In N Out Smog, Test & Repair

Was at the DMV and needed a smog check. Received EXCELLENT friendly service from John, and only $ 34 for the test + certificate. Had everything done and back to the DMV in less than 30 minutes.
Best part was John’s friendly attitude. This is how business should be done!

While at the DMV, they required that I produce a smog test and since I didn’t want to come back to the DMV again, I found this place right across the street. Service was super friendly and fast! He was done in less than 20 minutes and cost $ 34.

The guy, Dave, was wonderful! I was in and out literally in about 15 minutes :) and I got to sit in the comfort of my car while he did the smog check. After checking in, the total was supposed to be 60 $, but he gave me an extra 20 $ off! Very nice and generous man, I will definitely be back for future smog checks!

The name In-​n-​out is no joke! From leaving the DMV to get to the smog test and back to the DMV was a mere 20 min! Steve is friendly and efficient.
Helpful hint: quickest way to get there is by going behind the AM/​PM near Grand and Walnut. Otherwise you’re in store for a 3 mile detour. Call ahead and he will advise you on how to avoid the detour.

Super happy I found this place on Unilocal.The area was a little bit confusing to me but it’s located where the other repair shops are all in a row behind the gas station. It’s my first time getting a smog check so I had no idea what the price range would be. After asking around and doing some research I found that this place has coupons. The starting price is $ 60 and the certificate is $ 8.25. The first coupon I saw reduced the check itself to $ 29.75. A few days later when I actually went to the place the coupons had already changed. It went down to $ 25.75. So make sure to check their website every week maybe. Anthony helped me out and honored the coupon price.
He told me it would take 15 – 20 min but I think it took less time than that. They have a couch and TV in the waiting area. He also offered me water.
I asked him what a smog check was and he explained everything to me. He made sure to double check paperwork and told me they sent the certificate to the dmv already. I paid in cash and he didn’t have enough change so I got another dollar off. (3 thumbs up!). The total cost for me was $ 33
I also asked if he could check my tire pressure since the light was on and he helped me with that also.
Really great service and not really any wait time.

We were in super hurry. We had to go back to dmv in 30 min. But we made it. If you need quick smog check in order not to take another day off from your job i recommend this place.

My experience here was great! I went to a different smog place before them and they wanted to charge me all these fees to get my car diagnosed just to pass smog. Tony was recommended by a family member. My car passed smog with no problems. He’s honest and friendly. Absolutely amazing service! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Love them!

Alot of mechanics like to try an hustle you, especially when your a girl or younger, but Not this place! no matter what age or gender these guys will give you the best service!
