We ordered a small amount of invitations for my baby’s first month celebration. The lady that helped us was nice. The invitations looked nice, nothing fancy. It was pricey for the way it came out. I looked through the invitations when I got home and realized that they printed the wrong date on the invites. With only a week away from the party it was too late to get it fixed. When we called to have them change it to the correct date they said it was going to take 4 more days. They went ahead and printed it but did not offer to discount us or be courteous with a refund since it was their mistake. So i did not pick up the reprinted invitations I had to fix the old ones by myself to mail it out in time. Too bad, i really wanted to leave a good review for this place. But it definitely lack customer service.

NEVERNEVERNEVERNEVERNEVER come to this place at all. I mean NEVER I wish i had read the reviews before i went to this place. All they want is to charge every penny as much as they could. They wanted to cash up front and even did not accept my check. When i asked them why can’t take my check while charged 8% tax, they could not answer. Their business is somehow shady. On top of that, they did not do everything as they said at the beginning. They overcharged all my invites with ridiculous price. When i found out, it was too late. The short guy at the front desk is no help at all while the lady that i usually spoke on the phone is ridiculously rude. I mean, these people are crazy. All they care is about how much they could get from customers. I will NEVER ever visit this place again

My aunt works for the Vietnamese newspaper that prints their ads so maybe they were a bit nicer to us for that reason. I came here with my aunt and probably spent 2 – 3 hours going through their catalogues. Our wedding colors are charcoal gray and butter yellow but the lady there didn’t seem to get it and kept giving me silver… no. She was nice but not very helpful. My budget was no more than $ 5 per invitation set and she kept telling me that I can’t calculate the invitation costs like that, uh yeah I can. We ended up ordering 50 Vietnamese invitations for $ 250 and she kept asking why we’re printing such a small amount(because you don’t have the charcoal pocket that I want). They wanted cash up front(which I didn’t have) so I gave her $ 100 cash and they charged the rest on a credit card. Don’t ever pay everything up front, just do a deposit if you can. That was my mistake but it worked out in the end because they didn’t screw me over. Communication during the proof was difficult because it was all through email and phone(I speak decent Vietnamese) and there was a period where I didn’t get a response and was worried because I paid them everything up front. I got my invitations on the right day as promised and they even called to let me know they were ready. They were exactly was we had discussed so I’m happy. Located in a brand new small shopping center upstairs.

I wish I read the reviews before I went to Hoa Tien. I wonder if I’ve dealt with the same girl that was mentioned in previous reviews; she is very COLD. The difference between pre-sale and post-sale is huge. Please try not to make any deposit. They ask you to pay in full before they print your invitations. I made a big mistake, I pay in full. There is no service after you give them a check. They did not return your calls or email. Too late — I must be very nice, begging them so I can have the invitations… I am very nervous now. NO I will not do business with them.
