Jim Conner Photography

My fiancé and I had our engagement photo session taken in Newport Beach. The pictures were mainly taken inside Old Spaghetti Factory. We chose to have the pictures taken here due to the antique feel. I wanted Jim to capture the background colors and décor.
Its hard to find a photographer. Jim is very professional and flexible. I did sent him a couple of pictures on how i would like our pictures to be taken. I’m glad he considered my ideas. He was on time and he had his equipment ready with him. The first thing I noticed when we walked into the place he started observing the whole area to have an idea on how he was going to take the pictures. Along the sessions he was telling us how he wanted us to stand and focused on our form.
To our surprise later in the evening I found out Jim had our photos ready to view! This made our night. I could not believe how beautiful the pictures turned out. My fiancé and I looked stunning. I myself came out glamorous :)
If you are looking for great pictures to be captured. I do strongly recommend Jim. I can’t wait for our wedding pictures to be take.

What can we say about Jim Conner Photography? Well, what can’t we say? My husband and I met with Jim about 6 weeks before our wedding to discuss the photography at our wedding. During this time, I really feel Jim got a chance to know my husband and I. The day of our wedding, he remembered conversations we had with him 6 weeks before. This truly impressed my husband and I. Jim was able to capture who my husband and I are and the moments of our wedding in photographs. Looking at the photos we were able to see the small moments of our wedding we could not see that day from how our families were smiling during our first dance to the interactions of our guests with other guests. He really used our the beautiful venue to the fullest and really thought about how our venue could add to the photography. We had our wedding at MOLAA and Jim used the space really well. We were able to mimic poses that we in the paintings that made the paintings come to life and allowed our photos to be more complex. Within 3 weeks after our wedding, we were able to see our photographs! To add to the timeliness, 3 weeks after our wedding was January 1^st! Wow! Thank you Jim for capturing moments of our wedding that we can keep:)

JIM: Jim is a very talented and personable photographer. Recently, he shot our annual family photographs. Even with nature distracting my kids (our shoot was at a local park… hence, ants, gnats, other kids playing, etc.), he was able to catch great shots. He was patient and professional.
QUALITY: His work is AWESOME! He shot so many pictures and at a variety of angles. From lighting to positioning, he used his bag of tricks to capture such great photos. Most of all, he was able to capture my kids’ personalities in a picture.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: He promised the portraits would be up on his online gallery in a week — I was happily surprised when I received an email the next day informing me that my portraits were available on the gallery. His turnaround is VERY FAST. And he does not sacrifice quality for speed… the speedy turnaround is just an added bonus to such quality work.
I have worked with MANY photographers. Jim is one I would recommend completely. You feel like you’re his only client when you work with him. Those looking for a top notch photographer who is skilled AND personable, Jim Conner is one you should look into.
** He also shot my sister’s engagement photos… she was very impressed by his work. Brides to be… his work will create happy tears and lifelong memories. In her photos, you could see how happy and in love my sister and her fiancé were.
