post! Dr. Fazeli and her staff go over above to make sure you are informed, comfortable and relaxed. Her gentle touch and skilled hands made my visit painless and pleasant. If you’re looking for a dentist you would be missing out if you didn’t visit them first, one visit and you will know right away you found your new dentist.

As always I enjoyed my visit to Dr Fezeli’s office. Very professional and courteous staff. My entire family as well as many acquaintances have taken my advice and chosen her as their dentist.

Dr. Fazeli and her whole office staff truly care and in my opinion do their best to make the patient experience if not happy, comfortable. My family and I have seen her for years. I really do just love her and her staff. They are all so nice and compassionate. I have had Veneers done by her also, she really went the extra mile. I get compliments all the time now on my smile.

Dr. Fazeli is a wonderful dentist that makes you feel so comfortable in a place that most people don’t ever want to visit. Her genuine care for her patients shines through her work.

I just love my dentist, Dr Fazeli. I have never in my 50 years of living been more comfortable going to a dentist. If you are a scaredy cat like I was she is the dentist for you, I will never go anywhere else. Her staff are also super nice & they are very accommodating to my needs whether its a loose filling or just a cleaning. I now have a beautiful smile thanks to her & I‘m no longer dodging my upkeep on my teeth. Thank you Dr Fazeli & staff

My family and I have been coming to her for many years and would highly recommend her to anyone. I’ve referred multiple friends and colleagues to Dr. Fazeli and every single one has been fully satisfied. Her professional staff is nothing less than that; professional, accommodating, very friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to make their patients happy.
I remember one time right before a special event I needed a whitening done and as always, I had waited until the last minute. Dr. Fazeli was able to squeeze me into her busy schedule and stayed over an hour and a half after closing hours and took care of me. Dr. Fazeli and her staff have always gone the extra mile for me and that’s exactly why I will continue to keep coming back. I’ve also done extensive dental treatment with her and she is super gentle and explains treatment throughly.
I don’t know how this office got negative reviews by others but I’m certain they were mistaken. None of the negative things that the 2 or 3 people that have written on here is true. If you want a clean, gentle, professional, friendly and welcoming staff to help you get a beautiful smile, look no further; Dr. Fazeli’s office is the place for you!

I was a patient of this doctor for a few years. I had some major work done and was satisfied with her services.
After awhile, she was at the office less and less. When I did have appointments for regular cleanings she would not greet me or check my teeth. Every dentist I’ve been to in the past has always acknowledged me and checked my teeth after every visit. I guess she was always too busy and had her staff handle everything for her.
Anyhow, about 6 mos ago she advised that I use clear correct to close a space between my teeth instead of always using composite. She SUPPOSEDLY removed all of the composite and told her assistant to take an impression of my teeth. Julia (her right hand man) told me that my insurance covered everything. So I agreed with the treatment and she ordered the aligners and I used it for 6 mos.
After 6 mos I moved to SF and my new dentist noticed that 30% of my composite wasn’t removed. That meant I would need to make a new impression and wear those annoying aligners for another few months! The cost for correction and labor is $ 750. What a joke! I told Fazeli’s office and even emailed the xrays and they still said they couldn’t help me even though it was her mistake because I signed a contract to transfer service. Julia told me that I owed $ 500 because my insurance only paid $ 1,500. But she told me it was covered in the beginning! What a big mess and headache to have to go through after a big move. To top it off, Julia was the one emailing me not the doctor. I called and requested to speak with the doctor numerous times and she avoided my calls. She didn’t even have the decency to apologize for her negligent work!!! Oh I forgot she leaves it up to her staff to do her work.
As a word of advice, use this dentist if you want to pay for her staff to do her services. In my opinion, she has questionable customer service ethics and lacks empathy.

I love Dr. Fazeli. She’s helped me overcome my fear of dental procedures through her gentle touch and kind manner. Also, my smile looks fabulous thanks to her talented expertise with lumineers. She has done a lot of repairs to my teeth that were neglected due to my lack of dental care because of my fears/​phobias. Thank you Dr. Fazeli for helping me get my teeth in beautiful condition. I will be a life long patient of yours!

I came here for a cleaning and this is by far one the best dental offices I’ve been too. The service was great! However, my dental hygienist Mary Chow was awesome. She made me feel really comfortable the entire time and made sure my teeth were thoroughly cleaned. She was gentle which was a plus because sometimes a cleaning can hurt! She was also very quick yet thorough. Some hygienists take their sweet time and I’m left with a lock jaw after :/ (not a pleasant feeling). I left this place with my teeth spotless! Highly recommend!

I’ve been holding off on this review, but since negative reviews are being filtered I decided to pipe up. For the past 2 years I’ve been going to my dentist biannually for check ups & cleanings. Since I moved to OC, I figured I could get that done closer to home so I tried out this dental office. HUGE MISTAKE!
My cleaning turned into a young girl pointing at my x-​ray telling me my crown was ill fitting & needed to be replaced. Since I had no discomfort & had that crown for years, I should have realized this was just an upsell. Unfortunately I agreed to the procedure. After the dentist removed my crown she disappeared while two young employees began working together to try to take the mold of my tooth for the new crown. I had to sit through 3 rounds of their attempts. Then it took them forever to get the temporary crown in. At one point one of the girls said to the other «Oh, you did it that way? I wouldn’t have done it that way, there’s an easier & quicker way to do it». I wish the doctor was paying closer attention to her staff. I was there for 2 hours!
They play movies on staticy TVs in each station. I kept noticing staff pausing to look at the TVs. Distracted dental assistants aren’t my idea of quality care. Also, movies with loud sex scenes are inappropriate in a place of business. The dental assistant actually had to turn it off because there was a child in one of the dental chairs. This same child could also be heard screaming & crying from pain. My 2^nd visit to get my permanent crown ended up taking another 2 hours because the crown wasn’t fitting! So there I was enduring another molding session. (Again, no Dr. in sight)
My 3^rd visit included more complications. The young assistant told me she had to either send me away to come back a 4^th time or LASER MY GUMS because they were too puffy (from them trying to shove ill fitting crowns in) I had never had puffy gums before or had to endure gum lasering! After the lasering there was more shoving of the crown into my gums while I got to watch 2 staticy movies during my 3+ hour appointment.
The kicker came when the Dr. finally noticed my frustration & instead of apologizing for the long appointments or the complications she FAILED to notice or FIX herself, she actually had the nerve to say «but we are delivering the product today aren’t we?» implying I shouldn’t have been peeved.
What concerns me is that she saw nothing wrong with what she or her staff put me through. She saw nothing wrong with her staff’s inability to fit a crown THEY insisted was ill fitting to begin with. She saw nothing wrong with the fact that 6 of her assitants worked on a patient instead of her. She saw nothing wrong with how much of my time was wasted. She sees nothing wrong with being more of a movie theatre than a dental office. She saw nothing wrong with fraudulently claiming something was wrong with my crown and then putting a worse one back in! this must be the norm here? Clearly she only cared about «delivering the product» and her bottom line not the patient’s well being. I’ve never had a medical professional speak to me using bullshit business jargon.
I endured discomfort for 9 months with the new crow. I eventually returned to my old dentist for her to fix the mess Dr. Fazeli’s negligence caused. BEWARE OF HER BUSINESS ETHIC AND QUESTIONABLE MEDICAL MORALS. You will not receive proper medical attention here.

Dr. Fazeli’s office is welcoming and her staff are very pleasant. I was given excellent care and attention and was as comfortable as a person can hope to feel in a dentist’s office. I look forward to coming back!

I have a bit of a sour taste in my mouth from my last experience with Dr Fazeli and her staff. I had been a patient for about 5 years and when the time came that I needed some cosmetic repairs, she was quick to throw outrageous charges at me and tell me there was no hope for me other than over priced Lumineers. (Keep in mind, Fazeli is a spokeswoman for Lumineers. I don’t doubt they pay her a pretty penny to promote their product.) Well, I saved $ 3000 and went to another dentist who didn’t force Lumineers on me. He repaired my teeth from a chip I got when I was a child, and honestly, out of every dentist I have ever seen, he did the best bonding job ever! Yes! Bonding!!! I still have my teeth. They were repaired flawlessly. I don’t have any discoloration and based on the type of procedure he used, he said there is no reason why my teeth wouldn’t be without a problem for 20+ years. I will be going to Dr. Guang at Healthy Smiles in Corona permanently.
As for Dr Fazeli– yes! I get it. You’re a business owner. You have a family to feed, a beachfront home to pay for and a Range Rover that doesn’t run on water. i get all of that. However, your business is a form of health care. Don’t let your money hungry ways camouflage what you are really trying to do: insure your patients are healthy and offering the best medical care possible.

Being a doctor, I realized there is such a wide variety of professionals out there. I’m fortunate to have come across a talented health care provider such as Dr. Fazeli. She was recommended to me by a friend when there was a possible chance I needed a coupe of root canals. I’ve had one done in the past and never wanted to experience such anguish again. On xray it looked so close to the nerve and in most instances many Dentists would have opted to go for the root canal. But she dedicated her time and care and saved them BOTH! I am so grateful. Now I have to do my part in taking care of these bad boys. Thanks again Dr. Fazeli

I have been going to Dr. Fazeli for over 1 year after not having been to a dentist in quite along time. I needed extensive work, quadrant cleaning, root canal/​crown and several fillings. Before deciding to go with Dr. Fazeli’s office, I compared her treatment plan with other dentists rates and found her to be middle of the road.
The reason I chose to go with her office is that her staff treated me like a king. They made me laugh and assured me that I was in good hands. I have since returned to her office quarterly for regular cleanings and also had a teeth whitening procedure, which again, I shopped the price, and her rate was one of the lower rates.
I have an appointment tomorrow for another routine cleaning and can not wait to say hello to my friends at her office.

Whew, where do I begin? This review is 100% my opinion and observation. You can all judge for yourself if you really want to. This establishment only has one goal in mind: To make the most amount of money and scam people off their insurances. I went in for just cleaning and they FORCED me and charged me for some gum disease check up (which they said I badly needed to check if I have cancerous gums) That’s after the fact that I told them that I only want whatever is covered by my insurance. And before I left, they told me I have to pay for it cash since my insurance wont cover it. Anyways, I have never had cavities EVER and I asked the hygienist when she was cleaning my teeth if everything looked and she said that everything looks great and there are not cavities and x-​rays show that. Surprisingly, when I was about to leave, Dr. Leyla came to the front and said that I have too many cavities and that i should make an appointment for next week so they can take care of that. I looked at the hygienist and she looked at me and immediately went away. I already knew that Dr. Leyla was lying and she just wanted to charge my insurance for some more money. I said NO Thanks and walked off. I got a bill in the mail from my insurance saying that I had work done for $ 1475.00. I was so shocked and upset that this doctor is so dishonest.
After about two weeks of this incident, I came to find out that one of her Employees threatened to sue her for malpractice and taking advantage of the patients and billing their insurances large amounts. I really wanted to find out more so I decided to ask the former employees friend (whom I got the information from, while I was complaining about A DENTIST’S DISHONESTY) if she can arrange a meeting with her friend so I can find out more. On meeting I found out that Dr. Leyla’s entire team in the office is commission driven and she gives everyone ultimatum if they don’t sell based on their goals given by her. Also found out that she’s been wanting to sell her practice for a while because there are law suits against her. She seems like a real cheat and dishonest person and I will NEVER ever go back to her. To some people, money is everything. i hope you realize that with scamming and cheating, your money wont take you far. It’s never too late to turn to Jesus Christ. God Bless you all.

A co-​worker had referred me to Leyla several years ago and I have not been disappointed. Leyla and her friendly staff restored my smile! Though Leyla specializes in cosmetic dentistry she also does family dentistry for routine maintenance. Prices have always been fair. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Fazeli and her staff are very friendly, but there is a bit of money hungriness going on in this office. I went in because she was running a special on lumineers and I had a crooked tooth that I wanted fixed.
She talked me into getting 8 which cost $ 5,000. They had me sign the paper work agreeing that I was satisfied with the outcome of my smile prior to gluing my teeth on. Once they were applied I hated them, and asked that they be reshaped. She did a little bit of grinding, but wouldnt do as much as I wanted. They looked like Chickle Gum if anyone is familiar with those white, square gum pieces. To top it off, one of her staff members told me that you could see 2 of my teeth in the way back when I smile, and TOLD me that they would order two more at $ 800 each. I barely got the chance to squeeze in my, «no thanks.» Come to find out later that the staff works partly on commission…
The doctor told me that «I just needed to get used to them.» Its been a bit over a year now, and I still hate them! 2 have cracked and 1 chipped, so I am going to another dentist next week to have them removed. Who knows what this will cost me!
I only needed one tooth, but they pushed for more because they wanted the money. Thats what I get for not doing my homework. Im sure she is fine for general dentistry, but Id just be more careful in the future.

Dr. Fazeli and her staff are wonderful. The staff always makes me feel so welcomed and the office is very clean. Treatment is always thoroughly explained and I am always given options. Dr. Fazeli does AMAZING work. I am so happy.
